Lucifer Lord of Torment is anyone other than the people i talked to even interested in interacting with avonlea? because, so far, no one's approached her outside planned encounters. actually, even the planned encounters haven't worked out. is she unapproachable? is that the problem?
also, having serious motivation problems right now. someone post for me! crying can i just make one massive post to include all the games? i don't think i can manage five posts today. Where is she?

I'm sorry ^^;; I don't know Avonlea well enough to say anything on that, but I know some people are too afraid to approach people without it being pre planned. I'm sorry about that, though. And I'm sorry, but games need to be one per post :c The prize's cost was determined not only by how tickets would be earned, but by the amount of posts someone would have to do, on average, to get them-- ie, the amount of work, as well as their luck, that would be combined to get the prizes. So we really need to stick to the one game per post rule :c If you're having trouble with motivation, maybe you could get some help brain storming?

right now? she's on one island. just...standing at the pokémon center like a dunce. well, then.... i'd like to not be the only one making plans. crush crush's invite was a great change. even though he seems to not have any interest, which is understable, i guess.
yet another difficult rule to accept. i think i'll just have avonlea leave. it's starting to become too much of a hassle. not everyone can manage five posts a day. also, the once a day rule is crap. it makes it even harder to post because there's nothing to do afterwards. anyway, i don't see how brainstorming is going to help. it's not the lack of ideas that's messing with me.

It would appear Shadow Dragon is making an effort, so I'm not really sure what to say about any of that. Plus I haven't been following the discussions with other members. Hmm... I'm not sure I really follow since a few of those seem to conflict, but it's entirely your choice. We made the rules as we saw fair, and we discussed it quite a bit. I'm sorry you disagree, but that's how it is. If you'd like us to reconsider in the future, you're more than welcome to discuss that with the other members, and move the suggestion to a vote for future events, as always.

Hey, so I haven't been paying the closest of attention and don't know exactly what you've been dealing with trying to rp, but it's rather negative to come to the ooc with the kind of mindset you have right now, it certainly feels like an attack on others (whether they deserve it or not). Don't sell yourself short- Avonlea is a great character, from what I've read of her. Sometimes people (myself included) can be a bit self-absorbed at events, especially ones like this one where the focus is on doing 5 posts a day (if you can). If others aren't pushing for interaction, it might just mean they're doing their own thing. I don't know if you've tried initiating talks yourself, but that's always a way to go whether it be via pm or in-rp. And its extremely negative and rude to call the completely fair rules the mods have come up with "crap". Please don't treat other people so rudely when they've put so much time and effort into putting together an event for us all to enjoy. It's certainly fine to take issue and seek a middle ground, but it feels like you're just outright attacking the crew for not bending completely to what you want, which is not very constructive.

she could. but, then i'd lose my crystal shard count. not that it's very high.... i see that.
how does it conflict? i can easily whip up five posts, but they'll all be horrible. my main problem is there's nothing to do after. i put out five posts and then get off to sleep, eat, and watch youtube. where did i attack anyone? the way i see it, i'm not attacking anyone. i didn't call anyone a b***h or an idiot or anything like that. what i'm doing is expressing my problems with the current issues. sure, i'm being a jerk about it, but hey. whatever gets the point across. so, here i am. anti-hero mode activated.
oh, i know she's a great character. even if she's a drakengard 3 inspired rip-off. however, how does that help with my interaction problem...? if the problem is just people being self-centered/self-absorbed, then maybe it would be best to leave the festival. yeah, i have. in fact, all interactions she had were all iniated by me/her. except sable.... i think she was sythril's invite?
it's not all about what i want. i can live with it....if there was a reason to. i'm not the only one who posts five times a day and leaves. so, i can't be the only one with an issue with this. anyway, i don't see what's "fair" or "unfair" about the games being played as much as the members want them to be played. explain to me?

Shadow - Dragon Are there shard counts on the island? I thought it was only specific cities? No, no. He means Crystal Shards. The thing that makes Pokémon shiny. Not Star Shards.

Shadow - Dragon Are there shard counts on the island? I thought it was only specific cities? no no no. They are talking about the crystal shard, which is the recoloring item. The star shards are different and in specific cities. EDIT: pffft. cedric beat me to it! XD nice going cedric.

I'm not trying to nitpick, but the conflict comes from saying that you have plenty of ideas but there's nothing to do. Especially when there's plenty to do. It's an entire festival. I don't mean to be rude, but it's not our job to give you things to rp out; we're providing opportunities to earn items, and a possible source of inspiration, one I've seen many people take full advantage of, but it's up to you to draw from that. There are games, there can be performances, food, people to bump into, things to do, sites on the island to explore, all sorts of different aspects that have either been mentioned, or can be deduced given the setting. And to get back to the point, allowing you to cram all the games into one post wouldn't change that. So I'm not sure why it's even a point of contention in the first place. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to argue... but I'm sincerely confused on where the problem is, when you're throwing so many different lamentations from so many different angles. It just sounds like you're just trying to complain-- I'm not saying you are, but... it does feel like that, especially when you quite literally call things you disagree with 'crap'. And I'm sorry, I know it wasn't directed at me, but Starlight doesn't need to explain, it's not her job, and she is right. You are attacking us. You're insulting the things we've done, you're arguing and dismissing a lot of our points, or just finding problems with it. We understand that you don't agree-- but there's no need to insult what we've done. You dont' have to call some one a name in order to insult them, and constant complaining seriously brings down the mood of the ooc. In fact, it's one of the things we made this guild to get away from. Arguing, or complaining, or insulting in the ooc... People are allowed their bad days... but when you insult our rules, and our events, you're not only insulting the time we put into it, you're insulting our perspectives, and those of all the people that do agree with our rules, and that are enjoying the event. We've had people mentioned being bothered by this before, not just on this event, but on previous instances as well, and I'm going to be honest with you-- it's starting to encroach upon our common curtesy rule. This is a warning. Insulting our work, and 'being a jerk about it', is not common curtesy. And being a jerk hurts any point you're trying to make far more than trying to be courteous about it. As an added note, perhaps if you had politely asked for an explanation on the rules, there would be a better understanding-- but you've came out swinging and saying you just disagree with all of them. Despite me mentioning that we thought it was fair, you still haven't asked for an explanation. And here is our explanation: We wanted to make it so that people who had endless time in the world wouldn't get so many tickets that they could 6++ event items, because those are supposed to be rare, and we want to keep them at least somewhat regulated. So we needed to limit the amount of games that could be played, and/or how often they could be played, because raising the ticket price for those items, just because some might have the time, would be unfair for the people who don't have the time... or inspiration... to write that many posts. However, we want to allow people to post, and so there are items that they can still get at the same time, if they want to rp but have already played their games. That way, they have options on how to strategize their posting, and can go to various islands to get the items they want, depending on how much time they have available. Now, if you disagree.. I'm happy to discuss it. At some point, there may be a matter of "We simply have different perspectives", but I'd rather come to a point of understanding, and discussing it first, rather than having the hours Spectral spent writing these out, and the several discussions we all had, insulted right off the bat.
