Frank looked over at Euri and was very scared. His friend looked so much different than what he was used to. Looked so much scarier than he was used to. Now he deffinately had to be more careful when the two of them were goofing around. That tail looked as though it was going to set him on fire the moment he walked in it's radius. It didn't stop Euri from going over to him and picking him up in a big hug. Frank felt a bit of jealousy. He wanted to be bigger. When Euri put him down he walked over to Isabelle and just pouted.
"Star! st-st-starly." He said to Isabelle. He pointed in the direction of Euri. "Starly?"
Isabelle looked down at the little bird slightly confused as to what he meant, then it clued it. "Oh! You want to get bigger like Euri did?"
"Star star." Frank nodded.
"We can get you there if you want. In fact, I think you would make an excellent Staravia. We need you to get a bit more experience first. We're going to have to find somethings for you to battle the way that Euri and Sweetness did." She explained to the pokemon.
Frank looked over at his friend and then back at his trainer. That would be his new goal. He would get big and strong and keep up with Euri. Together the two of them would be able to take on pretty much everything. Maybe they would even let Sweetness in on some of the action. Seemed as though she was going to be strong enough to take on as much as the two of them. Plus in the last few days the plant was starting to become a bit more easy going and starting to feel more like the family.

Nero thought for a moment... Where would he go first? He was only just starting in his journey. "Hmm.. Well if I want to achieve my goal of defeating my top 10... I need more Pokemon... So, I suppose the first step is..." Nero grinned. "Catch more Pokemon!" he laughed, and tweaked his glasses, the lenses reflecting the light of the sun.
So much had happened since he stepped foot in this strange land. He'd been attacked and accosted by a Bird Pokemon. He'd met a strange and quirky girl named Mia with a strange and quirky Tangela named Jello. [Who just so happened to be the daughter of the Rank 7 Lister, Crasher Wake!] And now, after a battle with her, he met a new girl, who seemed just a bit... distant. What was her name again..?
In anycase, his first step as a Trainer was to get together a team of atleast 3 Pokemon so that he could challenge the first person on the list...
Roark of Oreburg! Whose specialty is Rocktype Pokemon, so in order to combat this, he'd need to gather either a grass or water type....
"Either of you know where to find some good Pokemon..? Something that Clooney could keep pace with?" Nero asked, and sipped more of his Mountain Mew Cola... "Mm... Good stuff!"

