[Sorry for the really late reply, but I've been really busy and I've also had alot of computer problems, but I'm back^^ Oh and Brascus, I'll be posting for Vajra later on cool ]
Rike felt his anger disappear as Kaiser felt, kneeling on the other side of him as Karrot became stone, "Kaiser...you need to take it easy.." he said, trying to keep his voice light, but the foreboding feeling he had as soon as Kaiser fell was growing stronger, "You've done enough for today." he then lifted his body and quickly reset his wing and using his own blood to make it heal faster.
As the others tended to Kaiser, the air entering Emit's tomb began to move a little faster as the tomb began to move in on itself, hardening with the aid of old magic as it began to form into a humanoid form, one that was as tall as the ancient trees around them. Leaves from nearby trees leapt into the fast wind and wove themselves to become clothing for the Leader as sticks and stones enters the mount, giving it even more substance and color. A brilliant flash of green light surrounded the area, comepleteing the transformation. Once the light faded, there stood a man who was atleast seven feet tall, with brown skin so rich the it match the soil around him, firm body structure, and eyes far too green to be nothing but magical.
He looked around for a moment and stretched, getting used to his form once again and then moved towards the water, catching his reflection just before cupping his hands and taking in a deep drink. Finally, Emit turned to meet the ones that freed him. He looked positively regal even as he bowed gracefully and then kissed Merlin's hand. I thank you...Lady Merlin. He said, not yet ready to speak. As well as the others who helped you free me. His voice, in in the mind was deep and resonated throughout the soul. It was filled with a solid peace and the nature he was made of and yet it held great power that would be realised if he uttered a single syllable with his physical voice. His eyes lingered on Merlin and moved onto the fallen Kaiser and Rike.

Merlin resisted the urge to jump on him. Emit was, by far her second favorite of the Ten but she supposed acting so uncharacteristically unlike herself around the others, while not the focus, may not be the wisest choice, the excitement was clear in her expression, though as she looked up at him. She was petite enough that she had to tilted her head almost all the way back to see into his face. She finally turned and went to Kasier and Rike, "Thank you so much, both of you. There's room for him to rest back at the Nocturne." She murmered to Rike, "For you as well." she added, looking up at him.

Kaiser's breathing was shallow. "I appreciate.. the hospitality... but it won't be neccessary... I'm not moving from here..." He held out one quivering hand. "Gemini..." His two sided sword came to him, but it skittered across the ground as though crippled. "Rike... please... help me to the tree..."

Rike nodded, his face racked with emotions. The fact the Emit was 'talking' and moving around didn nothing about the foreboding feeling he had as he lifted his friens an helped him sit down by the tree at the right of Malen, "Kaiser, listen to Merlin ad stop giving up on me." he said finally, "We can go to the Nocturne and get Monaleth to heal you. You're not going to die." he turned as he felt Emit's eyes upon them and give him a quick nod since he was on the ground ad thenreturned to Kaiser, "Or maybe Emit an help you." Bu after a few moments, he realised Emit wouldn't help him. Kaiser had already given up so magic was useless.
The leader nodded, giving Kaiser and the others one last sad glance before looking back to Merlin, Let us go to this place you call Nocturne then. he replied I will find the others later.

"Sorry Rike... I've done more... than I could handle..." He took Rike's hand and placed the Gemini in it. "I've... used too much magic.... I don't have the... life force... to come back again..." His hand slowly fell away from the sword. "Don't leave... our people... leaderless..."

Rike's hand held onto the sword just as Kaiser slipped away from it. He lowered his head and said nothing, but it was clear by his shaking shoulders how he felt. His friend just died infront of him, one who even though his father lived in hell, he hoped he would go to a better place. Goodbye...Juten Ryu... he said to himself before taking Kaiser's hand and aking them both back to the esert Nation they loved. He wouldn't have his friend be buried anywhere else.
And he was never coming back.

[Okay, since I'm sure that this day is pretty much over, I'm taking the liberty of time warping to the next day.]
Salen walked down the halls as he watched the Lotus members carrying out thir usual tasks, stopping only when he saw the only other Asanti he knew could enter this place carrying a small bag, her firey red streaks almost dim since the last time she saw her. Something clearly had happened for she was in red robes, looking almost like the Lotus leader herself except for the traumatized look in her eyes. At her sides were two daggers where her guns used to be for which he figured they were also in the bag. The change was almost scary.
"Malen?" he asked once they were a few feet away. She stopped, looking up from the ground to look into his eyes. There was a moment of silence as the sheer emotion he felt coming out of her overwhelmed him, makin his body take a step back. This only lasted a few seconds before Malen began o move once again, placing a small ring in his hands before leaving the base. Salen knew that she wasn't coming back.
A few hours later, a taxi appeared a block away from the base and let Lina and Remus out who then moved on towards their home. She was glad for the rest and felt strong enough to deal with regular Signet life, but everything seemed stangely quiet...and even with the new powerful presence in the air it was peaceful.
Was Emit realised already? she thought as they entered the base, bowing lightly after Salen greeted them, "What has happened since we left?"
Salen sighed before rubbing the back of his neck nervously, "To be honest, nothing within the Lotus has gone wrong. Everyone made it back safely and rested for the next Leader's Awakening, but as you can sense, we believe Lord Emit is already among us."
Lina frowned. This didn't bode well, "And what of my family?"
Salen was silent for a long time before finally saying, "Malen left us only a few hours ago and as for Rike, he hasn't come back a all. But they did leave this behind." he then handed her the ring before walking away, giving Remus a polite nod before he did so.

