Jack wondered vaguely what Kikyo would say if she saw Chase's true form. He'd probably be called a demon, which, technically, he sort of was.

Jack then started wondering why no one ever considered to ask him about Chase. He had proclaimed the man to be his evil hero; that should be a pretty big hint that Jack knew a lot about the guy.
