Character name, rank, and a link to their journal Senshi Vela senshi of bonfires
HP: Koed
Action: Attacking the gernator
Damage : Being attacked
Location: F4 > D6

Vela was glad she got one more attack in before she fell to the ground and passed out. She didn't get a chance to say anything to the corrupt that had attacked her as she fell down and lost consciousness.

[Cosmetic fire enhancement. Vela flames flare around her when her emotions are majorly affected.]

Dance of embers

Vela dances around a bonfire bidding the flames to burn higher and higher embers flying into the air. The enemies the embers fall on receive the feeling of small stinging burns. (Lasts 30 sec. ) (Can be used twice per battle) 5 ft range. (Only feels like burning)

Corrupt Sailor Mizuki, Senshi of Lilacs
HP: 0 and just having a rest
Action: Being remolded by Chaos!!!
Damage: Only to herself
Location: F2, as a pile on the floor haha

Her hiding wasn't going enough. The generator behind her went off twice in succession, each blast hitting Mizuki in the side and back with full force. She tumbled forward from the impacts, landing on her stomach. Everything hurt, everything ached, and she just wanted to go home. She wanted to see her little brother, her parents, her friends. She never wanted to power up again. Tendrils of long hair - longer than she'd ever had before - curled around her chin and on the ground around her. The Chaos in the air pressed her down, down down, promising peace and release from all the pain and all the fighting.

The agent attacked again and Mizuki went limp on the ground.

She wasn't dead. No death would be painless and more like stepping out of her skin. This was pain, everywhere, all at once. Chaos slithered up her limbs, curling around her head and torso, until she was covered in a bubble of it. Even the ground seemed to disappear from beneath her.

I don't want to die...

This wasn't death, the darkness around her said. But rebirth, if she but let it.

Help.... me...

All it requires, is your everything.

I don't... I don't want to do this anymore... I don't want to hurt.

The darkness waited.

Please... I don't want to be afraid anymore...

All at once, the darkness slammed into her, tiny pinpoints of pain and agony all over her body. Mizuki screamed, the sound smothered by the Chaos around her. It bore into her, seeking for the place it wanted the most. Her starseed. It glowed there, somewhere in her chest, vibrant lilac purple with light and hope within it.

Chaos swallowed it whole, turning it dark with power.

Mizuki didn't know how long she kept screaming or how long she laid there in pain. She clawed at the darkness around her, the grass below that in agony. Every bone felt like it was shattering and healing at once, every muscle groaned and snapped and worked again. Her chest felt like it was on fire, like someone was burning her from the inside out. Everything hurt, and her body would not shut down. It wouldn't shut off. Her body should have shut down her consciousness by now out of self preservation, but no, no she was awake and conscious.

Be reborn, Sailor Mizuki, and feel no fear for you have survived the fires of Chaos, with your being intact.

Mizuki blinked, staring up at the sky between the moving bodies above her. They were... fighting. Why were they fighting, again? Her mind was hazy, only little things seemed to stick out to her. Her name, her powers, the Chaos under her skin. Her body ached - must have been fighting herself at one point - and she didn't have the energy to get up.

Whatever had happened while on the ground, Mizuki was glad for the respite and the moment to just... be.

Corrupt Sailor Mizuki let her eyes slide shut, a smile on her face and no fear in her heart of hearts.

Character name, rank, and a link to their journal Corrupt Sailor Suzaku, Senshi of the South
HP: 50
Action: Getting down with the sickness chaos aaand attacking the first Order she happens to see.
Damage 6+3+2+5 = 16 Damage
Location: F2

Things had gone to hell so quickly. So, so quickly. To say she'd been blindsided by everything, might have been a bit of an understatement. People were everywhere. Passed out on the ground, slumped against people and things… At each other's throats. There were bits of destroyed metal and machinery littering the expanse of the battlefield. Suzaku could hardly believe it. All she could do was simply state.

Unfortunately, in her sheer bewilderment, she'd failed to notice the chaotic energy creeping towards her until it was too late.

Suzaku gasped suddenly, as if it was hard to breathe. Her body shook and jolted as chaos seeped into both herself, and her uniform. Her hair grew at a rapid pace, pooling at her feet as her white tunic dimmed, darkening into a piercing black. And then as quickly as it had set in, it was gone and Suzaku felt as if she could breathe once more. She blinked, looking around at everything in a new light.

Or should she say darkness, at this point? Either way.

A laugh catches her attention and she turns, finding a Knight who had quite the beef with a General. Well… That just wouldn’t do now would it?

“Southern Wind.” She said, pointing at the lovely Knight, as she bounced up towards the General. “Need a hand??”

