Merlin ignored Kaiser and looked down, "Do you feel that trembling?" She asked anyone and everyone.

Karnac landed quietly on Kaiser's shoulder. His sardonic reply echoed in everyone's mind. "Does anyone not feel the moving ground?"

Karrot began to reach the surface, so he tunneled around underneath the Chamber, solidifying the earth beneath his feet as he pushed with enormous strength upward on the sealed chamber. In moments he pushed it hard enough to break the surface, launching the chamber into the sky and landing it next to the hole with a powerful tremor. Shortly afterward the great stone goliath leaped out and landed next to it, bowing in Merlin's direction with a grinding of stone.
The golden glow intensified as it spoke,
"I have brought forth the one whom you seek. I do as you command"
Karrot kneeled again and bowed his head, the golden light dim now.

Merlin raised her brows, first eyeing her temporary servant then Emit's tomb, "Thank you." She said distractedly and moved towards the tomb. She reached out and touched the edges. Dirt flaked off, "Do you know how to awaken him?" She asked, If you haven't already with all that jolting about, she thought.

Rike looked at the tomb blankly before folding his arms, "Anyone have the power over water here?" If it's anyting like how to wake up Seine, then I'm pretty sure well need a water-user here. Unless Emit wants to be burned up as he Awakens..."

Karrot shook his head and responded with the glow brightening again,
"I know not, for it is not I nor the Earth that put him into his slumber, and as such cannot attempt to bring him out. Also, my crashing and banging would not wake him, because if it could then the natural tremors around here would have awakened him before, and he'd have already... 'burned' as that man said. I doubt an earth elemental would burn though, not if he is coated with sand...."

Kaiser stepped forwards, calling out the power of hell's frozen lakes as he had earlier. The water from the lake nearby swirled upwards in a double helix, before crashing down, slowly eroding away the tomb of Emit.

Merlin disappeared and reappeared next to Rike so she wouldn't be splashed by mud and water, "A bit more warning next time, Kaiser?" She said sweetly. She was anxious for Emit, of the Ten, Emit was her second favorite, not to mention she had an inkling she'd met him before, before she'd become one of the noble dead. She couldn't be sure though and Emit had never said anything.

Rike looked over at Kaiser. He looked more worn than he was and with good reason. With a slightly apologetic glance at Merlin, he moved over towards his friend and placed an arm on his shoulder, "You're wearing yourself thin, even more than usual Kaiser." he replied quietly.

Kaiser's muscles quivered with the effort of the spell. Finally, the tomb was revealed. Kaiser moved forward, almost stumbling at one point. He ran a hand over the stone tomb, releasing the last of the enchantments. "Live Emit.... live well..." Kaiser's voice was barely a whisper.
Kaiser moved away from the open tomb, leaving the leader for someone else. He started back towards the tree, but he didn't make it. Halfway there he stopped, as though trying to keep his balance. Then, as though in slow motion, he toppled backwards. There was a sickening crack as he landed on one of his wings, breaking it.

Merlin moved forward, she spared Kaiser a glance, he did look rather fatigued but then her attention was back on the newly awakened leader. She slid the top off, it was relatively easy with vampire strength.

((you are all insane to stay up this late... I'm going to bed before I consider poking myself in the eye with a sharp object again))
Karrot thudded over to Kaiser, softening the earth below him into a fine sand softer than any fabric cushion.
"I have never seen you in such a state... Lord Kaiser... "

((sorry everyone, will be out for a week... here is how Karrot stays out...)
Karrot suddenly fell to his knees with a crash next to Kaiser, the golden glow dissapearing and leaving him as nothing more than a stone statue, the earth needed that energy for Emit's awakening and would return him when it once again could spare his energy.
