"If you think that your current power will save you," he began, lowering the blade to Jack's chest, "Think again."

As he said this, he pushed forward quickly, in an attempt to stab deep into Jack's chest.

Princess Sakura sung a song and lulled Jack to sleep. Her voice sounded so pure and so perfect. It reminded her of her lost ssiter, Sara. Seira, sara, and Sakura were all sisters.

This freakish white being that Tai had become let out a horrible cry of pain as the song hit his ears. Inside, Tai finally struck down the opposing side of himself, causing the appearnce of the outer body to change again. As the being cried out, the mask cracked and an arm spout blood as it burst open. It dropped the Dragon Katana and the yellow irises of its eyes narrowed as it lost its life to Tai's will to survive and protect the princess. Limbs fell to the ground and shattered upon contact with the mountain. A violent explosion occured where Tai was standing, and, as the dust settled, there he stood, the controled mask upon his face once again. Falling to his knees he muttered his apologies for not only disobeying Princess Sakura, but letting his intent to kill Jack overcome him.

"Princess Sakura," he struggled to say, "Please, forgive me."

With that he fell flat on his face, the mask falling off easilly, and was unconcious.

The wounds healed easilly, thanks to Princess Sakura's spell. Tai would have been alright anyway, so long as he got medical attention before long, as he had only passed out. However, spiritually, he might not be able to recover, having destroyed his other half, which longed for battle so eagerly that it attack him. If he ever did fully recover, he would sure never be able to reach that level of power again if anything short of a miracle happened. The Dragon Katana had been put through so much that the energy which had flown through it made the blade crack and it eventually snapped in two about half way up the blade from the hilt.

"You'll have to kill me first, I won't let that happen." Ark said moving out of his spot by the rock.

((So far behind. Sorry for not being on. I just had my first week of school.))

Hikari looked at Jack alittle confused and asked,"Why do you NEED her blood? Why is it so important?"

"I'm glad you asked, the reason why involves my mask. With three samples of blood, one from Sakura, one from a differnt race, and one from a human I can never be banished back into the damned mask!"

Jack wrapped his tail around Tai and lifted him up into the air. "Once I have a smaple of her blood, I can finally begin the destruction of this mortal world!" Jack laughed as he grew closer to Sakura step by step.