Jensen was in the midst of trying to figure out how the previously-paralyzed redhead had managed to move so stealthily and get behind him when his thoughts were rudely interrupted by a punch in the face. Jensen wasn't exactly a big guy, having invested most of his time and effort into his psychic training, and with a pained groan he was knocked back against the wall, causing one of the framed artworks to rattle and fall to the ground, the glass cracking on impact. "Oh, come on, that can't be all you've got," Keegan said, his voice rife with disappointment as Jensen slumped to the floor, looking a bit dazed. "Please get up so I may hit you some more."
"No, d-don't," the psychic stammered, holding his hand out in front of him defensively, his busted lip having allowed a thin trickle of blood to start making its way down his chin. "I-I was just f-following orders!"
Keegan narrowed his eyes, and stepped forward, grabbing the Rocket by the collar of his shirt. "And just whom did you get those orders from?" he demanded. Jensen struggled futilely against the redhead's hold but couldn't free himself, and he cried out again as Keegan pushed him against the wall. "WHO?!"
Jensen chuckled and used his free arm to wipe the blood from his chin. "Who do you think?" he asked, sneering up at Keegan. "It certainly wasn't my idea to waste all this time containing the likes of you."
Needless to say, Keegan wasn't impressed by that answer, and to show it he hauled the Rocket up to his feet. "Wrong answer," he hissed, bringing his knee up and ramming it into Jensen's gut. The psychic groaned and gasped as all the wind was forced out of him, and he would have fell to the ground again had Keegan not maintained his hold. "I'm going to have ask you again," he said quietly, his voice strangely calm despite the anger pulsing through his veins. "Who are you getting your orders from?"
When Jensen didn't answer right away Keegan tensed up, and the Rocket flinched involuntarily. He coughed again, and looked up at Keegan pleadingly. "Mai," he said, his tone one of defeat. "It was Mai that ordered your detainment."
"Figures," the redhead grumbled, pushing Jensen to the floor again, mostly disappointed that the Rocket had caved so easily. But then again, if Mai had decided to torment him instead of her younger half-sister, perhaps he could live with it. "Where is she now?" he asked, leaning down to face Jensen. "While it would probably be better for your health if you talk, I gotta admit that I'm hoping to have to beat it out of you." ===== Another wave of panic washed over Miharu as Poliwrath moved in to attack her Bulbasaur, attempting another Ice Punch. In comparison to her other Pokemon, Lily hadn't seen nearly as many battles, nor had she spent the same amount of time training with the Bulbasaur, either. Sure, she'd done well in the battle against Blanca a while ago, and that strange Marina girl in Olivine, but since that match, nothing. The green-haired girl steadied her breathing and relaxed, knowing that if she were to let her frustration show, Chuck would use it against her. "Brace yourself and use Giga Drain," she said, her green eyes twinkling. Lily hunkered down and waited for the attack to come, crying out as the icy fist slammed into her side. With a growl, the Seed Pokemon sent her two long green vines snaking out, and they quickly ensnared her target. Both Pokemon began to glow with a green aura, though very quickly Poliwrath's aura turned a sickly sort of green, while Lily's grew brighter and healthier.
When it was over, the Bulbasaur released her captive slowly, and Chuck let out a growl when he saw his Pokemon slump to the ground, unconscious. He muttered under his breath when he heard his wife declare Lily the victor, and he sighed, knowing that now, it was do or die. "You were marvelous, Poliwrath," he said, putting on a brave face as he recalled his fainted Tadpole. "And you too, Lass. I think I've been underestimating you a bit, but this is it. I'm pulling out all the stops." He held up his last Pokeball and smirked. "My final Pokemon will be Hitmonchan!" The Punching Pokemon materialized in a flash of red light, his fists already flying. The Pokemon looked well-trained, tough and eager to fight. "Lead off with Agility," Chuck said simply. "This shouldn't take too long." Hitmonchan nodded before showing off some fancy footwork, his speed and maneuverability jumping up as a result. "Let's dance, Darlin'," Chuck laughed. "Assuming you can keep up."

Kasiya grinned at Sere's sly smile, and nodded. It seemed the timid girl did have a bit of a rowdy side to her after all. "Oh, Pokemon food," she said, nearly slapping her forehead. "I think I have some as well, but I'm not sure how much. I really need to stock up once we get to this Canalave City place." After a bit of wandering the two girls found themselves at the designated fishing area, though there were only two older fishermen currently stationed there. They glanced quickly towards the girls before looking back at their lines, and Kasiya figured that they were too involved with their fishing to have even noticed the fiasco up in the dining room. Flash and Nova had remained out of their Pokeballs, though the Charmander had been carried since they'd left the dining room area. Kasiya couldn't help but notice that Nova was much bigger than she was when she first hatched, yet she seemed to be much smaller than Nitro had been when he was a Charmander. I wonder why that is, Kasiya thought, setting the lizard on the floor. Nova whined and plopped down, though as she watched the flame burning on the end of her tail she seemed to calm down a bit. Flash watched his younger teammate, his ear twitching slightly. Sure, he was hungry too, but he knew that it was far more important for a younger Pokemon like Nova to eat. He was sure he could hold out until later.
Kasiya knelt down on the floor beside her Pokemon, and set her bag in front of her. She unzipped it and peered inside before removing the canister of Pokemon food she carried around. It didn't feel very full, but if it meant that Nova could get a bit to eat, it would have to do. She too thought it more important to make sure Nova was fed, as her other, more experienced Pokemon had stronger constitutions and would be all right for a few more hours. She glanced over at Flash, who nodded his head and pointed a paw at Nova. Kasiya smiled at him, and emptied the small handful of food into her hand before offering it to Nova. The tiny Charmander looked at the food with wide eyes, glancing up at her trainer and over at the Jolteon as though asking if it were all right for her to take the food. "Go ahead, Nova," Kasiya told her. "It's all right, you can have it."
"Char! Mander, Charmander!" she said happily, taking the food and lining it up carefully on the floor in front of her.
Kasiya giggled as the Fire-type began to eat, enjoying every morsel. "Cutie pie," she said, petting Flash as he'd sat down beside her. "Don't worry, we'll get something when we reach land, all right?" Flash gave a sharp bark. He could wait, no problem!
=-=-=-=-= "Eww, no!" Eliza wailed, trying to brush the globs of mud from her clothing, though she hadn't gotten it as badly as Jaeshan had. She grumbled and glared at Jaeshan. "That's it! You're gonna get it now!" she shouted, pointing at her stone-encased Piloswine. "Smash through that wreckage with a Take Down, and take out that Shelgon!" A loud bellowing could be heard from within the tomb of rocks, and the ground began to shake a little as Piloswine burst through the rocks and rushed at Shelgon, who was a little surprised by the display of power and got bowled over in the process. It was a little amusing to watch the round dragon rolling around like a ball, her feet wriggling around in the air helplessly.
"Shelgon, get up and blast him with a Dragonbreath," Jaeshan called, knowing that Piloswine must have suffered a lot of damage from busting through the rocks as well as slamming into Shelgon, since Take Down was a reckless attack that caused recoil damage. Shelgon rolled back to her feet, the bluish purple flames already erupting from her mouth. Piloswine was much to close to even consider dodging, and as the flames washed over his body, he bellowed loudly.
"Hang in there, Piloswine!" Eliza shouted. "Use Mud Bomb again, we'll show them!" The Swine Pokemon bellowed again, though this time instead of lobbing the glob of muck at Shelgon, his body began to glow with an aura that reminded Jaeshan of a psychic attack. Then, large chunks of the already-cracked ground began to rise up, and with a grunt, Piloswine sent them flying at Shelgon. The rocks smashed into her side one by one, with the poor dragon grunting every time. When the attack was over Shelgon shook herself out and glared at the Piloswine angrily. She was so going to teach him a lesson now.

