"It was worse then the last try...Why is it doing this? I was so close that time that i could feel it..." This wasn't as tough as the jutsu he learned a little while ago. "Okay, once again...Chakra to the feet and focus it like always..." he said as he tried to walk once more.

He grumbled once more as his foot just went through as if there was no chakra in his feet. "Ugh..." he sighed as he took a rock from the shore and threw it to skipped it along the top. "Hn...Maybe it could be about balance also..." He said as he walked on the surface of the water once more.

"Bah..." He kicked the water in anger as he failed once again, the Idea he had failed just like him trying to do the walking on water. "Maybe I'm rushing to much..." He told himself as he tried it once more.

(3/3 17dc) A small and slow laugh escaped the genins mouth until a small chuckle came as he couldn't believe he actually did it. "Neko-sensei!" Katagi walked onto the shore and back to Deezer and Cassidy. He was glad that that was over...now walking on trees or the new jutsu was left. "Welcome to the team." He said with a bow and at that time he saw the black Mamba. "G-Gah! That's a poisonous snake!" He took out a Kunai in response of the poisonous snake that was there around them.

(Sorry sensei... had a tahnksgiving break without the internet... )
Shuiro turned as her sensei spoke. Isn't that contradicting yourself, sensei? You just said I was going to have to complete the exercise, without rest, no matter how long it took... now you just took away the challenge... oh well, I'm hungry anyways... She punched the half boulder lightly as he spoke, random thoughts flowing through her head.

She yawned as she gave the stupid rock another punch. She wasn't hitting anywhere near it's weak point... she wished she would fine the soft spot soon too. She decided to take a different approach and gently felt around it's edges and see what she could find with that. There had to be some clue...

Deezers hopped up on Katagi's shoulder, and hung around his neck. He whispered into his ear and stated the facts,
"Child, please, that snake has . . ."special ties" with her and does not pose any threat to us, please be without fear."
With that he hopped down and looked at both of them. he turned to Kuraku and spoke,
"Surely you understand that it's best that you do not share your power or where you got it from, that is until Krayte helps you control it, but until then, keep it under your hat. And you Katagi, nice to see that you're done, please take a little breather before we press onward."

"S-special ties?" He wondered what this girl was and if it was a blood line, he always was jealous of people with bloodlines as they always had an upper hand in some battle. "This isn't good...If we ever had to train...would she always win due to what she was born with?" He looked over from Deezer to Kuraku. "Sorry that I sound like a broken record but, It's nice to meet you...I'm sure we'll work together just fine." he said with a slight bow as he always thought it was respectable to do so. "Okay sensei." he began to walk to rest next to a tree and before he reached it he turned around. "Then again...Should I help her incase she needs any help?"

Shuiro stiffly kicked the stupid rock every once in a while. Drawing in breath, she tried to figure out the puzzle that was the weakness. Nothing came to her. What could she expect though... not everything was going to be simple... Wasn't it a challenge like this that drove her on? Trying to put in more concentraition, she continued in her attemps at breaking the boulder.

Cassidy nodded with a stoic look on her face to her teammate. "It is nice to meet you too." she said with little emotion in her voice. "Kuraku-dono, that was rude. You should be more-" the snake was cut off by a glance from Cassidy. He had heard what the cat had said as well and decided it was best that they didn't talk. Cassidy looked out at the water and recalled what the cat had said. She concentrated her charka to her feet, and as she entered into the shallow water she found that her feet were gently gliding on top of the water's surface.

Sabi was very proud of his girl and said looking into Cassisy's emerald eyes, "Kuraku-dono that was great I-" It seemed that his congratulation was a bit preemptive seeing as the second Cassidy was distracted. Cassidy looked at Sabi, still remaining collected, without emotion, yet still maintaining a sensitive tone in her look. The snake took the signal and remained silent letting her regain her concentration.

When she walked off he could hear the emotionless greeting she gave him. "Tch..." He responded to her cold greeting as he continued to the tree to rest for the moment. Yawning a bit he knew this was going to be harder then he thought as his dark secret he never let out was his lack of respect to those with blood lines that helped them be a shinobi. "Just great...I would of changed my opinion about blood lines helping become great shinobis." He began plucking the grass from the floor until he saw that she was successful on the first try. "Lucky..." He said as if it was beginners luck contradicting on when he said he got lucky on the water walking.
(it's okay, happy thanks giving ^_^.
XD i can see that they're not going to start on the best start of a friendship.)

Within the silence, Kuraku could feel that her concentration had returned and with little unease she returned to a state of tranquil standing, letting the charka collect naturally at her feet and stabilizing herself as the water beneath her began to ebb and flow, up and down, and overall the way water should be acting.

Kuraku could hear the words her teammate said and tried to keep her concentration. "So you dislike because of the way I was born?" she asked her peer with her same stoic voice. And although her voice was cold, inside she felt a flicker of anger towards her comrade. Her feet remained planted, but the fury that began to course through her veins was making it hard to concentrate.

Deezers sighed as the obvious tension between the two students. Even if they weren't best friends, they should still understand the importance of working as a team. He jumped around, pouncing at insects. If he werent as intelligent as he was he'd be tempted to pounce that snake . . .but he ignored the domesticated cat voice insdide him and continued his frolicking around while Kuraku worked. He eagarly awaited her completion to really test their teamwork . . .
