When Mimi hit the ground, she looked almost lifeless after she coughed up blood. She looked around the area and recalled everything she saw from Tryton's sealing effect. Her father continuously murdered her mother over and over again, he causing pain and changing her into a monster and her actually snapping the man's neck. As she was shown these visions she had noticed something she never has before. her father was working on something right when she snuck up on him to snap hiss neck. Alongside him was a note that said Dear Mimi. Since she was in the dream as a spectator, she was able to read the notes contents after getting tortured. The note read:

I've found the errors of my ways and I regret everything I've done to you and your mother over the years. I wasn't in my right mind and I've devised a plan to make it up to you. I designed a new experiment where I can bring back your mother and return you to your normal state. ( Reason why she was possessed every time unconscious) I will set ablaze to everything in order to keep you safe. ( Lastly, the fire created throughout the mist. It was like he was litting a match on everyone that came in contact with her and tried to take her out.) I know this isn't enough to help you forgive me from what all I have done to you, and I hope you don't try to keep your hate for me to live on forever. Even if you replace me for someone better, I completely understand. I hope that nan doesn't make the same mistakes as I.
