Malen screamed as the orb dispered within her, immediately starting cancel out the darkness within her body, like a poison. She pushed Tyr away from her and created a portal nearby to the Anullan realm in a vain attempt to escape, but Monaleth's hand held her back.
Malen looked at her angrily and tried to break free, but she was already weak, the poisonous light filling her very body until all that was left was her body.
Rike knelt down and sighed, holding back a few well earned tears, "Malen..."

"Rike... I shall return in a while... Watch over your daughter's body." Kaiser moved away from him. He lifted his hands in front of them. Gritting his teeth he suddenly forced a claw from his left hand clean through his right palm. The blood dripped black onto the ground. Kaiser calmly sank into his own blood which then followed him into hell.

Tyr, stood up and walked towards the body where Malen stood, her gaze aimed at nothing in particular. Tyr knew she would be like this for a long time, but did nothing about it. It was Unia's way of punishment and it truly was an experience he would wish on no one. He lifted Malen's corpse and set it in front of Rike.
"This is where I must go. Luna will be searching for her Champion and while she is doing so, the Light will be more powerful. Edaja will need me more than ever now." he then walked away from them, giving the spot where Merlin lay one last look before disappearing.

Rike didn't reply as Kaiser left, nor did he react as Malen's body rested infront of him. She looked oddly peaceful in death. There was no trace of anger on her face. Just like when she gave up the lighter...
He looked away from her only to return to her dead gaze once again. Malen...

Merlin was covered in dust. She shook herself and patted herself off but realized the dress was ruined and she'd need a bath. She let it go for now, there were more important things to do. She eyed the....golem in front of her, that's what he appeared to be anyway. The Earth wasn't kidding, she thought as the monstrocity kneeled before her. She let him wait a moment and looked around, Tyr and C'age were nowhere in sight, Monaleth felt different in her head, Rike was hunched over a seemingly lifeless Malen. I've missed a lot, she thought but then her attention returned to the servant before her, "I need you to find Emit, find where he slumbers and bring him here to be awakened." She said to the one kneeling before her.
Obsidian felt a weight she hadn't been aware of suddenly lift and her muscles loosened and she sagged against Seth with a relieved sigh.

Keira mumbled a little before diving farther into the water, a slight feeling told her that things were done up above. When she glanced up she noticed that thing was gone. She closed her eyes hoping it was because something good happened on top. She swam upwards until she breached the top of the water and paddle over to the hard surface and pushing herself upwards. 'C'age?' Now to see if he would respond.

"He's gone Keira. Trapped in the nineth circle." Kaiser's voice echoed in Kiera's mind. It sounded distant, tired, and perhaps a little strained. "Rike needs your aid... I'll be there shortly."

'C'age...' Keira sent once more, there was still a chance. She sighed listening to Kaisers words, defeated that easily. She mentally nodded before making her way to the group. She looked over at Rike and then made her way to him, "You okay?"

Rike looked up blankly before giving a nod that clearly meant the opposite of fine. Rike never just nodded and usually held your ears for ransom as he talked, but now...
He nodded once again before looking back at Malen's corpse.
Meanwhile, Malen's spirit had just materialized in Hell, exactly where C'age had stood before he was taken away. She looked around quietly before she felt herself moving deeper into the depths with Saia and Cain appearing at her sides. They were in their true forms as before, but didn't hold her back as they did with C'age for she was not condemened to stay in Hell...not until Luna gave her judgement.

"Is she going to be alright?" Keira said now getting a little worried. If Malen was going to be brought back Rike should be a little happier, but he was just... there. What had happened while she was gone?

Kaiser landed in front of the reapers. "Leave her... She comes with me. It is not yet her time." He lifted one hand, slowly drawing her spirit toward him.

Monaleth merely sat in one place, crumpled like a used doll although within the shell of her body, her mind was barely hanging on, forcing the limbs to move only for a second so she oculd stay conscious for she kenw that once she could move nor more she would have to face her creator once more. Unia, the goddess of Balance and Neutrality.
Her loose grip upon the silver dagger tightened for only a few seconds before her fingers didn't function anymore, her purple eyes clouding over until a warm grey mist covered her mind. No! she cried before she was shoved into her subconscious where Unia ruled. In the real world, her all light within her dimmed to nothing and she was almost as lifeless as Malen, save for the slow breathing of one who was in a coma.
You have finally come back to me... a voice said softly as a being appeared infront of her, neither male nor female. Monaleth bowed low infront of a grey statue that appeared and looked away from the horrific beauty that she knew was there. It would drive men and women crazy and it was only one of the forms Unia would take. Why did you leave? Did I not give you a choice to be my Champion? Did I not give you the freedom those of the Light or Darkness will never have? Why do wish me to make an example of you?
Monaleth felt waves of anger and sadness wash over her body and splash loudly against the wall sof her mind, but still she continued to bow low and stay in her place. I am not fit to bear the Scales of Neutrality anymore. she said quietly before raising her voice, I have loved and chose many sides, many from the Light and from the Darkness. I have killed out of revenge and honor. Not out of justice or taking heed of what sides must sacrifice for balace to be made. I even chose to fight in a war neither side could ever win. she said, holding back the feeling of sadness as she thought about her dead lover.
And so willingly become a vampire leading a life of death in disgrace? There was silence as Monaleth saw the shadow of the statue move and the loud cracking of stone bounced around the room. She knew then that Unia would be coming towards her to give her a true trial, one that would decide her fate. She felt the cold stone fingers grip her chin and slowly lift her gaze into a void of grey, Then let those Scales bear your weight and see how well you will serve me now... Monaleth's mouth open a silent scream in the real world as her mind was sucked into the void of grey.

"Her screams tore a hole in my heart," Rike said in a severely drained voice, "It burned her from the inside out..." he said after another moment, looking at the fading colors of her robes, "And then Kaiser came and blocked it all from me. The screams, the burning smell...all of it. I should be thankful, but all I feel is pain. I should be happy, but all I feel is sadness." That didn't answer her question, but he didn't care at the moment.
"Has Luna decided to let her redeem herself then?" they asked in one voice. They had yet to hear anything about her fate from even Death itself. And he was never late without a reason.

Merlin's body jerked and she whipped around to see Mona lying on the ground now. She felt a constriction in her chest. She glanced back at the golem, she'd given it the desired task now she moved quickly to Monaleth and craddled her head in her lap, "Mona!" She stroked her cheek. There was no response so Merlin dove in. There was nothing but grey here, MONA!