Lina slowly nodded before moving onto thir room, "It is a ring containing a message that only family memers can unlock." she said, oprning the door and setting their stuff down, "We used to used this in the war, but now they are only used for emergency purposes..." she looked at the inside of the ring and blinked as she saw both Malen and Rike's symbol inside of it, "This should explain why Malen and father are not here anymore." she then placed the ring upon her finger and watched as it glowed, producing a very realistic image of Rike. He looked comepletely worn out and was holding the Gemini.
"Dear Lina and Remus, I am sure that by the time you get this that Malen and myself would have long since left, but within this message everything will be clear enough to you. I hope you understand..." he then began to speak of yesterday's events and event showed a small version of the fight between the Scortierians and Malen's 'redeath' at the part of Kaiser's death and Emit's Awakening, Malen appeared next to their father, in the robes said before and looked far more like a Lotus member than ever. She held onto Rike, who was having troube speaking and finished the rest for him.
Once it was done, Malen sighed as Rike left, "I am sorry for all the trouble have caused you, but I must go as well. This place brings out the worst in me and being around you would most likely still cause me anger, so until I can stand to look at myself as well as you, I'll be with father. He won't be coming back, that much I am sure you know. I hope someday maybe I will for him." she then disappeared. The ring stopped glowing once the message was finished.
Lina was left sitting on the bed abit dazed from it all.

"We were gone for only two days and the whole world was in danger, Malen was sent to Hell, my father's best friend was killed saving her and ontop of all of that Emit was Awakened without him falling into the wrong hands..." she took a deep breath before smiling, "I'm perfectly fine."
She was fine for now, but in as an verly large cake entered a room in the new nightclub called Pulse in downtown Signet, the person laying inside t would make sure that fine was he last thing she would feel. The music pumed into the room as a bachelor party went on, male and female dancers entertaining every man invited and those who paid to enter for this was a day to celebrate. Armand, the human boss for a well known crim syndicate was geting married the next day and was known o have pretty eccentric parties.
Two male strippers in police uniforms pushed the cake in the middle of the room where men were encouraging Armand to say the magic words for his 'surprise' break free. He laughe before finally saying to the cake, "Whatever Lola wants..." he trailed off as the top popped open and the most amazing being stoo before him.
It was a man. No...it was a woman. No...It was Lola, the most famous entertainer he had made sure would be in this party after practically ordering his best man to get her...him...[sigh] This was a being with the bluest eyes he had ever seen, long black hair, perfectly tanned skin on an even more perfectly toned body that even though would mae you think it would show if Lola was truly a man or a woman, but it only made things worse.
A pair of full lips formed into a smile as the 'officers' took the cuffs off of Lola's wrists and elped her down like she was a queen, "Lola gets..." Lola replied, pushing him down on the nearest chair and leaning so that they were barely a breath apart, "An little man, little Lola wants you." thier lips nearly met and just as Armand moved in for the kiss, she pulled back and grinned as the rest of the song played on, his pals singing along for they were all gloriously drunk. Lola danced gracefully, her body moving like a snake around him, before moving onto her polive helpers, making the scene as kinky as possible without tearing clothes off before returning to Armand.
By this time, the others were all yelling for Armand to kiss her. With the high from the party [and other not so innocent substances] he had nochoice but to kiss her, which he did.This was going to cost him extra.
Too bad he didn't know how much.
Lola issed him deep, an arm wrapping around his neck as his right handheld his head, slipping lower and lower, the geam of the deadly Senbon Needle only seen by his stripper associates who didn't do a thing about it.
They were all assassins to afterall.
The needle slipped in quickly and as Lola slipped away, his eyes glassed over and his had went back, but he only looked like he passed out to his drunk friends.
"Obviously I'm just too much for him.." Lola said, with a knowing grin hich only made the others cheer, "Now I'm sorry my handsome admirers, but Lola must go. He can't keep her other customers waiting now can he?" he then walked out of the room with the two 'policemen' right beside him. They other assassins could handle his friends.
He sighed as they finally slipped into a nearby limo, changing almost immediately, "Armand was a horrible kisser..." he whined, tossing the thong to one of his partners, who dropped it in disgust, "But atleast he looked good. He even had the honor of kissing the legendary Lola before he died..."
The other partner rolled his eyes before saying, "You use that alias far too much Vajra. You know the Agency doesn't like it. Use ssomething else for once."
"As soon as they find me a big enough diamond as a bribe, I will." the two partners groaned as the limo took off.

Meanwhile, Emit stood in the middle of his room, looking at the large mirror infront of him. He was mildly surprised that the mirror didn't need any magical modifying to accomodate him and alos that there were clothes long enough for them not to look like secondhand on him. And the style of clothing wasn't too bad either. A nice black Armani suit fit him nicely, with small diamond cuffs and even a small cloth in the pocket. The only thing he didn't wear were the shoes. Not even to this day could he get used to wearing shoes.
After a few moments he left the room and knocked upon Merlin's door as the vibrations from the music filled him as it did the first time. He still had to get used to that.

Remus laughed. "I shouldn't expect anything less from you, dear one." He stood up and began unpacking their bags. "What's the next thing on the to do list?"

Lina thought about before saying, "I suppose I should speak to Lord Emit and then after that the Book of the Ten will mot ikely give me the location of the next Leader...other than that there is nothing to do for the moment."

Lina laughed, "That is so true it's almost scary." she then stood up and stretched, "Well, we should begin now." she then held Remus's hand and took them both to the Nocturne. From the message, she knew that Emit would still be there.
