Joker chuckled and nodded at Kalore. "Go relax Kalore." He ordered going to the kitchen and started to make the elf some fruit salad and then left it there, grabbing his phone and calling Gambler. Waiting, the phone on the other hand picked up.
"Gambler? Hey! How are you? Listen I wanted to ask you something...." Joker went into asking and listening to Gambler easily giving Joker the information about Monty's funeral stating that since things were getting on smoothly they were going to have it at night when everyone was able to move out of the sun since there were some vampires who did respect the demon.
"That sounds lovely. I think Monty would have liked that. I have to tell you though that I'm going to either be late or bring a friend since I promise him that I was going to have a meeting about installing a few more employers so I'm going to bring him or be late on my own alright?" "Alright. Just becareful. It looks like a horrible storm is on the rise and might dump a flood on us." "That sounds so scary Gambler!"
Joker laughed cheerfully but then got serious, or as serious as an insane man being funny could be. "Then I'll bring my boat too." Gambler chuckled softly but it wasn't a rich chuckle just a forced one. "I'll talk to you later." "Are you sure your okay?" "As okay as one person can be." she replied, then said her farewell until she hung up. Joker frowned and walked to Kalore's door, knocking gently. "Kalore? I have you something to eat and information."

It hadn’t taken him long to get all of his things out and ready; the suit was hanging in the closet, a simple black and white suit, along with his shoes, the tie, everything. Kalore hadn’t liked how plain it looked, but he wasn’t there for attention or for being creative; no, he was there to make sure that he was able to pay his respects to the demon. The only thing that he had was a flower that involved colors that he really liked… it was a fireflower, a red bloom that was beautiful… absolutely beautiful. There were some forms of it outside of the elvish world, but he personally thought that this looked the best, but didn’t everyone think that? Sighing some, he placed the flower, along with the green rose that he had made, inside of a small case.
He didn’t want to go behind Gambler’s back in doing all this, but apparently he didn’t have a choice. Why was it that all of this had to happen like this? Kalore didn’t understand… he had thought that he and Gambler had reconciled with one another, and he had hoped to make sure that he could be of some help to her, mostly to make up for all of the things that he had ended up causing, but apparently that wasn’t going to happen. Sighing softly, he shook his head some, leaning against the wall before he glanced up, blinking some. “what?” What had Joker said? He wasn’t sure, he hadn’t been paying attention.
Walking to the door, he poked his head out. “Huh?” The words finally registered and he blinked more, nodding some. “Oh… food… Alright.” And information. Sighing some, he walked into the kitchen with Joker, his hands resting in his pockets. Loose jeans… they were so weird.

Joker nodded and sat down. "Listen, I'm going to take you. It's going to be at night so less visiblity. However I'm going to take you there with a sort of disguise. If you'll let me." He said watching Kalore. He hoped that he didn't insult or anything towards the elf with this idea of his. "I was thinking that perhaps you can dye your hair black, change your voice and cover your ears."

Sitting down, Kalore bit his lip softly. A disguise… he understood that but some of the things were a bit hard for him to hide. “I… I could try… I don’t have a hat, and that’s what I would need to use… I can change my voice, yes, get rid of the accent for a while but… black?” Dying his hair black? He hadn’t ever done something like that… did hair dye come out? Kit had used to dye her hair often, having been tired of the normal blonde that the wood elves tended to have, but… still. Biting his lip some, Kalore nodded. “I… I’ll do that, yes.” He wanted to go to the funeral, he wanted to get to where he could pay his respects to Monty. Vanity came second to the importance of that.

Joker nodded and smiled. "Don't worry. I'm going to give you waterproof hair dye so it can stay on if it starts raining." He smiled and pointed at the food of bowl in his hand. "Now eat something alright? I'm going to go get the hair dye ready for you and then we can get started on that." The doctor stood up and clasped Kalore on the shoulder. "Everything is going to be alright. I promise."

Biting his lip, Kalore looked down for a moment, not too sure about this. “I… I hope that you’re right, Joker.” Whispering the words softly, he touched the man’s shoulder but then looked down at the food. It was probably best if he actually did eat something and it wasn’t going to do him any good if he kept looking around, nervous for something that may or may not happen. What was he afraid of? Well… Kalore was worried about a lot of things. He was worried that Gambler was going to flip out on him at the funeral, and that couldn’t happen. No… no, he had to place the flowers at the grave, say a prayer… say his thanks… those things had to happen before Gambler found him.

Kyoshi finished his walk that calmed him down until he could think clearly and well it calmed him. Heading back into the palace he went straight to Dusk's room and knocked gently on the door. "Dusk? Are you there?" He asked gently, not wanting to fight with this woman over political crap. It was always things like this that ended up ruining relationships.
The insane doctor nodded at Kalore and went to make the mixture of black hair dye with blue highlights once the light touched it so that Kalore could have something really nice to wear and blend in. Not only that but he found some clean contacts that can change the color of his eyes if he wished. Perhaps to a light brown or to a blue. "Kalore?" He called out from the open bathroom door. "Can you handle contact lens to change your eye color for tonight?" The man wanted to turn Kalore into a complete stranger to be able to have his time with Monty's grave.

