Rike stood up and looked at Kaiser square in the eye, "I promised to protect her from anything. There's no higher promise than that Dante." It was the first time in a long time he had said that name, so it was obvious he was serious.
"What do I have to do?"

A few minutes later, Lina came back up wiping the water from her face before smiling up at Remus, "You slept well I hope?" she said, letting her back rest against the chair.

Kaiser sighed again. "Life cannot exist without death, just as death cannot exist without life. For Malen to be reborn... she has to die..." Kaiser looked at Rike grimly. "You understand so far?"

"You want me...to kill my daughter..." Rike replied, his voice very small, "You want me to kill my daughter... My youngest child. My blood.." All the time his voice was getting louder and the temperature was getting higher as he backed away, "The other half of Cyra, the woman who died trying to protect her and the family!" he started pacing back and forth his eyes turning black, "I promised never to kill you and now you want me to kill her?! Are you INSANE?!" By this time steam was rising from his skin and the tale-tell signs of his elemental powers were getting out of his control was clearly showing.
"No... HELL NO!"

Kaiser called on a power he rarely used. A source from the lakes of ice in hell. He stretched out his hand and a suppressive cold surrounded Rike. "Calm yourself! If you don't, Malen may not be the only casualty of this! I have made you agree to nothing! I'm only giving you an option! Or would you rather she remain in C'age's grasp for the rest of eternity!?"

[Please excuse Rike's language, but he is clearly freaking out right now...]
Rike's eyes were literally blazing as steam filled the area, "That's not a ******** option and you know it Kaiser! You know what, ******** you! Let me go now!" And this was where Malen got her temper...
Tears streamed down his face only to buble into vapor, "Let me go now!"

As if on cue, Obsidian came out of nowhere. She sort of fell on him, appearing above and not even bothering to stay aloft. She wrapped her arms around him tightly, "I missed you sooooo much!" She cried.
Merlin hugged herself, the gesture didn't match her expression, "I suppose it would be pointless to tell you to stay away from my Mona. You've already planted your seed. Her thoughts are chaos." She moved further into the temple slowly, "I must say, I find it rather annoying. Are you planning on taking her away?"

"Mona...a strange name to call her really.." Tyr said quietly, "She used to be Saiyiri in one world and Kalai in the next, but her real name has never fallen upon your ears..." his fingers lightly traced the edges of the book, "The seed was already there, I just awakened it once again. She has hid far too long from her rightful place in our home world. She is Laen and not the Monaleth you speak of."
He grinned mirthlessly at her last comment, "Take her away? No, she will decide on her own, but even she cannot hide from her Mother's calls for long. Although it has been many a millenia here, it has only been a blink of Unia's eyes." he watched her enter, making no move to stop her, "I have no wish to harm your world nor take it over. I am only here to take C'age away from this world along with Luna's newest disciple, the one you call Malen."
C'age laughed at her impatience, running a slender finger under her chin, a snakelike mist moving over her body, "There is only one thing I have to teach you, and that is to never fail the Dark Queen..." the mist circled her greaves, forcing her armblades free, "Or you will see just how awful life can be after death." the mist settled into her skin, creating a snakelike tattoo coiling itself around her forearms as the greaves returned to their place.
"And never fail me for will gladly act in Luna's stead."

"She will always be Mona to me, no matter who she is or where she came from. She is bound to me, afterall, you didn't think I was completely ignorant of her, did you?" Merlin wandered over to him, reaching up gently, she moved her hand along his shoulder towards his neck, following after her hand, she slipped in between Tyr and the book he was fiddling with, keeping her hand at the junction where his neck met his shoulder, "And what if she decides, yet again, that she does not wish to go home. Will you force her then?" She murmered quietly. Dark red eyes travled over his face with an air of lazy interest, taking in every plane, curve, and faint wrinkle.

"I am glad you are as smart of a woman as you appear," Tyr replied, watching her for moment before letting his arm fall to his side, "Like I said before Lady Merlin, I am only here for C'age. It is Unia that she'll have to deal with and that is a goddess I dare not interfere with." his darkblue eyes took note of her movements, but only a small glimmer could be seen from them, "And you are here to quietly 'suggest' for me not to interfere with her decision, or something else?"
Silence filled the area soon after that, causing his eyes to stray and fall upon the light pulsating from the marble sized orb he had create before. He then returned his gaze slowly upon Merlin's face.

"Yes, I'd very much like it if you stayed away from her from now on. Unia or not, you might influence her decision." Up her hand moved so that her fingers could twine in the hairs at the nape of his neck. A soft smile made one corner of her mouth pull up slightly, "I think I also wanted to get a nice up close look at you." Her head tilted slightly, "Maybe even a taste, though I highly doubt it, but it's always nice to dream, you smell.....so lovely."

[I just realized that none of our characters have hooked up yet...how odd...lol Not really..]
"If that is what you wish..." Tyr answered, lowering his gaze as he raised arm, the greaves disappearing for a moment, to show his wrist, "Then I have no objections...as long as you allow me a small allowance of my own." he replied, his other hand gently holding her wrist, "I have my own thoughts about you...some I am sure you have heard before..."
It wasn't very clear if he was serious or if he was merely playing it by ear, but what else would be expected of the identical Anullan brothers..

((Well, there was Kanna and Aster, but they're kinda gone for now....))
The slightly glow that usually told others that a vampire was really happy about something lit up her eyes and her smile widened a bit more, "Probably, but I want to hear you say it." She purred softly.
