"Vegito, don't hit Jack or so help me, I'll-" She stoped herself and breathed in and out for a moment to calm herself down. "We can't go and beat each other up. Jack was simply saying the truth. I'm sorry to say it, but to say we won't be tortured is most likely a lie. Please understand this There is no point in denying the truth. Yachiru's very strong, she knows what's going on. I highly doubt it'll surprise her more than it will any of us."

Seeing as how Yachiru had tried to cheer him up before (and the fact that his nose wasn't broken), Jack said, "Hey, don't worry, they probably won't see you as much of a threat, and leave you be!" "For a while, at least..." he added, mentally.

"I understand. I too have seen many children die in many ways. It is unfortunate to think they were so young and inoncent, but Yachiru, you are very strong. You will survive this no matter what. We're all here, and I promise we'll al protect you."

((Great. I have to go on a road trip right when something interesting was happening....I blame the school system. Cause it's their fault I have spring break right now.))
Nina looked at the ground, deep in thought, nothing like this had ever really happened in her world, at least nothing where she was so helpless against such a strong force.
Yuta gave Nina a reassuring wink when she looked up briefly, "Just relax, we're good guys. Good guys always win."

Hoping to make Nina laugh, Jack said, "Y'know, I wish you guys would stop saying that... It kinda puts a damper on my hopes for world conquest."

Nina just smiled gently at him, appreciating his effort. She looked down again for a moment, thinking. She opened her computer, but it seemed to be charging- and since it wasn't mechanical it didn't need a plug. She had used it a lot in the past months or however long they had been there, and it was showing on the scratched and beat-up computer. Wanting to be more on the positive side, Nina said, "When we get home, I'm getting a new computer."