Riza watched her Pokemon carefully, knowing that with Slowbro being paralyzed, and Yula having perfected her Doubleteam, there was a good chance that they could actually win this legitimately. Well, if you don't count the fact that Jaden could have used some serious attacks in the opening rounds. "Now let's show them your Magical Leaf," she called out next. "Don't forget that it's not only about power, but technique and display as well."
The Kirlia nodded, her clones still mimicking her actions as she did a graceful pirouette, her petite arms kept in perfect form. She opened her ruby red eyes, looking very elegant and graceful before a storm of shimmering, ethereal green leaves filled the battlefield. Like before, the clones had copied Yula's attack perfectly, and it was hard to tell where the real ones were. Either way, it wouldn't have missed, but the effect was truly dazzling. The angle on which the leaves moved varied with each Kirlia that was using it, and in the end it looked like a giant spiral of glittering leaves, controlled by six different mini spirals coming from each of the Kirlia.
"Very nice," Jaden commented, wincing as he knew there was no way for Slowbro to evade that one. Riza seemed to have a knack for creating spectacular appeals, and so far she was utilizing her own moves to enhance her own Pokemon. The older sibling smiled, and looked to his Slowbro. "Psychic," he called, giving a quick nod. "You know what to do."
The pink Pokemon nodded, looking like he hadn't yet registered any pain from the attacking magical leaves. He raised both arms above his head, his whole body glowing with a pale pink aura. Very suddenly, every remaining leaf on the field was in his control, his pink aura extending out everywhere. Slowbro then proceeded to bring them all inward, creating a large green blob that surrounded him. Then, he clapped his hand and the green blob seemed to bloom like a giant flower bud, the pink psychic aura emulating the pink petals of a flower, with Slowbro in the middle of it. "Finish it," Jaden said simply, and Slowbro clapped once more and the magical leaves were sent out in all directions, leaving no way for Yula to escape being hit. * * * * * "Yes, my second badge," Katie said, nodding to Mia. "I defeated Roark just this morning, actually." She smiled a bit as the morning's battle came back to her in flashes, and she couldn't help but feel proud of her Pokemon, and Noa especially, seeing as she was the only one at the disadvantage against Roark's rock-type Pokemon. "Though with your Floatzel and Tangela, you should breeze right through that match," she added, though a bit uncertainly. Making friends with other humans definitely wasn't her strongest point.
Genki, meanwhile had looked rather sad when Jello pulled her vine away from him, and he moved back to Katie's side, pouting a little. He knew that grass-types weren't normally very fond of fire-types like himself, but he wouldn't go around lighting things on fire just because he could. Katie had taught him better than that. Instead, he watched the new human that his trainer had met, amazed that the boy wore so much green. He kind of looked like a grass Pokemon himself.
Katie looked over to Nero, and nodded. "Depends on what kind of Pokemon you want to find," she replied. "Starly, Bidoof, Shinx, Budew, they're all fairly common around here. Kricketot too, but they're a bit harder to find. Is there anything you're looking for in particular?" she asked, more of necessity than interest. He'd asked for opinions and she was giving one, although she was a little curious to find out what kinds of Pokemon he was interested in and what he wanted to capture first.

