A solid cylinder of steel came sliding up from a hatch in the floor. As it halted, several pneumatic pumps ejected their leftover pressure, jettisoning a strange red vapor into the room.
"Mr. Enlil, p'raps you'll reconsider my generous offer upon seeing the state of a certain student of yours." And that was when it hit Ialo; his accent was quite distinctly german. The man walked to the cylinder and unlocked and removed the massive steel sheet.
Inside, floating in a pale green fluid, was a student. His body was heavily wired into some sort of machine on the front of the cylinder; it was clear he was unconscious, this device must have been some sort of life support. In many places he had been dissected; large chunks of flesh and muscle were missing, including his entire left cheek.
Amidst the gory vision, Ialo realized at long last who it was.

Set.

With another insult to demonic kind Night snapped "oh really? all demons are evil creature who will kill you on sight? did you know the man you spoke to last night the master if the eye? He was part demon, and do you know what happened? He saw you and he saw riser, the man in the suit you spoke to and all he thought about was protecting you." the thin smoke surrounding him flared."I am insulted that you even consider him something of Evil. ... and five years ago Did you know a demon assisted in saving your disgusting neck form the warrior god riser?" He calmed down momentarily but was on a short fuse with Lin "and you wish for her to cover up her pride as a demon?" he grunted in anger

"We restrained him. In his current state, he is no threat to anyone; we can resume our previous experiments and trials. Had he cooperated, he would have been spared this punishment. I believe I'll have a neurologist run a few tests, I'm beginning to think he lacks cognitive logic altogether."
A second cylinder burst through another hatch next to Set's.
"Ah, I see we have the younger one now." As he removed the steel cover, Horus was floating in a pale red liquid. Unlike his brother, he was still conscious and seemed to be having trouble breathing the oxygenated liquid.
Then Ialo realized something horrifying. He was in pain, he wasn't struggling to breathe. There were multiple bullet holes across his legs and torso, and Ialo began to realize that he was in fact in the same liquid as his brother. The red tint was a result of his blood seeping out.
His entire left hand was a ragged stump.

Still holding Athena's hands, she simply looked at the creature beside them in confusion. "I... have no idea what you are talking about. I am from the East and have no knowledge of your region's confusing history."

((LMFAO, we had school canceled yesterday and while I was sitting at a buddy's house, I used his wifi connection and my hacked out iPod Touch to cancel school today. And it worked! The school thought an administrator posted the cancellation and now were off of school! woo!))

Athena stared at Lin a bit sadly before looking down at their hands. She couldn't look her friend in the face as she spoke. "I... I can't do that. I can't cover up or deny something that's a part of me. I don't want to hurt people, though, and I never have. No one in my family has--not even my cousins on my mom's side, who're mostly yokai. I am what I am... and I'm half yokai."
