Izumi woke early and started the day by folding her futon and puting it away. Namari sat quietly, reading a book while he waited for his mother to get dressed and ready for the day.
Riko/Umi and Saiyuri continued to sleep in their bed/bag
Izumi started off doing her chores with something she loves ~cooking breakfast for everyone heart
Namari helped Izumi by testing the food as she cooked rolleyes

Sadayakko went to bed shortly after speaking with Yokome. She awoke early in the morning, still used to the black hours she was used to awaking at when she had been a maid. She dressed for the day quickly; it was cold in the okiya at this time of day. Carefully, she made her way down to the tea room. She called out somewhat quietly for a maid due to the hour. "Maid? I wish for some tea and rice please."

Izumi scrambles arround makeing the pretty Maiko some tea and rice..
"Here you are ma'am." Izumi bows low after handing the pretty Maiko her tea and rice.
Namari scramples in and hands the Maiko a pair of chopsticks and also bows low before climbing up onto his mother's shoulder
"Anything else ma'am?" Izumi smiles sweetly as Namari hides in her hair shyly.

Okichi rolled over in her futon and noticed most of the maids gone. "Oh, i hope i didnt over sleep," She thougth as she got up and began to roll her futon up. It was still dark, and the okiya was very cold in the early moring. She quickly dressed and made her way to the kitchen to help make breatfast. When Okichi reached the kitchen she was greated by Izumi another on of the maids.
"Good morning," she said. The food looked very good and wondered if it would be ok if she helped herself to some. She got a bowl down from one of the cuboreds and some wooden chop sticks and ate quickly for she new that soon she would start her daily chores.
When she was done Okichi helped clean up the kitchen. Today she had the task of tending to the okiya's garden. She pulled back her sleaves and began to sweep off the stepping stones. The garden was very beautiful. The air was warm. Okichi stopped for a moment to smell the air. She couldnt help but wonder when it was her time to begin her training as a Maiko. She had only just arrived at the okiya but she still couldnt help but day dream. Okichi finished sweeping and went back inside to see if any of the other girls needed help.

Izumi quietly goes to check on her girls, then continues her chores, Namari being the ever helpful little angel.
Izumi gives Namari a boost up onto the shelf so he can clean the areas she couldn't reach. Izumi continues cleaning the lower shelves when she hears a yelp from the shelf above her.
"Mom! MOM!" Namari yelps as he hops off of the shelf and into Izumi's arms. "What is it?! What happened?" Izumi asks woriedly as Namari hides his face into her yukata. "The spider tryed to eat me, momma!"
Izumi gives her son a comforting hug and goes to see what spooked him so.
After retreaving a small step-stool, Izumi looks arround the shelf and moves a few knick-knacks before finding the tinny spider.. 'I can see how something small like this could look MUCH bigger to him...' She picks up the tinny spider, carrys it outside and lets it go. Uppon returning to the shelves she was cleaning (& where Namari asked to wait for her) she finds Namari gone eek
after searching arround for the little guy for a few min. Izumi finds him in the kittchen makeing riceballs. "Hey mom! I thought the other maids would like a small snack. They're all doing such a good job."
After finnishing all of the riceballs, Izumi and Namari deliver them to all of the maids, hopeing that they appreciate the small snack heart

Okichi began to make her way to the geisha quarters, so was asked to clean them. She was just about to begin picking up the dirty clothes, when a maid and a younger boy came around the corner. The boy was holding a bunch of rice balls. They smelled very delicious.
"Here you go Miss," Said the young boy handing her one of the rice balls.
"Thank you so much little guy!" 4laugh she said as she gobbled it up. Just what she needed to get her energy back up.
"And what is your name little guy?" Okichi said with a smile.
"I'm Namari, and this is my mommy Izumi," he said pointing to the young lady standing behind him.
"You have good helper," she bows low to both of them.
"I'm Okichi, the new maid," she said bowing again. This time not as low.
"Ok well thank you so much for the snack, but I should get back to cleaning," She said patting Namari's head and bowing again to Izumi.
Okichi placed all the clothes she had found strewed about the room into the basket and walked down to the laundry room. She heated the water and placed the clothes into the cleaning tub. As they soaked she sat next to the tub of clothes and began to read one of her kabuki magazines. After they had soaked in the soapy water she began to scrub them making sure she got them all nice and clean. After she was done she took them and hung them to dry. Taking a deep breath she sat down for awhile to enjoy the nice weather.

After delivering the riceballs to all of the maids, Izumi and Namari sat in the gardens to eat the last riceball. Izumi breakes off a small bit for Namari and hands it to him as he sits on the bench next to her.
Namari has only been with Izumi for a few months, so they didn't know much about eachother. So as they eat, they speak about their pasts.
Namari is 23 years old and the oldest of his siblings. The world he came from, he was average height for a man of his age.. about 60cm or 2ft. tall and about 7lbs. His sister Riko/Umi ran away from home just after their father arranged for her to marry. Namari had left home to find her, and a few years later, found himself at Izumi's home where Riko/Umi had also decided to call home. Namari had instantly fell in love with Izumi, and felt her more of a mother than the one who had raised him and his siblings.
Izumi and Namari get back to work after finnishing the riceball. Namari continues telling Izumi the fun and exciting stories of his homelands as they work.

Yokome rose after a long night, still a little sleepy, and rubbed her eyes. She look out the window into the bright sunlight. What now? She just had to wait for her Onee-san to come home to the okiya.

Luna rose from her bed, she yawned lightly and looking outside smiled. used to getting up early Luna didn't have much trouble though she was thirsty. moving down towards the tea room she paused seeing her new friend. "Sadayakko-chan! Good morning!" She entered slightly bowing to the other Maiko. "Might I join you?" She appeared far friendlier than when they had first met a week or so ago though she was still quiet and her hair was still in her face though she knew she needed to pin it back she never did it just made her feel to open even though she had beauiful pale golden brown eyes.

"Ah, Luna. Good morning." Sadayakko smiled. "Yes, please have a seat. I'll call for a maid for your morning meal and tea while you settle."
Ah, the new day seemed to bring so much more joy; she could even smell the faint scent of flowers in the air, enhancing her mood. "Maid? Would you please attend to Luna-chan?" She hoped Luna would not mind the familiarity Sadayakko had used by adding the suffix.

After a long night of entertaining, Iyasu emerged into the entrance of the okiya. She was sure that Yokome would be up wondering about her. Wearily, she slipped off her shoes, as she looked around the entrance hall. A maid was not there to greet her and help her in. There were many new maids and they probably did not know the rule for that, but oh well. They'll learn in due time.
With a graceful step, she entered into the okiya, "May I have some assisstance, please? Maid or maiko?" She called out as she felt physical exhaustion consume her body. She was a wake and alert, just very tired.

Yokome heard her Onee-san come in and she imediately rushed to the fron entrance. 'Hello, Onee-sen', she said, making a bow and rushing to help her with her shoes. 'How was the rest of your night last night?' Yokome said, putting her zori in their designated shelf.
