The characters are like 5 bucks each, and I put the right link in this time.
Nightmare crossed his arms and sat next to Ivy "I lost my mother, I spent a year with my father locked away in his lab. I had no friends, then I changed and spent two years alone and hungry on the streets. Forgive me but I'm still getting used to staying under a roof with someone who cares and not because it's required."
Edge looked up again just in time to get his eyes covered "grrr."

"Well what was I supposed to do. Just ignore you and keep going in that alley?" She blushed. "I'm not a nice person, you just caught me on a good day." She nudged him. "Besides, you were too cute. Nightmare rolled his eyes "and I wanted to swipe your purse, then I found out I had the chance to get a softer bed and a warmer meal if I played puppet for you." He leaned against her "and I don't plan to be, taking care of plants is the last thing I want to do with my life, right now I just want a mom to worry and care for me."

Brightest Day will be coming later today! At least, a good majority of it is. The version I have is missing a lot from the third installment, which means some Flash, JSA, JLA, and some GL is missing. Most likely there's some more missing, but I'm going to see if I can get the rest of it.

Yeah... Apparently, nobody has the complete collection. So, I'll just have to make do with what I have, just bear with me when the tie-ins no longer do their namesake justice.
**EDIT** Scratch that, it looks like I've got a good complete copy, just have to wait for it to finish downloading...

Voice from the future: Don't fret, most respected mother-in-law. Beloved has made a strict policy of not fathering any children with Mira. He doesn't wish to further Ragnarok as a viable pure-blooded species. And she does mature somewhat by the time they grow up. Somewhat.

The voice chuckled. "Not in the least, Mother-in-law. Unless you count providing you with grandchildren much later in life as being a bringer of famine and death. Have I mentioned that she adores the colors pink and green, and I have photos of her and her father dressed up for her tea party with our houseplants as the other guests......?" *snorts and flops over* I imagine it looks something like the tea party at the bottom of this picture, expressions included? The voice gives a silent nod, "Oh yes, except with more ribbons, feathers, dresses, and hats."