She hadn’t changed out of the outfit, but she was staring at the closet in front of her as she heard the knock on the door, closing her eyes. “What do you want, Kyoshi?” Dusk’s eyes were still a bit red, the dress’ sleeves showing dark spots where she had tried to muffle her own sounds. She looked like a mess but she allowed shadows to unlock the door. What did Kyoshi want to talk about? Dusk and he weren’t going to agree on this mess… and though she wanted to just drop it, she couldn’t; not when Gambler was doing the same thing the elves were famous for doing. She didn’t want this, especially when her people were being judged as well. It wasn’t fair, it wasn’t right. But… she would listen to Kyoshi, even if he only got her back. “It’s open.”
Taking in a breath as he heard Joker getting all of these things ready, Kalore closed his eyes. Somehow, seeming like a stranger was something that he didn’t want to do at all, but if it was the only way that he was going to get to Monty… “I… I can handle that, yes.” He bit his lip softly. “I think… I’ve never worn them before.” Only a few bites of the food were taken and he soon was walking to the other anyway; he couldn’t eat right now, no matter how hard he tried. “Um… do you want me to start this now, then? The hair dye, I mean…”

Kyoshi stifled the flinch of hearing her question. Sighing softly he opened the door slightly but not all the way. "Your not aiming anything sharp at me right?" He asked, not in the mood to getting stabbed, shanked, shot, shadowed and so on. The angel was being cautious and that was better than just going ahead with being direct.
Joker nodded. "Yes, grab a towel to drab around your shoulders and another large on there," He motioned with his head at them on a rack, "For your hair when we are done. I learned this about this stuff from an old friend who used to dye his hair all the time. So I promise to take good care of your hair." He smiled brightly then started to be chatty about what was in the mixture, saying that after alot of testing he concluded that everything was bad for the hair and found subsitutes, what's in that now blackish blue hair dye, that were good for the hair. "Sit on the toilet and let me do this." The seat cover was down so...It was safe."

She kept her back to him, closing her eyes for a moment as she took in a breath. The long, black and white hair covered her back, her arms crossed over her chest, but she felt as though she were the one exposed, ready to be hurt. “No, Kyoshi… what do you want?” Dusk didn’t look back, her hand still holding the shirt that she had planned on changing into. It seemed like she wasn’t going to be able to change for a while. “Come in and close the door, please…”
Nodding slowly, Kalore soon had the towel around him, taking in a breath as he sat down on the covered seat, looking down for a moment. He didn’t want to hide his hair. He didn’t want to hide his eyes. He didn’t want to hide his face, but it didn’t seem like he was going to have a choice. Taking in another breath, he nodded some, allowing joker to talk about the items in the hair stuff, allowing him to just continue to talk and talk and talk, distracting Kalore a little bit. “How… How easy is it going to be to come out? It’s not permanent…. Right?” Goddess, he hoped not. Maybe Kalore really was too vain… but his features, that he thought were good, were very few. He didn’t want to lose them.

Listening to Dusk, Kyo entered and closed the door, leaning back against it. "Dusk...I just wanted to talk." He said, softly, taking in the obvious distance that the woman wanted to put between them. "Look, I don't want you upset or anything. I'm not going to say sorry because it's worthless. But....Please don't be hurt by this okay?" He looked at her with concern.
The doctor blinked. "Hell no. Monty told me that this stuff that I found would wash out with cold water so....Cold water right after this and only warm to keep it in long enough to come back here alright? Then once all this is done you can pretend I don't exist and just mope around the house like a mocher." He said cheerfully, unbothered that he was going to be igorned. At least he was able to help Kalore here.
Finishing mixing everything together, Joker had his gloves on and took a handful of the glob and dropped it on Kalore's hair. "It's so....smushy." He commented, starting to talk around random things while massaging the glob of dye into his hair, making sure there wasn't any smear around his skin to make it all perfect.
It took a while since kalore had alot of hair and it was long but it was good. Grabbing a hair net he placed it on Kalore's head. "Let's wait for a few minutes to let it settle. In the meantime, I have different colored contacts for you to choose from."
Smiling he grabbed a neat little makeup box and showed him the different colored boxes to pick from. "Isn't this exciting? I wish I can change my hair color and eye color too." The doctor pouted that Kalore got to do this even if it was for protection.