Jensen's face turned a lighter shade of pale when Keegan asked about Mai's whereabouts, and he shook his head, already wincing and turning away. "I-I don't kn-know," he stammered, shaking his head. "She d-does what she pleases. Sh-she answers to no one but G-G-Giovanni. I don't know where she i-is."
Keegan sighed, and ran his fingers through his hair as he stood up. "Again, why am I not surprised?" he muttered, walking over to the table which held his personal effects. He put the belt holding his Pokeballs back on, eying the empty one that should have currently been housing an overly energetic Treecko. He clipped it back on as well and quickly put on his shoes, making sure the Rocket was in his sight at all times. Jensen remained in that same spot, watching the redhead's every move. Keegan slipped on his jacked as well, his hands immediately delving into his pockets in search of his cigarettes. He uttered several strong curse words when he found them to be missing, and he cast a sharp glare towards the still-cowering Rocket. "You'd better answer this one quickly," he growled, crossing the room in a few long strides. "What did you do with my smokes?"
Without hesitation Jensen reached into his own pockets and withdrew the requested item, tossing it to the floor with a trembling hand. Keegan sighed, his nicotine addiction currently overriding his common sense as he knelt down to claim them, though no sooner had he picked the pack up off the floor did Jensen lash out with his foot, knocking Keegan off balance and to the floor. The Rocket quickly jumped to his feet, but Keegan had gotten back to a standing position faster than Jensen had anticipated. Though the sudden trip startled him a bit, the redhead laughed, shaking his head at the psychic. "So you do have some fight in you," he said tauntingly, shoving the pack of smokes into his pocket. His nicotine fix would have to wait. "And I thought this was gonna be boring!" He started towards Jensen, not sure which of the Rocket's limbs he was going to break first.
Jensen, on the other hand, didn't like the malicious look in Keegan's eyes and backed away slowly, trying to focus. It was a difficult task, though, as his ears were still ringing from the punch he'd taken earlier. If I don't do something quick, I'm a dead man, he thought, gritting his teeth. He felt the familiar mental rush of energy flow through him and he held up his hands, which were glowing with a teal aura. He knew he wouldn't be able to trick the redhead this time around, and he pushed forward with his mind, attempting to block the redhead from advancing closer. ===== Hitmonchan, Miharu thought, nodding slowly. It's capable of throwing punches that are so fast, they are invisible to the naked eye. And I know for sure that this guy will be packing Ice, Thunder, and Fire Punch. Lily had backed up so that she was now positioned in front of Miharu, and both the girl and her Bulbasaur watched carefully as the Hitmonchan danced around the arena, throwing out quick jabs that were indeed to quick for either of them to see. "Lily, go a head and use Synthesis," Miharu said quietly. "It's sunny out right now, so you should be able to heal quite a bit." Lily nodded and closed her eyes, the bulb on her back shimmering as she used the solar power beaming down on her to recharge her energy. She smiled happily, as that sunlight sure felt good!
Chuck watched his Pokemon, confident that he still had a chance to win this. He glanced over at the Bulbasaur as it healed itself, and he smirked. Heal all you want, it won't do you any good, he thought, looking back at Hitmonchan. And does anybody even read these posts? "Okay Hitmonchan, now that we've raised your speed, it's time to boost your physical stats! Use Bulk Up! Show them that Pokemon raised in Chuck's Dojo are no pushovers!" The Punching Pokemon let out a sharp growl and began to punch the air once more, his movements slower than before, and more precise. His body glimmered as his muscles bulged, making him a much more dangerous enemy than before. "That's the way," Chuck cheered. "We'll pulverize 'em!"

