Gideon Commando I think there was actually a Deidara clan, but I don't think it was ever updated to the current system. Huh. well then, that would have been a good thing. Well I"m going to eat dinner and muddle with my profile some more. I'm feeling very, well, lacking enthusiasm towards anything lately so it will probably take awhile to finish it, hope that's okay.

darklord_avalon Gideon Commando As for the system it really only comes into play in combat, and other such missions. I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'dictates every action', could you enlighten me on that? I mean that in an entirely sincere way haha, I've certainly never felt restricted by it. Well, that was.. interesting. and don't forget the academy, its all over the academy. So, I don't know if I have posted in here yet even once, I know my posts in chatter box were ignored, no I'm not putting that on anyone, I've just been feeling like that lately. Quite depressed. Anyway I read what went down, and I am pretty sure nothing else needs said. So, I want to ask a question if the dust has settled enough ^.^ I want a character with a focus on fire and explosives, kinda sorta like Deidara + Uchiha if that makes sense. I wanna make bombs and breathe fire. Is there a bloodline that would be good for this? Also I'm not looking for doujutsu just fire only reason I said uchiha. Well, in regard to it being all over the academy, it's just the training and exams part, which for many is all there is, but there are some that, as students, just chill and have conversations with other RPCs without the need for rolling. I suppose it depends on what people like to do... and for why rolling is used for most actions, the system is based off of D&D (which is an awesome game, particularly it's Pathfinder variant >w<) As for a character that focuses on fire and explosives, you don't need a bloodline to make it happen. ^_^ To be honest, in this guild it's an extremely rare thing to have a character that is from no clan, but a clan-less character has the ability to be very flexible when it comes to what a person may want. You want a focus on fire, that can be your starting affinity and it's up to you if you want any other affinity for your character. You want to be a creator of mighty and miraculous explosives, you can make your character an excellent craftsman in that sense, and just get your many kinds of explosives approved. I hate DnD for only one reason, dice... all dice HATE me. dunno why. digital dice or analog dice it will give me a bad number just to spite me.
That aside DnD is fun.
Then I think I will remain clanless as I have already started making it.
and crafting. hm... Well I wanted to be able to have diedara style bombs, ya know, non consumables so that I dont need to worry about running out all the time. =P

(No clue how one would do that, but it just popped into my head having a little ball of fire-affinity chakra in your hand, chucking it, and then BOOM!)

Word. And I'm glad to see you around Aruil. The years roll on but the guild sure doesn't, ne? Some days I swear we are getting too old for this... --- Darklord, I wouldn't have ignored you had I been around then. :c I came back on Tai's request because the one thing I wouldn't have is Konoha becoming disorder. Antonio has been nothing close to polite to the Kage I chose in my stead, and that is unacceptable. At the moment, I cannot say I can talk to you like a close friend yet. Please allow me some time to shed the formal speech and then perhaps there will come a time I can talk to you like I do with Mini. XD But I cede where I am clearly wrong. My expectation with group guild movements goes simply as when the leader is that hostile to the existing hierarchy, it never ends in settlement. There will be conflicts between ideals that simply cannot be resolved. Your choice to stay however also means my foresight to the conclusion is not all that conclusive. To the others from Antonio's guild whom chose to stay, you are welcome to stay. We don't demand fealty and I won't hold a grudge on you simply based from the fact that you are associated with him. I am not interested in diplomacy with Antonio, because he and two others have been rude to a senior member of mine. In blatant public face, on the Chatterbox no less. If you recall Cleric Saphire's request for profile pics per RP post made, the response to her I believe was personally insulting. Therefore my immediate dislike fell only upon three people, and I am not sorry at all to see two of them go. However, I understand perfectly the complexities of fealty and will not find it a loss if you choose to leave.

I never get the rolls I need when I need them. I still remember when Shin back in Iwa made a roll to pass a code message by body language to Gig-sensei. Of course I roll a 20. =w= That was the first time I hated the auto-success clause. Gig couldn't understand what I was trying to signal as he did not pass the Sense Motive check with the auto-success rule. GG When the system's loophole gets you in a bind.

So last time I saw the three people post right below me, and decided to take a couple days off to try and calm myself and act civil next time when I met them without blowing my head off wiht rude, unhelpful behavior less I turn like them, and look what happened xD
I must say, I apologize for being the spark of this whole incident, and really, if anyone has a problem, please do tell. I don't bite and I try not to be rude when someone tells me I should fix something. I will gladly fix my color font as long as it's not in rude language, which I'm quite upset that it had to happen in the first place.
That said, I'm going to take some time off from Gaia and come back when I feel a bit better, with your leave. I realize that rp has moved on for quite a while, and I will catch up when I can. I also have a secondary reason, which is that my computer is broken and I won't have it back for quite a while. Please, feel free to use my character as an NPC or control it's actions within a general boundery if you need to do so. Thanks everyone, and I apologize in advance for my absence.

It is a shame to see what transpired here. As a crew member in NFS i feel i should defend my team mates, but doing so will cause the majority of you to say i'm being rude no matter how civil i try to be, and i would like to abide by your wishes to keep the chatterbox free of negativity.
But before i go i do have a few things i want to say:
Nura Tai - Thank you for being so hospitable to us NFS'ers when we first joined. You made the experience very smooth and the character creation process taught me a few more things i needed to become the writer i aspire to be.
Armads the Doom Bringer - Saying that people from my guild are not amicable might cause you to lose yet another member. Ava and Zavits are like two peas in a pod.
ProtoXtreme - I'm not gonna sugarcoat that things were said rudely. However, you could have been more civil in the way you spoke and handled the situation.
That's all folks. It was real while it lasted.

ProtoXtreme @Mini - What? Genghis Khan? I had a kid back in grade school who said she was descended from that Pizaro, but really, that's pretty cool if it's true. O_O The torture on the other hand... World's most prolific rapist = about 35 million people with his DNA. So it's a possibility it's true, but I'm not sure why you would bring that up when the class discussion was about culture centers around the world? But yeah... he seemed way too enthusiastic about his torture fetish that my classes start feeling super uncomfortable.
