It was Marcus's turn to grin as he nodded his head, tossing his duffel bag behind the bar counter. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Hunter. Er...could you keep an eye on this? It has my hunting equipment." With that and not really waiting for a reply, the man walked up near Kerrigan.
"Thanks for the aid. Sorry about the whole...um...shooting you deal." With that, Marcus chuckled and looked down the trapdoor. "Also, what kind of security measures are we talkin' about exactly?" Though his voice hasn't wavered and his facial expression showed little to no discomfort about his wound, his skin tone was beginning to lose color. "If you need my gun, I'm not going in. I never leave my pistol." Giving a weak smile, Marcus shrugged his shoulders. "Sorry, a habit that won't die nor will I give up."

"Don't worry about it. Trust me, you get used to being shot at as a non-human hunter," she replied with a small chuckle, tossing her black curls over her shoulder. The wounds on her chest and shoulder had already almost completely healed, the huntress looking at the new hunter as he peered down the entrance to Haven. His inquiry about the security measures was not uncommon - she recognized the same concerns she had when she first came to Haven.
"Don't worry. No one wants to take your weapon. I dare someone to try and tear me away from my desert eagles. We more just want to make sure that the wrong people don't make it into Haven. There are UV lights and silver plating all over the security room. Once the guards approve you, they'll open the door and we can get you to the lower levels to see our medic, Gail." Giving him a small wink, she reached over and pushed the button for the intercom into the security chamber.
"This is Kerrigan. I have a new hunter coming down, and I won't be far behind. Make sure the U.V. lights are off once he gets through." Nodding to Raven to show that they were ready for him to go down and he wouldn't have any problems, she shifted her body around the back of the trap door to give him a little more room to go down with his hurt shoulder. There was more of a sense of urgency as time went on. He might have a very composed exterior, but she could tell that he was losing more and more blood with each moment they stood lingering at Haven's entrance.

Though Marcus was trying to give a comical weak smile, he had a feeling it looked worse than he thought as he attempted to twist the corner of his lips into a smirk. Adjusting himself around the trapdoor, the wounded Hunter began his decent, attempting to use his good arm as much as possible. Despite this though, pain continued to pulse from his wound till he finally ended his decent.
In a UV rich environment, Marcus spotted the men armed with automatic weapons trained on him. Raising the hand with the wounded shoulder up while the other kept pressure on his shoulder, Marcus gave them the same weak smile as he attempted to give the Vampiric Huntress.
"Hi. Guess you guys are the welcoming committee." A chuckle with no strength behind it escaped the Hunter as he studied the security room he was in. Once the men saw him not only as a human, but also heavily bleeding, The UV lights quickly shut off and normal florescent bulbs flickered to life to fill the world with color again.
"I think it's safe to come down now." Raven shouted to the entrance of the trapdoor, his brown eyes never straying from the armed men. Though they were fellow Hunters, Marcus knew better than to turn his back on a man with a gun pointed at him. Quietly, the wounded man waited for his guide to join them and lead them to the medical room to see Gail the medic.

Alexander looms out of an alley, he has learned that this is a haven for all hunters although he has betrayed them, he knows that none of that matters. All that does is finding his beloveds killer and this is his best shot. He smiles to himself, as he notices there is two bouncers out in front like that is much of a challenge for him. "Evening gentleman" he says to the bouncers before he quickly knocks both down with the blunt end of his shrukien blade. "I'll let myself in" walking in through the door, noticing how large the place is.

As Alexander walks very calmly through the bar, he notices he is getting some weird looks from some of the patrients though quickly brushing it off, he approaches the bar. "Bartender!" he yells to get the barman's attention, the barman looking quite angry for being called over unserimounisly walks over to him. "Yes sir" ,the barman says through gritted teeth, "What would you like?". "I require no drink, only information. I hear that New York has the largest population of vampires, lycans and such, correct?" Alexander says. "Yea, so?" the bartender replies wondering where this is going. "I'm looking for a vampire" Alexander says very seriously.

Kerrigan stood at the top of the trapdoor, waiting for the all clear before she could go down herself. It was a pain in the a** sometimes, being a vampiric hunter, but something she had learned to deal with over the years. As soon as she heard someone call up to her, Kerrigan rounded the trapdoor, descending quickly as the door closed above her. Jumping off the ladder a few rungs from the top, the security guards looked her over as she gave them a little wink, before motioning for the two of them to proceed into Haven.
"See? Not so bad, is it," Kerrigan said to him with a joking tone in her voice, pausing once she got through the large door to make sure he made it through alright. Joking around was her way of showing concern - she knew how much she hated it when people worried over her, and so she tended to extend the same courtesy to others. As soon as he was through and ready, she turned and started walking him through Haven, taking the most direct route to the Infirmary as possible. As they passed points of interest she would point them out, though not for one second did she really pause. He needed to get checked out before she could give him a grand tour.

