Slightly revised version of the previously posted list, Rough Riders are a tad hard to get right now, so I'm stuck with a 65 point hole I need plugged with something that's not expensive, easy to get and not too silly. I could get another scout sentinel with autocannon, or I don't know. Suggestions are welcome.
Lord Commissar - Bolt pistol, power weapon, carapace armour and melta bombs (95 pts)
Ratlings x5 (50 pts)
Veterans - Shotguns, 3x Meltagun, carapace armour (130) Chimera - Multi-laser and heavy bolter (55)

Scout Sentinels x2 - 2x autocannon (80)
Leman Russ Exterminator - Heavy bolter sponsons (170)

Total: 935 pts

Okay, been working like mad on my mechanized Guard list, slight snag: One of the Sentinels is missing legs. At first I was thinking about dropping both of them along with the Ratlings in favour of a Hellhound, but then I got thinking, what if I just dropped the one Sentinel sans jambes (-40) and toss in both a Hellhound with heavy bolter (+130) and a stock Manticore (+160) and elevate the list to a nice and slightly more imposing 1250 points.
So, for the big 1250 it will look a little something like this:
Lord Commissar - Bolt pistol, power weapon, carapace armour and melta bombs (95 pts)
Ratlings x5 (50 pts)
Veterans - Shotguns, 3x Meltagun, carapace armour (130) Chimera - Multi-laser and heavy bolter (55)
Veterans - Shotguns, 3x Meltagun, carapace armour (130) Chimera - Multi-laser and heavy bolter (55)
Scout Sentinel - Autocannon (40)
Rough Riders (5) - Power sword (65)
Hellhound - Hull-mounted heavy bolter (130)
Leman Russ Exterminator - Heavy bolter sponsons (170)
Leman Russ Exterminator - Heavy bolter sponsons (170)
Manticore - Hull-mounted heavy bolter (160)
Total: 1250
Six tanks, one walker, five Rough Riders, five snipers and twenty-one models with a 4+ armour save. Perhaps a bit too cheesy?

Lt. Brookman Perhaps a bit too cheesy? Its their own fault for not letting you play the army you wanted to field yourself. RAPE THEM ALL WITH TANKS. emotion_donotwant

Revised list for the 600pt doubles tourney. Swapped the kraks in the infantry squads for HK missiles on the Chimeras. Keeping the missile launcher because it's more Tallarn-y and it provides another anti-tank option if the HKs miss.

***TROOPS***

I've been working on a 1500 point list of eldar to play my friend. Tell me what you think.
spiritseer 70pt
dire avengers x8 in a wave serpent w/ scatter lasers, shuriken cannon, and holofields 249pt
dire avengers x8 in a wave serpent w/ scatter lasers, shuriken cannon, and holofields 249pt
dire avengers x5 in a falcon w/ scatter lasers, and holofields 215pt
windrider jetbikers x6 w/ 2 shuriken cannons 122pt
wraithguard x5 in a wave serpent w/ scatter lasers, shuriken cannon, and holofields 305pt
wraithlord w/ ghostglaive and star cannon 145pt
wraithlord w/ ghostglaive and star cannon 145pt
Gives me 5 troop choices. 2 monsters that can win in assault, and be bullet sponges. And a ton of anti-infantry. It doesn't directly have any anti-air, but the twin linked scatter lasers give my army a good shot and putting some holes in flyers if i face any. And the wraithguard can destroy any armor and be tough enough to take some hits back. I wish I could of fit some hawks or spiders in the list. I would have to give up a troop or a wraithlord to do it though.

I like the consistent use of transports and emphasis on troop choices, but I worry that you're lacking in any serious anti-tank firepower. I'd consider swapping the Starcannons on your Wraithlords with Bright Lances and use them to specifically target vehicles.

Wave serpent defenses went way above my expectations.

It really through my opponent off guard. Having ignores cover, really tore through units that depend on cover to survive.... I think my next list i make will either involve a more aspect heavy army or a wraith heavy army testing out vectored engines

Lt. Brookman Going up against Huron again today Much better list against heavy infantry, the plasma instead of melta was probably a good choice, with all the extra shots. Nork and the Grey Knights will help out loads with assaults. I think you'll have a much better shot this time!