That looked like Ancientpower, Jaeshan thought, scratching his chin as Shelgon shook herself, bits of dust and rock falling to the ground. He glanced over at Eliza, who looked quite confused by the strange move her Pokemon had just used. "I think that was Ancientpower," Jaeshan told her. "One of my friend's Pokemon knows how to use it, so I've seen it before," he added with a nod. Speaking of which, I wonder how Ada is doing, he thought, looking towards the redheaded girl.
"Ancientpower, huh? That sounds really cool," Eliza said, grinning broadly. "Piloswine, you're the bomb!" The Swine Pokemon grunted in reply, and stomped his feet. He seemed very happy with himself that he'd learned a new move, and he bellowed again, stomping both feet down hard on the ground. Very suddenly, his body became engulfed in a bright, white light, and both Jaeshan and Eliza stared in awe as the Pokemon's shape shifted, and more than doubled in size. His legs lengthened, and his tusks elongated significantly. An icy chill wafted through the area when the light vanished, and one of the largest Pokemon that either trainer had ever seen was standing before them. His enormous tusks glistened in the sunlight, and his giant feet indented the ground below him. His shaggy fur was a slightly darker shade than it had been when he was a Piloswine, and he had white and blue markings on his face. He looked mightily pleased with himself and he reared back and slammed his front feet hard on the ground, causing everything to shake. "What... what just happened?" Eliza shrieked, running over to her Pokemon. "Piloswine doesn't evolve! What's going on here?!"
Shelgon took a few tentative steps back, her pace increasing until she was beside Jaeshan. The funny furry pig had suddenly gotten so much bigger, that wasn't fair! The Dragon huffed and stomped her feet. "I guess they can evolve again," Jaeshan said, though it was the obvious thing to say, and he walked towards Eliza and her newly evolved Pokemon.
"Yeah, guess so, but do you know what kind of Pokemon he is?" Eliza asked, still more shocked than anything else. The giant Pokemon grunted and nudged her gently with his tusks.
Jaeshan shrugged. "I'm sorry, but I don't," he said apologetically, but then his eyes lit up. "Oh wait, my PokeDex! It just got an upgrade, I bet it'll know!" He ran to where his messenger bag was sitting on the ground and opened it, pulling out the device a moment later. "I hope so, anyway." He opened it and pointed it at the large Pokemon, waiting in anticipation as it was scanned.
=-=-=-=-= It was just after sunup when Mai awoke, and she went about her morning routine like normal. For a moment or so she considered forgoing her reporter disguise, but eventually decided that it would be best to keep up her ruse, at least until they landed in Sinnoh. Mai had never been much of a breakfast person, though she'd still gone down to the dining room and while she sipped her morning coffee she witnessed firsthand the disgusting eating display put on by the Snorlax and Ambipom. She had more than enough food for her own Pokemon, but that was besides the point. It was somewhat amusing watching the reactions of all the angry trainers, even after the captain had made the announcement about the free breakfast upon making port. For the most part, the majority of people seemed to be happy enough with the captain's solution, but a small group of trainers had accosted Robin, and they didn't look very happy.
She sighed and finished her coffee before standing up and making her way over to the girl and took up position beside her. "Hey, why don't you back off?" she she asked, though it was more like a statement than a suggestion. She shot the lot of them a harsh glare, her hands planted on her hips. "She apologized, so leave her alone. Otherwise you'll have to deal with me." She cast a quick, sideways glance to the girl and winked. Now was as good a time as any to find out about one more of these troublesome children.

Nero thought on the girl's question for a moment. Agility, and Speed and Special Attack were his top choices for Pokémon Attributes.
"Well... I don't know too many of the Pokémon of this region, but... I guess I would build a Team based on my favorite Attributes as so marked by the Pokémon Legue... Speed, Agility, and Special Attack." Nero said, and smiled at the pokémon who was looking at him.
"Hello... What's got you so interested? Like my vest, or something?" he chuckled.
"I heard that you guys have some newly discovered Eevee Evolution up here... Like ... shoot... what did Oren say it was called...? It's a Grass Type..?" Nero thought, a contemplative expression on his brow. "Hmm..."