"Easy for you to say." Marcus weakly chuckled, giving the woman a sly smirk as he quickly followed her. Though his body felt drained and he had this strong urge to sleep (not from his wounds, but being on the road for a week to get to New York), Marcus still managed to keep pace. Perhaps it was curiosity that pushed him, for in California, the Hunters there never had complex hideouts such as this. In fact, most of the Hunters worked in small cells and met each other through social networks like Myspace or Craig's List. This place was in a whole level different from what he was use to. Especially with this vampiress.
Lagging some to get chances to study the woman, Marcus had to confess she was quite the looker. But the pale skin and inhuman grace she carried simply screamed her vampiric blood. And that was one thing that turned the man off some.
"Boy, look at all the toys you guys got down here..." The guest uttered, attempting to not sound like a tourist, but he knew that probably failed him greatly as they past several rooms. It wasn't long though before they reached what he assumed was the infirmary.

After learning almost nothing from the idiot barman, Alexander decideed he needed to find someone who was more competent who would give him answers. The only thing he was able to learn from the barman was where the entrance to the haven is in the corner down a trapdoor. Alexander quickly dropped 2g's,rolled up, down on the bar for the barman's help and proceeded to the trapdoor. He noticed their was an itercom on the wall above the trapdoor, buzzing the intercom asking for entrance saying nothing else. After getting the all clear, Alexander quickly open the trapdoor and dropped inside, not before putting on his shades. Alexander who was part vampire knew it wasn't smart move but he had learned to overcome the sun "Evening gentlemen, glad of you to do your job" He says smartly. As soon as the guards let him pass into the Haven, rather quickly not enjoying his attitude, Alexander went on to find some allies to help him in his mission. First stop would be the Armory, as soon as he found it, quickly making note where everything was as he passed by down the hallways. [Exit to the Armory]

After being presented a temporary room to change in, Marcus couldn't help but let out a loud sigh once the vampiress retreated to her own den. It took a lot of his effort to keep himself as composed as he did before the woman and now that he was alone, the dark haired hunter just let it all out in that sigh and closing of his eyes. There was something about Kerrigan that Marcus found...intriguing. Something more than the fact she was a Huntress much like himself and a vampire at that. Either way, the man studied the simple room and opened his duffel bag. He would dwell on such random thoughts later.
Resting on top of all his gear was a very clean H&K MP5 with a modified barrel to support a sound suppressor. Instead of hearing the load crackling of gunfire from his weapon, the sweet whispers of thump would echo. Marcus couldn't help but smile upon gazing on the black surface of the Machine Pistol, his hand unconsciously grazing along its curve. Snapping out of his lost thoughts though, Marcus went back to unpacking, removing several clips, harnesses, belts, grenades, and finally his specialty clothing he wore only on hunts.
It didn't take the man long to don on his special dark colored clothing and tactical vest, nor to fill every pocket with ammo, grenades, and other miscellaneous things he used during his tour of duties. It was all instinct when it came to preparations. Now clothed from head to toe with his hunting gear, Marcus slung his MP-5 over his shoulder and put his AR-15 back into his duffel bag. Though the man wished he could take the assault rifle, Raven had a feeling it would be overkill, especially with his new friend being with him.
Putting away his civilian clothing into the duffel bag, Marcus checked all his magazines and weapons once more before grabbing his goggles and black balaclava and heading out to the bar. As he left, Marcus gave a small nod of acknowledgment to a few guards who he had the pleasure of meeting earlier. As he reached the surface and was back into the bar, the Hunter looked over to the barkeep, smirking at the raised brow Mr. Hunter gave him.
"Thanks, Mr. Hunter, for watching my gear. If I could ask for another favor, could you keep an eye on this gear once more? When Miss Kerrigan and I return, I'll be sure to pay you for your serves." Marcus said as he then reached into his pockets of his fatigue pants to pull out a couple of twenties. He placed them on the counter along with his duffel bag as he continued to smile at the old man.
The Hunter, who didn't look the age of 50ish, grunted and took the money, shaking his head in the process as he slipped the cash into his pocket and went about to cleaning already clean glasses. "I woulda done it fer free, boy." The bartender grunted as a toothy smile played across the man's face. Marcus couldn't help but mimic the old man as his attention went to the doorway he entered earlier. Breathing in deeply, Marcus let out a loud exhale before adjusting himself some in his heavily armored gear. It's been about a month since his last hunt and since then, the Hunter hadn't gotten over it.
Glancing over to the barkeep with amusement, Marcus moved towards one of the unoccupied tables in the bar and sat down, his gear rattling and shuffling as he sat. This caused the man to recheck himself, tightening loose straps and such to decrease the amount of noise his gear made. Adjusting the strap on his modified MP, Marcus took his black mask and put it over his face and adjusted his strange looking blue lens goggles. Instantly the world was in the shade of green, red, and grayscale upon looking through one of his most prized possession.
Beneath his mask, the man smiled. Now he felt like he was one even grounds with all that walked the Earth and preyed on the innocent. Now he felt complete and ready for anything. With that as his final thoughts, his attention went back to the backdoor the secret entrance to the Hunter's HQ was, wondering what kind of gear might Miss Kerrigan be wearing. Though he tried his best, several brief images came to mind, all of which were the kind he fantasized about but knew would never come to fruition. A quieter sigh escaped from beneath the mask now as the realization of how long he has been single or even been on a date has occurred to him.
"Blah...no point worryin' about that now..." The masked man mumbled as his attention went to his holstered Jericho, checking to see if the safety was on and the magazine was full of bullets.

