"Dear please wake up." He said shaking her shoulder. "What can they do for you?" Tanis jumped to his feet and poked his head in the family den. He saw the family close together, their head all bowed. He bit his lip before calling out. "Miluiel." He pulled back out of the room to speak to her. "Miluiel, Helena needs you."
Miluiel looked up towards the entrance. She didn't want to leave her family, but she didn't know what was going on with Helena.
Tanis returned to Helena's side. "I have called for them." He said.

Azrael looked up at Miluiel and stood up. He had recomposed himself and smiled. She was right, he had to be strong if he wanted to bring his people through these times. Azrael put a hand on her shoulder. "Go to her Miluiel. We will be there with you." He said, picking Shinn up and held him against his chest. "What a person often needs most, if a familiar touch to get them through trouble, or at least aid through their trouble." He said.
Mazzia saw Celeron enter the guest den and wiped the tears from her eyes. She poked her head inside of the room. "Is... she alright?" She asked, worried.
Veral stood up from his reverie. He would leave, and would leave soon, but he would stay a bit longer. He needed to recover a little bit more... and he wanted to say good-bye to Mazzia as well.
Shana was helping a group of others clear debris into a piles, sorting out the wood that could be reused to rebuild the house, and what wood was only good for burning. She sighed mightily as the work drowned down to an end. The displaced families had been taken in by other families. It would take awhile to rebuild all of the houses once everything settled down enough to start rebuilding in the spring.

Celeron Laid Shera buy the fire and laid next to her. He pulled a skin over the two of them and smiled.
"Its been a strange day Shera my love. Perhaps we should both rest to be safe." Celeron said as he kissed her lips gently.

Miluiel leaned forward and kissed her boys. "Thank you." she said softly standing up and offering them an hand up. Once Azrael was on his feet Miluiel left the family den and walked out to Helena. She kneeled beside her, taking her Helena's hand in hers. She kissed it gently."Dear, dear it is me Miluiel, please wake up." She said softly to Helena.

Shera felt her eyes become heavy even as she kissed him back. He was indeed very warm, but she was too tired. She truly used too much energy and magic up to do anything even to respond to Mazzia as she had asked a question. She couldn’t hardly move. “Rest…sounds good…”, her voice came out weakly as she laid there against Celeron till her eyes closed completely and she fell into a slumber.
Helena began to sweat as she laid there even with Miluiel’s hand in hers. She could unconsciously feel Tanis near as well as she again spoke of what attacks were going on in her body. “Dragon…green dragon…help me…please…chase…spirit…broken…” Helena couldn’t move as she laid there. Her body just continued to sweat up a storm.

Miluiel sighed, she knew what needed to be done. "Helena, can I help you without Veral?" she asked. "I needed him to help before, do I need his help again, or can I do it myself?" She asked softly, her lips just beside Helena's ear.

Helena continued to say the same things over and over again, but it seemed she was incoherent mostly. The damage wasn’t something done to her by an attack. Her spirit was broken in a different way. “Spirit broken…failure…failed to protect…oath broken…” The words now made more sense as she spoke something that Miluiel might make more sense about and Azrael as well. She had made an oath with her life to protect the village and she failed to protect it. People still died and the damage was done. Helena was internally waging a war with herself fighting the battle with the green dragon all over again because of her failure.

Miluiel froze she looked at Helena's face, and felt a wave of sadness and worry wash over her. "Dearest, it is not your place to protect everyone." She said softly brushing Helena's hair from her face. "There is nothing you could have done. They won't hold you to your oath, I know they won't. If they released you could you get better?" She asked softly still stroking her hair.

Celeron yawned as he realized he hadn't slept in 2 days hunting the fiend Kokoro. He closed his eyes as he took in the sweet smell of Shera's white hair. It had been a rough day and sleep was so easy to succumb to in Shera's embrace.

“I failed…oath…” Helena continued on in her speak about those two things as it would probably take more than just Miluiel’s words now. Tanis already gave her the will to live. Milueil the will to fight. The next step would come from Shinn and Azrael, the will of duty and that she isn’t a failure.
Shera continued to sleep next to Celeron happy to be next to him. She was so tired and it showed. Physically she was alright, but her magical powers showed dangerous levels. She was terribly low on them from helping to remove the necromantic powers.

Azrael came forward and knelt next to Helena. He put Shinn down and Shinn looked at Helena. "Helena..." Azrael said softly, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Perhaps you did not succeed the way you wanted.. but you did the best that you did to protect, and with your powers, you have done more than I myself am capable of doing, which I regret to say of myself." Azrael looked at her with a sad smile. "You have done a remarkable job protecting the village, and you risked your life for all of us." Azrael face then took a much grimmer tone. "If you had not been there Helena.... Countless more of my people would have died. The Great Mother creates no one in perfection, for none of us are capable of perfection." He said, now looking a bit stern. "And if you wish to keep your oath, you must continue to protect this village. Only by throwing away your duty, can you truly fail."

Miluiel had stood up to get out of Azrael's way. She gave him the space he needed. She listened to his words. She watched Helena for any signs of recovery, and she watched Azrael to make sure he was alright. She placed a hand lightly on Shinn's and Azrael's shoulder.

The vision of the dragon in her mind seemed to have vanished at Azrael’s words and Miluiel’s, as well as Tanis. The three words seemed to be enough, but unconscious seemed to remain as she lay there. The last one she needed to bring her out of unconsciousness was Shinn. Her hand however would finally close over Miluiel’s and Tanis’ as she laid there. Her sweating even subsided greatly, but she was far from recovering.

Miluiel took her hand, and squeezed it gently in her hand. She looked up at Tanis holding her other hand. With a weak smile she looked back at Helena. "Dear why do you put yourself up on these sort of oaths. It is rater silly isn't it. I wish that you wouldn't do it anymore." Miluiel sighed and looked down at Shinn. "Do you have anything to say Shinn?" she asked rubbing Little Shinn's shoulder.
Tanis kneeled beside Helena, he held her hand in both of his. He watched her face, her every movement hopeful that she would wake up again soon.

Shinn sniffled, and he wiped a tear from his furry cheek. "D-don't leave us... If you leave, then I can't go flying with you... I don't want anybody hurt..." He said, his tears starting up again. "Please don't leave us...."
Azrael looked down at Shinn and rubbed his pack gently. "You are just as much a part of our pack as Miluiel is, Helena." He said. "And a pack is like an extended family. And we don't leave family alone to suffer." He looked up. "If you lose your hope and your spirit, the that Dragon will surely win. But if you so much as keep up our hope, then no matter how bad it gets, and even if we all perish, then the dragon will not win, and will never win."
