Man I thought the triple battle would be cool, it just seems a bit complicated, and...non-interesting? To me anyways. Tad bit disappointed with that. neutral
Maybe its cause I dont understand it too well right now.

Jerz, it's based on a formation system.
Middle Pokemon can attack any target, but they're the most vulnerable. The left and right Pokemon can only attack the one in front of them, and the middle. Best strategy I think would be to put a bulky Pokemon in the center, and your more fragile sweepers on the sides.

When I attacked, I was unable to use the other 2 on the sides. I didn't even figure out how to swap them. neutral

You were doing a rotation battle then, totaly different rules from a standard triple battle. I havn't tried it yet.

That is a rotation battle, not a triple battle. You switch when you click on attack. It is in the lower left corner. Black version features rotation battles more then Triple Battles.