Kerrigan arrived in Hunter's, glancing around the practically empty bar until she caught sight of Raven, sitting as he waited for her. He was decked out in full hunter gear, making her momentarily wander if she should sneak back down and change again. However, feeling bad that she had already made him wait this long, the huntress decided it would be best just to go on. Hopefully they wouldn't encounter anything to require full hunter gear on a night like this, though it wasn't entirely out of the question. She had her own thin kevlar bustier on under her clothes, she never left Haven without it, and so she just told herself over and over that it would be fine.
He would probably hear her before he saw her, her boot heels clicking against the ground as she approached him, a broad grin settling on her lips.
"Sorry to keep you waiting. Ready to go?"
Once he said he was ready, she pulled her jacket on, which was just long enough to cover her magnums from view on her thighs, linking arms with him with a playful grin. Despite everything, she was having a good time, and it showed as the pair walked out into the city.

Upon hearing the clicking of boots coming his way, Marcus gave a grin beneath his ski mask and turned to see who it was. Even in his strange spectrum of vision, Marcus could notice the attractive attire, all though it was interesting seeing portions of her body in blue, a sign of her undeath. Now Marcus felt a little silly wearing his armor gear and weapons the way he did, but once more, this was how it was in California. Hell, at times, Marcus felt under prepared with some of the folks he went hunting with.
Giving out a loud wolf whistle, Marcus crossed his arms over his chest as he let one head tilt to a shoulder. "My oh my...I can see why you took so long. Er...boy, talk about being a tad overdressed, eh?" The man mused as he then looked down at his tactical vest and its assortment of grenades. A sigh escaped from the masked man as he got up on his seat and gave a quick nod.
"I guess I am ready, though I gotta say I feel like an idiot next to you. You look...er...how can I put this without sounding awkward? Um...stunning?" He then chuckled as he walked closer to her as she put on her jacket to hid her ordnance. Marcus sudden went sober as he realized he didn't bring any long coat to hide his own gear from the public eyes. It was then a whistle caught his attention, causing him to turn towards the old bartender. Hunter had a large grin on his face and winked at Marcus as he reached out from beneath his counter for something. In a blur it was in the air, instantly caught by one hand by Marcus. It was a long black trench coat.
"Oi! Don't ferget yer coat." The aged hunter shouted as he gave another wink to both Kerrigan and Marcus before returning his attention to his already spotless counter. Marcus repressed the urge to chuckle as he put on the large coat, its flaps long enough to conceal his MP-5 and flank jack.
"I guess now I'm ready." The man mused as he suddenly realized the woman locked her arms with his with her beautiful grin. Marcus couldn't help but grin back, though his heart beat raised a bit at the touch of the woman. In moments, they were out to the city.

Without much regard for anything or anyone, Meredith shouldered past the guards, who were going to grant her access to the haven which she oversaw anyhow but she waved them off and simply muscled her way through them if they were to slow to react. She quickly registered herself and made her way through Hunter's though she didn't stop to give Hunter a nice smile and wave as she usually did so that already tipped the man off that something wasn't quite right. He decided to let her go and let her do what it was she felt she had to do since it appeared getting in her way and bothering her at the moment wouldn't result in anything pleasant for his old bones. Of course, Meredith wasn't going to beat the s**t out of anyone but she certainly wasn't going to be gentle in forcing them out of her way when she was adamant on reaching her destination of which she only had one. She was going to the training room and she was going to beat the absolute s**t out of the entire room if that's what it took to improve her mood.
Perhaps it was selfish of her but at the very least she wasn't beating the s**t out of the actual elder who's head she wanted to knock off at the moment. She was able to be more mature than an elder and she was only twenty years old. What the hell was wrong with the world? How could Neko do that to someone she called her friend? Clearly she was the shittiest friend in the world and Meredith wasn't about to kiss and make up with her for her to lose her temper over Meredith refusing to indulge her and attempt to maul her. The difference, though, between Meredith and William would be that Eden would expect it and she would give that Godforsaken elder a lesson in f--king up her family and ruining everything. Neko would not escape unscathed from a battle with Edith, not on either of their lives. No matter what, Meredith knew if Neko ever started anything with her that she would not tolerate it at all and would simply beat the s**t out of her and ask questions later.

