Ryu had been wandering around when he saw a light in the distance. At the moment, he had no particular destination and was simply wandering. He hadn't eaten for a few days, but that hardly bothered him. What bothered him was that he was bone-tired from running from Kalman's troops.
He headed towards the light, but after three minutes or so it went out. He pushed on in that direction anyways, not having anywhere else to go. He arrived at a clearing to find a tent with a tree nearby. He stumbled forward a few steps before collapsing on the ground a few feet into the clearing.

"I can't believe he still knows such an old battle formation. Every other nation has moved on to more humane ways of doing things. But that's why Kalman will almost undoubtably win this war, I mean..." He looks at you then says, "War isn't exactly humane is it?"

"No, it's not." Kaome was about to add another statement when her stomach started to growl. "I think we should find a place to eat before we can continue this." She got up, dusted off her pants, and looked back at Xero. "You know any good places?"

Xero thought for a moment before he stood up and said. "Well I think there's a village over that way famous for their food." He pointed to his left. "But I know the area where we just came from is closer, so do you want to take a chance or just go with what we know?"

The next day Matt and Sarah wake up, get dressed, and walk out of their tent. They stretch and look around, seeing where Star was in the nearby area and where Neo was.

He cointuned to walk along as they advanced the sky darkened they were approching nightfall. "Getting dark, you should be careful, dangerous things live out here that don't live in the setlements."