"Yula, no!" Riza cried as the psychically controlled leaves sped out in all directions, taking out each of the clones in one shot. The real Yula cried out as she was struck by the attack, but since most of the leaves had already been used to attack Slowbro, she wasn't hurt very badly. 'That's a wild way to use Psychic,' Riza thought, completely amazed by Slowbro's power, and Jaden's ability to show it off. 'I didn't think Jaden did contests though....' She looked to the Kirlia as she got to her feet, still looking quite energetic. "That's my girl," she whispered. "Let him have another Thunderbolt, but this time let's go for pure power." Yula nodded in agreement, as she thought she could go for power as well. Instead of spinning she held her arms out in front of her, a small ball of electricity forming in front of her, and she launched it forward, the bolt arching out quickly to strike its target.
'That Kirlia moves fast,' Jaden thought, impressed at how quickly Yula was able to recover, and fire of the Thunderbolt as ordered by Riza. Even if he hadn't been paralyzed, Jaden knew that his Slowbro could never hope to dodge it so the best they could do was grin and bear it. 'Riza's really letting Slowbro have it,' he thought with a smile. "Okay Slowbro, go ahead and use Slack off to heal yourself." The pink Pokemon nodded and sat down on the ground, a little bit of electricity still clinging to his body from the attack he'd just taken. He yawned loudly, and an aura that seemed almost holy in nature overcame his whole form. Just like that, Slowbro was feeling much more energetic, or at least as energetic as a Slowbro could get. "That all you've got?" Jaden asked, with a confident smile. * * * * * "Those are all important attributes," Katie said, nodding. Now that she thought about it, three of her Pokemon were very fast and agile, while two of them had good special attacking powers. Genki grinned broadly when Nero acknowledged him, and stood up as tall as he could, trying to make himself look bigger, and he lost his balance and toppled over backwards. "Genki, you're so silly," Katie said, giggling a bit. The Monferno grinned up at her sheepishly and stood up again as nothing had happened.
"Grass-type Eevee evolution...." Katie repeated, tapping her finger against her chin in thought. "Yes, I remember reading about it in school. It's a fairly recent discovery. Apparently if you train with an Eevee in certain places it's cells will adapt to the environment and it can evolve. I'm not sure exactly where these special places are, but I believe the grass-type evolution is called Leafeon. And if I remember correctly, the ice-type evolution is called Glaceon."

Nero smirked at the Monkey pokémon, and examined its appearance. "Hmm... Is that by chance a Monferno? He looks really energetic." Nero said, and began to wonder just how many more Pokémon there were out there in Sinnoh Region. "So... Um. You two must be fed up with teaching this newbie how to train. I suppose I'll take my leave, and start training Clooney after I heal him." Nero said, starting toward the PokéCenter.
This had been a nice conversation, and he enjoyed the battle with Mia, but he felt awkward with people who were younger than he was, yet who knew so much more about Pokémon Training. "Nice battle, Miss Mia. That's quite a strong Tangela you have, even if he IS a bit... quirky." Nero bowed in respect to the trainer who'd bested him in a duel.
Turning to Katie, he smiled friendly and said "Heheh... And, I thank you," A look of equal parts confusion, embarrassment and apology crossed his face, "um.. I'm sorry, but I didn't catch your name! What was it again...?"

"Yes, Genki is a Monferno," Katie answered. "And yes, he is very energetic." She ruffled the fur atop the Playful Pokemon's head. Genki cooed happily, and Katie recalled him into his pokeball. She looked over at Mia as she and Nero exchanged a few words, feeling a bit awkward. She hadn't noticed before, but Nero seemed to be quite a bit older than she and Mia, and he seemed very new to being a trainer. 'I guess one can start Pokemon training at any age, though,' she thought.
She looked at the older young man as he turned back to her, returning his smile. "It's no problem," she said, nodding. "Oh, and my name is Katie." She paused, looking at the ground for a moment. "Do you have a phone? If you want, I can give you my phone number and you can call me if you have questions or need advice."