Suddenly the main door flies open so hard that it almost stays in place before it finally starts to close. Drew stumbles in with his skin looking an almost an irritated grey color and his veins swelling out. He makes his way over to the bar counter and almost slips as he struggles to get onto the bar stool. "Next time I use the employee entrance..." Drew mumbles to himself. As he slowly starts to recover from the silver lining in the main door, he waves over the bar tender and try's not to slur his words as he asks for a glass of ice cold mountain dew.

Walking past the stoic guards and the many security systems the bar held, Marcus glanced around the quiet and empty bar. Though the room wasn't totally empty. Once more, behind the bar counter, was aged Hunter who was ironically named "Hunter". This thought let a smile grow on Marcus's face as he walked deeper into the bar and took a seat at the counter, his one arm propped on the cleanly polished wooden surface. Hunter looked at the man with amusement before producing a small shot glass and quickly filling it with an unmarked label.
"Drink. Ya look like ya need it." The old man insisted, his strange accent echoing in the quiet bar. Marcus gave a nod of thanks as he took the glass, raised it in the air as a small salute and swallowed the contents down. The liquid burned from inside the mouth all the way to the stomach, causing a face of disgust and potential vomiting to appear on the younger Hunter's face. "Good, no?"
Marcus then let out several coughs before slightly regaining his posture. He couldn't help but laugh as he gave a nod. "What the hell *cough* is that? s**t tastes like Sake' mixed with Jager and then piss." Almost complete in collecting himself, Marcus pushed the shot glass away and motioned for another glass of something else. "Water. Just give me water. God...there's an aftertaste?!" He moaned as he then began to gag.
This caused the bartender to erupt in laughter as he pours a glass of cold clear water into the shot glass. He slid it to Marcus and shook his head. "Puts hair on the chest, boy." The Bartender said, selling his drink with the most obvious reason one would buy it. This caused Marcus to nod and take a few gulps of water to wash the acidic aftertaste from his throat and the back of his mouth.
"God...Yeah. Grows hair, kills it, then grows it again." The man mused as he finally felt a little better. Looking around the bar, Marcus leaned in and glanced at the Keep, who now put his attention to cleaning his glasses. "Anywho...any news come about lately?" Marcus asked, his curiosity wondering if news of what happened in the alley reached Hunter. Hunter glanced at Marcus and grunted.
"Boy, that'd be yer business. The only news I pick up 're is CNN 'n FOX, but that's only if I feel like laughin'. Only thin' I could tell ya is to be careful. Watch yer back. And stay weary of 'em people 'ere. We got alot of youngin's totting guns now and well...it worries me. They ain't experienced like us and they rather shoot first than ask first. That's what gets us Hunters in touble, ya see?"
Marcus nodded as he listened, taking a smaller sip of his drink before leaning back in his seat. "I see...why? Has this place been in trouble before?" That was the question that must of struck a cord with the aged Hunter, for he stopped and glanced at Marcus with a stare of remorse.
"More than what I like to be seein'. He replied before putting away the glasses he was working on. He slowly moved his way over to Marcus and leaned close over the counter as he narrowed his piercing deadly eyes upon the man. Yes, Hunter was at least over fifty years old, but he still managed to have that aura of a man who could kill in minutes.
"Wanna an advice? Stay out of trouble. You go out. You kill 'em bad vamps and dogs. You come back. KISS. You kno' wha' KISS is? Keep It Simple Stupid. See, that be the problem now...these kids don't make it simple anymore. There ain't no lines drawn no more. At least that's how it be feelin' with me nowadays. I know I ain't alone in this either..." With that, Hunter leaned back and turned his attention to the counter. Marcus, who remained quiet, nodded his head as he took in the old man's words. He was right. The world was no longer simple. Now, monsters aren't monsters. Kerrigan, Edith, and Veroen showed him that.
"Well, it was good chattin' with you, Mr. Hunter. Thanks for the drink. I'll come back again for another one as soon as the urge to vomit goes away." Marcus smiled at the man before leaving down to the hidden entrance that lead further into the Haven's compound. There he would head straight to his room.