Noir Songbird
Guess things really went south for Suzaku, huh?

Whimsical Blue
Whoops, you happened to be the first one she saw.

Sailor Scout Attack: Southern Wind
Saying the name of her attack, Suzaku points at an enemy. The spectral image of a firebird comes from behind them and starts spinning around them. This causes the person to be enveloped in a cylinder of fire. The fire is obviously not real, but if they were to try and run through it, it would still hurt. Inside the cylinder, the person is blasted with hot, dry air. This attack can be used on one to two people at a clip. Suzaku can use this attack three times, though the magic only lasts for twenty-five seconds.

Super Sailor Cybele
HP: 12
Action: Attacking Jet due to him kinda being a jerk
Damage 3 + 5 (rank) + 2 (basic magic) = 10
Location: F2

The generator in front of Cybele flickered and died under the continued assault.

Perhaps some of the relentless Chaos in the air around them flickered, as well. Cybele was not sure. The patches of black on her dress and the tiny cracks in her chest were no longer growing, but they were not receding, either. Her starseed still hurt, burned, fighting back against the darkness.

The rest of her still felt numb, and then even number, so numb that for a moment, she considered giving in.

No, she thought, with all her remaining willpower. She knew that a minute ago, she would have rather died. She knew that Ganymede had asked her to keep fighting.

For some reason, that stuck with her more than her own willpower.

Her eyes flicked to the general in blue, the one who had slashed at her once, who had called her a traitor, the one who had killed the purified senshi. A threat. He was fighting that Transcended Senshi (Kerberos), now, and not wanting to leave them alone, Cybele sprinted the few steps between them, calling on the last of her magic to keep her as focused as she could be.

There was also a thought in the back of her mind somewhere, under the apathy, that even if things went wrong with this one, at least she wouldn't end up as a puppet again.

Paradise, Page of Cosmos
HP: 3
Action: Attacking the generator in D6
Damage 7 (roll) + 3 (rank) + 1 (faction) = 11
Location: D6

Paradise let out a yelp of pain as she was attacked from behind. How rude! Attacking a lady from behind like that. Empyrean had been attacked too, knocked to the ground unconscious. She stumbled and fell to her knees, and whimpered to herself knowing it was going to be such a pain to try and get back up. There was still Chaos pouring down on them, into them.

She didn’t know how much longer she and Empyrean could last, but she knew that the rest of these brave young Senshi and Knights and Mauvians were fighting so hard to stop the generators. Half over Empyrean to keep him protected from any kind of debris from when the generator would surely explode too, Paradise took her other shoe to throw, hoping to give it at least some damage.

Knight Andronicus is trying to hit Lyndin in such a way to give someone a chance to grab Caedus' starseed!

Knight Andronicus of Uranus
HP: 25/100
Action: Second verse, same as the first, going to hit Lyndin and hopefully gain an opening for some one to grab that crystal
Damage: 8 (1d10) + 7 (Rank) + 3 (Non Magic Damage) = 18
Location: D3 -> D2

Andronicus was getting really, really tired. Not just in energy, but in patience too. Black had climbed up her uniform at this point, Chaos was trying to eat her from the inside out, and she was annoyed. Annoyed that these Cadets had more loyalty to their Commodore than she'd ever seen any of Order ever be loyal to their Royal senshi, Cosmos, or hell, the Code. That was more loyalty than she'd ever seen from herself towards anyone except Themiscyra and Alexandria.

Annoyed that this man had used his supposed allies.

Annoyed that the General Sovereigns and Queen just stood there and smiled.

It flared white hot in her belly and Andronicus charged forward. She was out of magic, she was out of options, but <******** it. ******** this. ******** him.

She didn't care if she was angry because of the Chaos in the air, or being reckless or that the logical idea was to let the starseed be reborn finally. Andronicus just could not let Caedus die. Could not let those cadets that sided with Order die. Could not let Lyndin go.

"GIVE IT BACK!" she screamed, launching herself into the air to bring the staff - it flickered to a curved pole axe blade for a split second then back - down onto Lyndin's back.

Lieutenant Roselite
HP:35
Action: Attacking Paradise.
Damage: 8 (roll) + 3 (rank) + 3 (faction) + 5 (bonus) = 19
Location: D6

This is almost over, Captain Bloodstone said.

This is almost over, Roselite repeated to himself.

He nodded stiffly, nervous, afraid, edging toward overwhelmed, but Captain Bloodstone was here with him. Bloodstone wouldn’t let anything happen to him, not if he could help it.

