Wow, just in time, Xaero!!! *highfives* Excellent post, by the way. You're doing great so far!

Well, as I'm sure you'll all see once you've read my last post, the chapter is over, and the RP will now be closed to further posting for a couple of days while we fiddle with our Wordpads and whatnot to set up CHAPTER TWO!!! WOOOOOT!!!

XD But seriously. Luke is apparently going to make an announcement to us all when he wakes up... sometime today. Or so he plans. Something along the lines of telling us how badass we all are, probably. ^__^

So, while we wait for the RP to resume, here's a loading screen! XD

Good evening, guys. Yes, it's morning, and I should be asleep right now. Yes, I did work all night. Yes, I'm tired as ********. But I don't care, because I needed to stay up for this.

More than one year - that's how long it's been since Izzy made his first post, fresh steps in untouched soil, you might say, kicking off the pebble which has fallen down quite a long way, ricocheting off of rocks on the side of the mountain and eventually creating a rock slide. I remember being so excited the day before Halloween last year... I knew Kal was going to be a great addition to our team, so I put him under Izzy's guidance for the night as I tried - with horrible results - to sleep. But... I had no idea HOW great.

I want to thank you guys so much... Even though it's taken more than a year (which is all mostly my fault) to complete the first chapter, I have nothing to complain about. We've come so far in such a short amount of time - even shorter for our characters; to them, this has just been a single day! XD - and I'm happy that I never gave up on this, even when I was horribly depressed and couldn't seem to be motivated by anything. Shards of Elysia gave me the strength to write again, when my very heart and soul had been crushed and I just didn't want to exist anymore on the best of days. I'm sorry I haven't been here 100% of the time; I wish I could commit a lot more time to this than I am currently able. Someday I will. But right now, I will just have to keep soldiering on as best I can. I want you guys to know, officially, here and now, that I'm never walking away from this. I'm never quitting SoE. It's just not possible for me.

So, with all that cheesy bullshit out of the way, I want to say to you guys, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!

For what? For being so damn kickass!!! s**t, half my NOVELS don't come out as good as this chapter. You guys have done an AMAZING job. I've LOVED reading your posts; if there's such a thing as a Marrow of Life fan, count me in, because I can't get enough SoE! I'm trying to get my fellow Zelda fans down here to attempt to read what we've got so far, because I KNOW they'll love it. The closest I've gotten is Will, who will usually lean over my shoulder and read my posts between my writing them and posting them. XD

I would like to give extra-extra-EXTRA special thanks to Joel, aka Kallori. Dude... I can't even put it into words properly...
Without you, this RP wouldn't even exist. You have done so much more than I could ever dare to ask from anyone. And you do it all apparently just from love of telling the story - I have never been able to properly repay you, except with thanks and awe and amazement at how completely awesome you are. Someday I will... But for now, all I can say is, thank you. Link would be so unbelievably proud. ^_^

Xaero, we haven't had a chance to see you around SoE much yet, but don't worry, I'm literally tingling with anticipation at seeing your stuff in the next chapter. Thank you for opening the door, and thanks even more for sticking around. You are most welcome here - and trust me, the ride's only going to get better and better as time goes by! ^_^

To my main man Iz - Thanks for sticking with me and hanging in there all this time, even though I don't deserve it whatsoever and I'm so ******** difficult to put up with. I know you have a MILLION other things to do with your time. Probably more. I know you could have gotten so much more work done without me. I know you could totally ignore me and everybody else here if you really wanted to. Thanks for doing the opposite. It means a lot to me. And now I want to cry. And cuddle you forever. *glomp* cat_4laugh

Well...thanks, Luke. That was a very touching thank you. I love what we've all done so far, and look forward to the future with promise. Perhaps, someday, we'll be able to rap this RP just as we do with the games, then look back on it with pride for completing it. I will never leave you guys, simply because you're awesome to hang around.

Now I gotta try and think of some decent posts for Sera and Zach. Not sure what I'm gonna do though, especially for Zach...

For Zach he could maybe get more agitated and accuse the members of being egotistical bigots trying to cover their own hides I don't know. But we need something to make Nicole butt heads with him.

Phew! That was a lot of work!

For the moment, I have both Kokiri rendered in paint.net. I had a hard time figuring out Felin's pose, though I have the rest ironed out (even the Hylians) I went through about 6 or 7 ideas before deciding on one last minute as I was drawing it.

Hopefully for your guys' characters, I get the wardrobes right (not you Cody, since you already have a full pic) not to mention color and minor details.

I'm also trying 2 new things with this pic:
Height chart - we've got kids mixed with teens, so I needed something to use without making them disproportional.

Skeleton - You ever picked up one of those "how-to" books on drawing, where they give a very vague drawing to determine a pose before actually drawing it? You know, those blocks with lines. I'm trying that to see if it'll improve my skills overall.

Good post Joel. I was actually thinking the same thing. Oh, and sorry about my huge post, but it was necessary for the build up and start of the conflict. now its your turn to continue.