Nero considered the option for a moment. "Sure, I suppose that'd be alright. Here, let's exchange information..." Nero said, pulling out his PokéGear.
As he typed up the right sequence of numbers and added in his name, Nero Vestus, out popped a piece of small printer paper. "Thank you both, for your help! Mia, you have definately got the blood of a Gym Leader in you. Then again... next time we meet, circumstances might be different. I'll definately win NEXT time. And Katie, you should consider a job as a Pokémon Professor or, perhaps a teacher of some kind. I'll take my leave, now." Nero said, smiling and heading off to the Pokémon Center to heal Clooney of his recent injuries.
Stepping into the building with the red roof, Nero was greeted by the familiar "Welcome to the PokéCenter!" followed by a Chancey chirp. Joy, whom he had previously seen not more than an hour ago, seemed surprised to see him again, so soon after the last visit. To this, Nero shrugged his shoulders. "Trainer Battle. I wasn't good enough, yet, I learned alot from the experience. So, it ain't SO bad." he chuckled. Joy seemed to understand and nodded, adding "Here, let me take your Pokémon for a moment! Be right back!" Always cheerful, that woman.
After getting a full checkup, Nero thanked Nurse Joy and sipped another can of Mountain Mew...
For a moment, Nero examined the goings on of the Pokémon Center. The bustle of the Chansey wheeling a gurney down the aisle, and into the next room. In the corner of the lobby, two young men sat in a corner, chatting about a recent capture they had. It seemed the left one was jealous of the one on the right... "No way! You caught a Staravia!? Where??" he exclaimed. The other grinned and shook his index finger back and forth, tauntingly. "Ah, ah... if I told you that, I would be taking the fun of training and exploring with your Turtwig...!"
In another area of the Lobby, an older man was on the phone, talking business with some person... "No... But that's impossible! The Boss said that!? Double efforts?! But..." he had a worried, exasperated expression on his mug... Like he feared 'the Boss' would kill him for not doing his job.
He must have taken notice of being eavesdropped upon, because the next words out of his mouth were... "I gotta go... Some guy's listening... Tell Giovanni that I'll do as he asked." He paused, a look of rememberance flashing for a moment in his eyes, and then, gone... "And, Butch...? Have THAT ready when I get to H.Q. ... Yes. THAT." He glared at Nero, as he shut his Cellphone, and walked out of the pokémon center...
"Man... That was strange..." Nero remarked, wondering what sort of business would require such secrecy...

After giving Nero her own phone number, Katie took the small piece of paper that he'd handed her and made a new entry into her phone. "A Pokemon Professor?" she repeated, smiling lightly. It hadn't been the first time she'd heard those words. Her teacher at the Jubilife Trainer School had said she'd make a good professor as well, and why shouldn't she? Katie did graduate at the top of her class. She also couldn't help but admire the Pokegear he carried, as well, for she had heard of them, but never did get around to ordering herself one. 'I'll have to call Mother,' she thought, making a mental note to herself.
She bid Mia farewell and started away from the pokecenter. She'd just started north towards the route that would take her towards Floaroma Town, but at the last moment she changed her mind and headed back towards town, her sights set on the pokemart. She'd been thinking about buying a few more things since she'd got the steelwing tm for Noa earlier, and now she planned to get one for Genki, just because she knew the Staravia would rub it in that she had a special move and he didn't.
Katie hoped they had what she was looking for in stock, as she went right to the tm section and began to sort through the various discs. "No, no, no, no," Katie mumbled as she went through them, though she smiled when she finally found the one she was after. It was a glittering orange disc with 'tm 35' emblazoned across the surface. "Genki will love this one!" She brought the disc over to the counter and paid with exact change, speaking as few words as possible to the clerk before heading outside again to teach her Pokemon his new move.

The last thing Robin had been expecting was someone coming to her aid. The moment the pretty reporter woman had come to help her Robin couldn't help but feel a rush of gratitude as she gazed at the other with thankful eyes. Sure she could have handled it eventually but the fact that someone had actually come to help her was really special! No one ever came to help her after Luffy/herself did something really dumb. Robin watched the stare down between the pretty reporter lady and the angry mob and was amazed when the turned away. When they finally were out of sight Robin couldn't help herself. Letting out a happy cry she wrapped her arms around the woman and gave her the biggest hug she could. "Oh thankyouthankyouthankyou! Oh wow! No one has ever come to help me out like that before! I mean yeah it was my fault for not watching Luffy but wow! Your so cool!" Jumping back she gazed at the older woman adoration all across her face.
At Robin's side Raz and Brook shared a look, they had been prepaired to defend their trainer but instead this person had done it for them. Brook who was glad not to fight just set to admiring the pretty woman in front of him. Raz though just eyed the woman for a moment, as mean as it was Robin didn't get a lot of help from other people so it was a little odd. The smarter then the rest of them Yanma eyed the other for a moment before deciding that maybe there were just some good people around. Besides it was about time they ran into someone who wanted to help instead of the people who were just jerks.

As Eraku looked out over the open water he couldn't help but let out a sigh of relaxation. It was a nice day and the waters were calm. Nothing could ruin a day like this he thought. He noticed there wasn't even a nibble on the line as he slowly reeled the line in. Hmmmm nothing I'll give it another shot he thought as he cast the line back out hoping this time something would bite.
