He smiled and put her bowl in the sink when it was finished, lifting her out of her chair. "Well then, let's go to the forest then." Carrying her out to the backyard he set her on the ground, cracking his back before shifting to his wolf form and nudging her.

Shilo shifted and stretched out, doing a yawn before padding over and sitting next to him, getting excited for her first run.

He grinned. 'You can't run and sit.' Nudging her again he waited for her to stand up. He already knew the route he was going to take her on, he just needed to make sure that she could keep up with him. 'When you're ready we can go.' Licking her once he started walking off towards the woods.

Shilo stood up and followed, starting to run in front of him to show him she was ready. "Then come on daddy, lets go." The thought caught her off guard and wondered if he heard her like she heard him.

He laughed when he heard her in his head, padding after her. She didn't run very fast just yet, not while just playing around in front of him. 'Alright, come on.' Licking her one more time he took off, running through the trees and hoping she was keeping up. He could find her, she stuck out like a sore thumb. It just wouldn't be fun to explain to Moya.

Shilo barked and took off after him, staying kind of close behind him. "Daddy, can you slow down just a little? I'm not as fast."

Well, at least she was getting the hang of talking in wolf form. That helped quite a bit, since so far she still needed the blocks to talk. Slowing down he made it so he was just barely ahead of her, leading her through the forest. He loved this run, but he wondered just how much she would be able to take of it at her age. 'Better?'

"Yes, thank you." She ran behind him, her breathing becoming labored but she still ran, trying to keep up with her dad and not wanting to give up just yet.

He could hear her heavy breathing behind him and smiled, knowing she didn't want to give up. They had been running for at least an hour, he wasn't surprised that she was tired already. Time to surprise her. Slowing down again he scooped her up in his mouth, carrying her the way Simba did in the Lion King. She was so small compared to a real pup that it was easy. Running faster now he took her all the way to the lake, setting her down by the shore.

Shilo whined some of the way there, sitting down on the edge of the lake and looking up at him. "I could have made it on my own daddy, I really could have." She put her feet in the water and walked around a minute, just liking the feel of the water between her toes.

He bit back a laugh and nudged her with his nose, laying on the ground. 'I know you could have. That was just faster.' Laying there a moment he shifted back, pulling his shirt off and going to the deeper side of the lake, diving in. When he came back up he smiled at Shilo. "What do you say we teach you how to swim?"

He watched her with a smile, pressing some water at her so a small wave hit her. She looked adorable with her wet fur, but human would probably be better. "I'm pretty sure you'll need human before you need wolf." He went over and picked her up, holding her close yet loosely. "And wolf will come naturally, so shift to your human form."
