dragon_fire_313 Rosette laughed, patting her friend's back as she did so. "Mm, it's probably just like...you're only 16 and you're already engaged. I don't know, I haven't been here enough too long to get everyone's back story...but like, for myself at least, I'm saving myself for marriage, that's what I told Alucard and he respects me for that.." She told her as a soft, rosy blush spread across her her cheeks. "We've even talked of a married life after all this..."Lum looked around for a moment before she floated next to her friend. "Okay, here's the course. It's whoever can get from hear to that cloud all the way over there, about...mmm, 500 yards? Round it, then the first to touch the mast wins! Okay Starfire?" She asked her as she too got into position.

"Hah, my guess is either on the bridge or in the captain's quarters. Maybe both!" the demon girl replied, a wicked grin on her own face.

((ok idk if i used this picture but im sure some of you remember the battle ships in the picture, its the only ones i can find that look combat deadly and stuff so sorry XD if only .... Oooo IKNOW!!but that ones for later! )) Inuyasha held on to Temari "Dont worry, we can handle it... I suggest we all get ready for an attack.... Jack, perhaps you should steer the ship. and a few of us should get ready to use the cannons on this ship" a few of us should remain here incase we get boarded"
Miroku looked over to Ai "Come on lets go before its too late"The ships came out from behind the clouds. and approched the heavily armored and gunned ship the group was in.

Starfire watched as a ship made its way through the cloud they were supposed to race to and rubbed her neck, turning to Lum. "What do we do if the cloud we are to race to gets destroyed?"

Temari stared up at him as she continued to hug him tightly. "Just...be careful dear...okay?" She whispered to him as she kissed him quickly on the lips before she pulled back, flashing him a weak smile before she looked back to the ships, which were rapidly approaching them by the moment. "We'd better hurry then..." She noted as she placed her hand on her stomach, slightly anxious now.
"Hm, well...I'm only a year older than you, and I'm still technically considered a 'teenager' back on Earth, in my time at least..." Rosette said before she placed a hand on her friend's shoulder, smiling sweetly at the younger girl. "But don't worry Marta. If you really love Emil, marry him. Heck! Have a kid or two or five for all I care! Just do whatever you want...but still be careful..."
Lum smiled at Starfire, laughing lightly before she looked out and saw the battleships emerge from the clouds beyond them. "Oh my..." She began as she stared at them wide-eyes. "Looks like we'll have to continue our race another time Star...sorry..." She said with a shrug before she took her friend's hand and led her down to the rest of the group, who were all preparing for the attack.

Jack headed to the control room, mentally calculating the oncoming ships as he went. "What, there's not even a hundred ships out there! Don't they know who we are?" he wondered, strangely insulted that the enemy wasn't doing everything they could to take the group out. After getting into the room, he grinned at all the controls laid out before him. "Yeah... This is gonna be fun."
Kain decided he would be one of the ones that stayed put in case they were boarded. Well, and perhaps, if one of the other ships got within range, he'd do a little boarding of his own...

(( I went out at 1:30 central so I already passed midnight... ))
Roy turned to face the boats and ran over to the front of the ship. "More?" He asked as he pointed his fingers at one boat and waited to attack.
Mao smiled to Robin before he felt a different scent outside of the boat. "That can't be good." He muttered as he turned to face the door.

Hitomi soon ran up to Marta and Rosette, panting softly. "Hey! Guys!" She shouted as she held onto her knees while in a slouched over position. "There's an armada of battleships heading our way!"
"Oh my Lord..." Rosette said as she looked to her right, off of the port bow and her eyes immediately widened. She just stared from the large ships to their large cannons then to the two girls who were in front of her. "Heh, well considering who's in our group...I think we got a lot of fire power on our side as well!" She exclaimed, beaming slightly as she ran to one of the gunners, loading it quickly before she took aim. Guns were kind of her specialty, she could aim and shoot like a beast, but even during those times, she still acts like somewhat of a hot-head.
Hitomi nodded to Rosette, watching her take up a gunner before looking back to Marta and taking her hand, running her out of the way of the enemy's immediate range of fire. "Come on! Let's see if we can help load this place up before they decide to open fire first!" She called back to her friend with a smile, but really, she was practically scared out of her mind.
