Within the next half hour, Kei had caught the other two and drained their poison as well. The vile was almost full and the sun was rising. As careful as usual, she made sure she was heading in the correct direction before going back. The sun was halfway above the horizon when she returned to the medic nin. She gently placed the vile back in his pocket and got rid of her clone, taking its place. She was extremely tired...but she couldn't sleep. Not ubtil she got him back to the village...

Kisoku slept without turning or curling up, as he was prone to doing when he slept. He didn't dream, which wasn't a rarity, but instead slept as soundly as a tiny babe. A bad reference, to be sure, but his conscious mind wasn't aware of the fact. When the sun finally rose, he didn't wake with it as he usually did. He didn't realize how exhausted he had been, and so, also was unaware that it was nearly noon before he sat up unsteadily. Another rarity, but it was apparently the season for them.

kei heard him wake and turned to greet him. "Good afternoon, did you sleep well?" She was tired as well, but she didn't let it show... as soon as she could find a place to sleep... like a tree... she would be out cold...

Kisoku rubbed the heel of his hand harshly into his eyes, needing to wake up. He looked at Kei out of the corner of his eye, noticing the dark, bruised bags on her face. Hadn't she slept? He muttered about mornings while his mind scolded her, calling her three types of fool. Didn't she know that, if she hadn't even allowed herself to doze, she could've been in serious danger if a rogue ninja wandered upon them?
He sent her a fierce stare. "You are sleeping, right now, and no arguing." He turned to check his wound, making sure that there wasn't the beginnings of an infection. If she didn't do as she was told, Kisoku resolved that he would tie her down and force a few sedatives down her throat.

Kei shrank a few feet as his glare pierced her... She didn't know what to do... he was still injured. "But I can't... not now... You need to get to the hospital first... I can sleep later..." At least he hasn't figured out what I was doing all night...

Kisoku sent her a venomous glare- he never was a morning person. His wounds didn't help, either, since they were still throbbing, but they didn't look worse for wear. "Look, girlie, you can either fall asleep on your lonesome, or you can get a truckload of anesthetics shot straight into your vein. You choose."

Kei was scared now. If she chose to run... would he catch her...? He was still weak... but he was also a rank higher. To top that off... she was deathly afraid of needles... and it showed when he threatened her. How was she supposed to fall asleep with something like that on her mind...? It was ridiculous. An she didn't have the guts to stick up for herself either... She was trapped... She had scooted several feet away from him already... shaking, trembling, what ever you want to call it... She didn't know what to do...

Kisoku stared flatly at her, watching her scoot away. "If you run and I have to catch you I will be royally pissed. Don't try me." With that, he turned his attentions to re-bandaging his arm.

Kei looked at him hopelessly. " I wish you wouldn't threaten me... with all that on my mind... I don't know if I could sleep, at least not right away... and... I would really appreciate it if you kept needles away from me..." She was still shaking... Who said he would have to chase me...? I didn't... and why would it matter anyways...? She just curled up by a large rock and stared at him. She was still sitting upright with her arms tightened around her legs...

Kisoku finished tying his makeshift bandage, and said, "I won't touch you if you relax and even fake sleeping for a while. But you need it, and I'm perfectly awake right now."

Kei looked at him. She was still scared. "You promise you wont touch me...?" She would trust him too... thats just how she was... She partially hated herself for it too...

Kei nodded and tried claming down her heart beat. With her arms still wrapped around her knees she laid her head on them, curling herself into a ball. Taking deep breaths she closed her eyes. Bit by bit her body started to relax. She was halfway asleep when she woke to a strange sound. Looking up, she paused. Straining to her it again. When it happened she realized it was her stomach. She skipped luch and dinner yesterday and breakfast this morning... she was hungry...She put her head back down in another attempt to sleep again.

Kisoku heard Kei's stomach let out an angry growl, and completely ignored it. She needed sleep, not food at the moment. Kisoku himself was hungry as well, but he didn't have any food and was sure she didn't either. He hadn't planned on being out for so long. Still, there were things he could do, so with his back to the needle-phobia ninja, he began sharpening his steel senbon. He would keep his word, but he did need to take care of these.
