"Odyn... for the last time. I was not shot by centaurs. I fell, off my horse, broke my leg and got a concussion on a rock, and I am fine." She was eternally thankful for the blankets pulled up over her legs, and she trusted Odyn's blockheadedness and her flowing white shirt to keep her gender identity a secret.
Odyn sighed. Everyone was talking about it, but he supposed Mariye herself would know best... he was just eternally thankful that she was okay. "I was really worried," he said, turning her hand over in his. Her hands were bigger than his. He'd never noticed before... probably something to do with her peasant upbringing. "Oh... it's dinner time..." he hadn't noticed the time passing at all. "Would you like me to brig you something to eat?"
"No, that's fine," she murmured, gently squeezing Odyn's hand. "You go and eat. I'm going back to sleep... it's been a trying day."
He nodded vigorously. "I'll be back later. If you need anything, anything at all...!"
She smiled at him, her blue eyes full of emotion. "I will let you know."

Silaqui looked up at Akakage and scowled. In her long life, she's been many things - but never a close-combat duelist. Well, she'd make it painfully clear that while he might have won this round, he wasn't any better than her. No. That much was clear.
She stabbed her eggs and tried to pretend that he wasn't good-looking, either.

Seeing the scowl on her face he assumed she was a little sore from there spar. "You shouldn't look at me like that, you might fall in love." giving Silaqui a wink.
At that moment a messenger came rushing through the doors of the mess hall and straight to Akakage. Handing him a letter he quickly left the school.
Akakage holding the letter in his hand quickly stood up and teleported to his class.
The letter stated, "Akakage, you brat. I don't want to ask you but your expertise is needed here. You have no choice but to go. Signed Horatus."
"Damn that old man." Quickly writing a message he teleported to Silver's room and left the note on her desk.
That message said, "Looks like old man Horatus needs my help. If you can take charge of my class for me until I get back. Also tell Namen she can keep watch for Teme until I get back. Much appreciated. Akakage."
After he finished his preparations he quickly teleported to the city.
((Just making some sort of plot to explain that I'll be gone for about 2 days and Maledictio_Angelus pm me that she won't be back until Tuesday. I hope you guys won't miss me too much.))

Silaqui blushed, and she was glad that he suddenly teleported away. I don't blush, she growled to herself, and abruptly stood up from the table. She still had a lesson to prepare, something about Psychology, whatever that meant.

((Geez, the first day isn't over yet and look at all the stuff that's going on already O.o))
Silver was walking through the halls at the moment, looking for Akakage. She had a few choice words she wanted to have with him. Again. And this time, he wasn't going to get out of it.
As she walked past the infirmary, she heard the conversation between Mariye and Odyn. She halted as she overheard the words "shot by centaurs".
Centaurs? Here? Centaurs don't travel this far from their lands without good reason. Did they come because of Nyx?
She walked into the infirmary, seeing Mariye on the bed with her leg bandaged. She looked rather surprised.
"Mariye, what happened here?"

Luckily, she wasn't asleep yet. "Nothing! Everyone seems to think I got shot by a centaur, which is wrong!! I was riding my horse, Nyx was there, and Archana got spooked and I fell off. I broke my leg, and got a concussion, and there were no centaurs involved! Except Nyx." She was getting a little tired of saying it, and her voice sounded low and rough with tiredness. She sighed heavily.

((I know, this first day is one to remember! If all the days are described in this much detail, there'll be millions of posts!))
Nyx was startled to hers those words coming out of Ailins mouth. She had suspected something of the sort, but not so soon. Seeing her expression, Ailin gave her a warm smile, "The war between Konalter and Ninden has never affected us and our decisions, why should we start now?"
Nyx saw his logic, centaurs had never cared about nor affected the politics of the country they lived in. Really, they lived in their own forested world, secluded from the rest of the world. Until now.
Nyx felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand up, she had the feeling they were being watched. Excusing herself from Ailins company, she lifted the tent flap and stepped outside.

"And why is it that everyone seems to think centaurs were involved then?" Silver walked toward Mariye as she spoke, placing a hand on top of the student's head and taking a mental observation of Mariye´s condition.

((I won't be online tomorrow, and I'm not sure about the rest of the month. I'm going on vacation tomorrow, so I'll only be able to post sporadically. And, starting Wednesday, I'll be gone for a week to a land with no internet connection. I'll be going... Camping. Hope you all understand.
and @ CantiNaota - Are the pole things supposed to hit Nyx or not, because you said it would startle the centaur in you last post?))

"How should I know... I was unconcious." There was definitely something odd about Mariy'e voice it sounded a LOT lower. Her eyes blinked blearily; it was clear she was very tired.
[[ Hm, maybe you should have Nyx stay with the centaurs for a bit? The whole rumors-sweeping-the-school thing could very well cause them to retreat far, far back into the woods. And take Nyx with them for a time. ]]