Closing her eyes for a moment, Dusk took in a breath as she glanced over her shoulder, watching him. “I wouldn’t be upset if I hadn’t done what you told me to and come here, Kyoshi.” She sighed softly, turning as she closed the closet door, moving so that she could lean against it, watching him. “I’m hurt because of what Gambler’s doing, Kyoshi. I don’t understand it and I don’t know why it is that all of this is happening. I want to ask her, I want to know just what it is that’s going on in her head. It’s hurting so many people; not me personally, but… can you really not feel upset about this?” Her voice was soft. Dusk was trying hard not to take this personally, but a lot of this was just… it was hard.
Kalore nodded a bit, thankful that it wasn’t going to be permanent but the only experience that he had ever had with hair dye had been when they had put the colors in his hair when he had first met everyone. The club mission… right before he and Monty had gotten locked in the elevator… His eyes closed tightly as he felt Joker working on his hair, not even listening to him as he took in slow, careful breaths. He didn’t like this, at all, but now he was faced with his memories. He had been coming back to Gambler’s building, his uniform that of his status with the elves because he had had to do something… but what had that been? He didn’t remember.
What he did remember, however, was the fact that he had gone and gotten his bow, able to make sure that he was working with it properly, coming back in time to find Monty on the ground, face down, having been thrown from the balcony. He had helped him a bit, the two talking horribly to one another, gotten into the elevator and then… and then it had stopped with them on it. They had been trapped for hours and it took everyone much too long to realize it. Rave had known but… he had allowed them to remain trapped there, forcing them to learn a lesson of some form.
He hadn’t minded later, but now… now he wished that rave had made it to where they never were forced to get along. He wouldn’t care so much about all of this is that were the case.
Sighing softly, he opened his eyes when the hairnet had gone over his hair, glancing over as Joker brought the contact colors for him. “What colors would be.. good?” He blinked, touching the cases for a moment, his hand hovering over the red ones. They looked so much like Monty’s color… he shook his head some, looking at others. Golden? Purple? Blue? Brown? Gray? He didn’t know. “Which ones would attract... no attention? Or… does it matter?”

The man frowned. "I didn't tell you to do anything Dusk. I don't control your thoughts or anything, you do. I don't get what I said would make you so mad? Honestly, I'm not affected at all because that's just how I am with politics. I can't stand them but if there's a way to find a compromise then I would go for it. What do you want me to do? Cry about it? Be angry about it?" He furrowed his brows as he watched Dusk, trying to get them to get over this so it's not that big fat cow in the room.
Joker patted Kalore's head. "That's a good question. I think there are going to be demons, shifters, humans and criminals at the funeral that knew Monty. So no doubt there are going to be different looking people there. How about grey? If we put blue on you, you might pass for Rave's brother and let's not go there with that. I think Gambler might off herself if she looked at him or a look a like again. Gray is much softer and less attention seeking." He said, picking one out and putting the rest away, busying himself. "Now then kneel over the tub so I can wash out the dye with the detachable shower head."

“I asked you if I should do this and you told me that I should, Kyoshi.” She frowned some. “I’m not upset about that, I’m glad I did this, but it’s made me care more. I have to care about politics now because when politics don’t work then nothing works.” She sighed some, shaking her head. Dusk didn’t want to get mad at this man, really, she didn’t, but she didn’t know what to say that wouldn’t set him off again. “I want you to explain this to me. I want you to actually understand that I can’t sit back and nod when something like this is happening without you getting mad at me and threatening to leave me, Kyoshi.” Out of everyone, that one act was what hurt her the most. She knew that there were going to be issues with them but… not because of this. She hadn’t expected this to be the cause.
Kalore nodded some, sighing before he moved so that he was able to sit down, kneeling, before allowing Joker to do what he needed to. His eyes closed, probably tighter than what they should, but then he took in another breath. “Gray it is, then…” It was obvious that he didn’t like this at all, but what was he to do about it? Any time that he decided to say no to something, to move away, he would just remind himself why he was doing this. It would be worth it… it would be completely worth it to pay his respects to Monty. That’s all that he wanted. “The funeral… it is tonight?”

Kyoshi narrowed his eyes at her. "I did because I know you can do great things. However, not once did I ever say nor implied that you sit back on this. But, what would I know right? I'm not a leader of a nation and might never be one, but know this, all I implied was to talk before anything was announced because no doubt Gambler being a leader on her own right would be making out details and not just things with no structure. If there's something like those laws with structure yes it's going to cause problems for everyone." It was obviously causing problems between them because they thought too differently and between them, they couldn't see each other's point of view despite Kyoshi doing his best to understand through the elf's perspective.
"I never made a threat to leave nor getting mad at you. Your pushing me away because you don't want to argue about this. I'm just offering to be the middle man since you might not control yourself around Gam and that might make things worse. What ever your afraid of then becareful. It might come to pass." Kyoshi looked away with clenched jaw. "I'll dismiss myself if that pleases you, Your Highness."
Joker made sure that the water temperature was comfortable and started to wash Kalore's hair with color treatment shampoo and conditioner. "Yes, tonight. We have time to be there. I want us to be in the back or the far side of the group where Gambler isn't too close." After finishing the quick and thorough rinsing of his hair, he grabbed the large towel and dried the hair gently, making a towel wrap for Kalore. "You can take a shower here and change at your own pace, I'm going to get my things ready okay?"
