He nodded. "Barriers are good. I can work with that." He looked towards Durithill, nodding. He pulled a scrap of labcoat, lifted during a lull in their fight with Rick- Jesse was the type to try to be prepared for anything. He snapped his fingers, and a hellhound formed, and he held out the scrap. The hellhound let out a shrill, terrifying bark after several seconds hard smelling, showing it had the scent memorized. "Everything's ready, are you?"

He nodded, solemnly flivking one finger, a leash materializing in his fist, attached to the collar around the hellhound's neck. He waved his hand, and a portal opened. The hellhound bayed, and leapt forward, leading the way through the portal.

So far he hadn't turned back into a wolf, and that was a good sign. Didn't mean it would keep up, but one could only hope. Not that hope was an emotion Durithill was particularly familiar with. "Try not to slow us down too much." Durithill said with a small chuckle at Melody as he walked past her and through the portal that Jesse had created.

Melody pouted "eazy for you to say.." she whispered and walked slowly, she breathed deep before getting inside, knowing she would feel sick again

He sighed, his paws in his pockets as he walked into his temple, leaning heavily on his cane. He wandered into the library, and sat heavily in his favorite chair, closing his eye wearily, one finger tenderly stroking over the wisp around his neck.

The black wisp started purring again the moment they came in. This place is dark. This place is corrupt.
This place is its new element, and it is the most purest evil currently on the planet.
It pulsated with power as it drew darkness and taint hungrily into itself. It loved its new father dearly. So much so that it wanted to show what it could do. While its normal size and form is a wisp that could easily fit in Jesse's palm, it desired to show him what it could be.
The purring began to develop into something more childlike. It started to sound like laughter. The wisp hugged Jesse, slowly getting bigger as it brought in more of the dark aura from the environment.

He laughed along with his child- yes, surely although born of another father, the fairy was his son- hugging it back gently. "Yes. Grow strong.." He basked in the ambient mana given off by the stones, regaining his own strength. "Mm, my little Leuchtkäfer; my Firefly.."

The temperature of the room began to increase as the wisp grew. Two plumes of flames erupted from the wisp to make it look like it really had flaming wings. Giving the fleshy side of Jesse's face one little stroke, it pulled back. As its 'arm' pulled back, what seemed to be scales began to appear; making a clawed and deadly hand at the end and inches away from Jesse's face. It flew back a good distance away; in the middle of the huge library. There it grew exponentially, soon looming over Jesse in size. As it grew the scales covered its four legged body. The wisp, now appearing more like the flaming dragon which was in Jesse's vision when he first encountered the wisp, roared at the ceiling. The entire Temple rattled. It then lowered its head to the ground in front of Jesse, looking down at him with flaming gold eyes. While the creature was covered in flames, nothing around it was destroyed or harmed. Jesse would only feel a little warmer in the presence of this monster.(sorry for stretching the page >_<)

He blinked, and smiled, laughing some, watching the wisp grow into an immense dragon. He clapped his paws, rising and stroking his clockwork paw over the dragon's muzzle. "Oh, my Leuchtkäfer, how big you are... So perfect..." He shivered lightly, gently kissing his child's snout. "Such a beautiful child.."

The wisp, seemingly named Leuchtkafer, brought his claw over towards Jesse. The claw landed lightly on his back to return the hug.
"...F-Father..." His voice was in Jesse's mind; the voice of a young boy still not capable of piecing together a sentence. The voice stuttered a little due to him not completely sure if that was the right word to use.

"Yes, my son, my Firefly.." He wrapped his arms around the dragon's muzzle, resting his cheek against the male's forehead, ignoring the flames that crackled around him. "I'm pleased with what you can be... But it isn't time for you to be a rampaging dragon and swallow the earth, my Firefly, my Leuchtkäfer, my Jormungand.."

The wisp was glad that his father loved what he could turn into. His dragon form made a pleased moaning sound as it started to shrink in size; eventually becoming its small wispy form again. Now only the size of a six month old kitten, the wisp hugged Jesse's chest and nuzzled into his neck affectionately, "Father..." it said again, still testing out the word. It was more confident that was the correct word to use for Jesse. He is his father anyway.

He smiled, his heart feeling as though it would burst from love for the little wisp. "Yes, my son, my Leuchtkäfer, my Firefly..." He nuzzled back into the wisp, churring in the back of his throat. "Soon, we will play with all the little mortal people.. soon... I will have my revenge upon the gods.. You'd like to help me, wouldn't you? I'm terribly sure they'd all love to play with you, my Leuchtkäfer, my Firefly."
