Hahahahahahaha how delightful. Battlefield 2142 has dataminer software bundled WITH THE GAME that checks what websites you've been browsing while you play, then provides you with appropriate advertisements IN THE GAME. Nothing says hilarious like seeing World of Warcraft billboards while I shoot up my buddies in 2142. I think to myself "Hmmm, EA's right, I should stop giving them money and go play that other game."

And Shazz, I'm not trying to make light of what happened with you, but any words I can come up with sound cheap and insincere, so just do your best to feel better hon, and we'll be here whenever you get back.

I note that the following statement is incomplete. It should end with "couldn't save that company."

Shazzer, I have no idea how to respond to that. I hope that you're okay, though. sad

Vale, what are you talking about? EA's a great company, they just make too many sports games...

That's the problem though Val. EA has a mountain of money and a slave army of programmers churning out Madden games every year at obscene profits because they reuse so much code. They could put crap in a box for all their other games (and I do mean literal actual crap, but with a ten million dollar pricetag as can be found on making any decent game, probably more) and Madden would put them in the green.

Hahaha, the last "This will not work" means of destroying Earth is funny.

That destroying the Earth page has made my week. Particularly the bit about moving Earth like a billiard ball with words like "Big" "Heavy" and "Clonk".

Fortunately for Lykus, most football games are played with some form of leather (once traditonally pig skin, now more commonly a synthetic blend), and not with fecal matter of man's best friend.

Or we could go with "EA Ports: IT'S IN THE GAME (you already bought last year)"

Just something that made me glad to be a part of this guild.

Quoted from the first post, which is probably all you should read before you fall over laughing.

Genius
setting
what do you think? A forest, with mountains surrounding it. There is a dark fog that prevents anyone from leaving the area, and many dangerous creatures lurk in the forest. There can be small villages as well and whatever else your wildest dreams can imagine. Go crazy and try to be creative, because I hate the same old garbage.

Guys, he's tired of the same old garbage. He wants you to be creative because he has so lovingly crafted a generic setting with no means of creative outlet for you. Just to aid in the creative process, he has even taken the time to make sure you cannot leave this setting.

Temptation. To revive Journal. RISING!

Ahh! I've just realized that you haven't updated your journal for a year!

A YEAR. mad

If he had submitted it, it would presumably be in my mailbox. It is not.