Roselite looked around for anyone else that looked like an easy target — which seemed horrible, but it wasn’t like he could go after the truly lethal ones. Roselite would never stand a chance. He saw a woman on the ground next to the slumped form of an older gentleman, saw Carnallite readying herself to strike, and stopped her with an, “I’ll do it!”

Carnallite could be too vicious, and the woman looked so delicate in her white dress. Roselite gave her a knock on the side of the head, then gently guided her unconscious body to the ground.

Action: Attacking Nalanda.
Damage: 8 (roll) + 3 (rank) + 3 (faction) + 5 (bonus) = 19
Location: D6

With Roselite snatching her next target out from under her, Carnallite moved on, searching the area for any other White Moon threat. The Generals guarding this generator seemed to have everything well in hand, and there was a large Negaverse force already keeping the area clear. Impressive.

But it made things a little less fun.

There — a Knight (Nalanda).

Carnallite flung her plastic boomerang at him.

Effective as it’d been so far that night, she couldn’t help but wish for a better weapon. Preferably something less ridiculous.

Corrupt Cymophane
HP: 29
Action: Attacking Cybele.
Damage: 2 (roll) + 3 (rank) + 5 (bonus) = 10
Location: F2

Cymophane was fresh out of magic. He tried to be sparing with it, seeing as it was in limited supply, but certain situations called for it more than others, and those situations had already come and gone.

Even with the generator down, some of the White Moon lingered. Cymophane thought they would have scattered and gone after one of the other generators, but maybe they didn’t know when to quit.

Like a girl with mint colored hair (Cybele) taking a swipe at Jet. She was clearly fighting the corruption. How well was up for debate. (And it was not a corruption, Cymophane told himself. They were being saved, or… encouraged to make better choices. If they didn’t fight so much, it would be easier for them.)

“Looks like it’s time for a little nap,” Cymophane said, coming up beside the girl to throw a solid punch toward her face.

HP: 3
Action: Watching, barely concious
Damage n/a
Location: D3

The conversation blurred. The world blurred.

Naeria only managed to snap back to attention when the flash of energy hit Lyndin. She made a soft noise in the back of her throat.

Yes, Lyndin was wrong about Caedus, and he was probably wrong about other things that Naeria had never bothered considering.

It didn't mean she wanted him to die, either.

She was still leaning weakly into Andreyia's arms, but her fingers tightened around her blaster again.

She did not point it at the growing crowd of Order, though, despite what Cydfae said. She kept an eye out for the ones in black, instead, not wanting anyone else to lose their starseed in an instant.

Cadet Vyn
HP: 50
Action: Shooting Andronicus. Again.
Damage: 7 (roll) + 3 (rank) = 10
Location: D2, with Lyndin.

“Commodore!” Vyn gasped, horrified.

The Commodore was in pain. The Commodore was faltering. And Vyn could do nothing about it. Couldn’t touch him, though he wanted to — might have done it this time, too, if not for the fear that he would not be able to withstand it as the Commodore did. Couldn’t help the Commodore with his burden, though he would have done so gladly. All Vyn could do was follow, and watch, and stand against any who tried to harm them.

STOP!” he shouted.

The same Knight (Andronicus) kept charging, pressing whatever shred of an advantage she could find. For a brief moment, her staff seemed to become something else. Dangerous. Deadly. She would kill the Commodore if she got the chance.

How many of the others would join her? White Moon, Negaverse, what did it matter anymore? They were all the same.

Vyn did not need Commander Cydfae’s orders. His blaster never faltered.

He shot the Knight again. If his weaponed didn’t need to recharge, he would have kept shooting. Again and again, until she was nothing but a motionless heap on the ground.

Commander Cydfae
HP: 0
Action: Taking the hit for Lyndin
Damage: 3 + 7(Rank) = 10
Location: D3 -> D2

Everything was happening in both slow motion and incredibly high speed. It was, honestly, hard to make heads or tails of anything, let alone find time to think about anything for even an instant. But of a few things, Commander Cydfae was completely certain.

One: She had orders. Protect Velencya and her people at all costs. That meant, for this mission, seeing that the seed made its way back to the cauldron so that Sailor Velenia could be reborn someday. She had never once failed to follow orders. Never once faltered -- until today -- in following those orders.

Two: She loved Commodore Lyndin with eery fiber of her being. He'd saved her life in so many, many ways. She'd seen him save the lives of countless others. When all else failed. When all else was uncertain, he had been a rock. The single solid anchor to which they could all tie themselves. And he not only let them, he welcomed them with open arms. Come to me, he seemed to say, and rest in my arms while the storm rages outside. Until you are rested enough to face it again. How often had Cydfae rested in the bastion of his certainty while the hurricane of her own fear wailed around her? How often had he but held up a hand and stilled those fearsome winds? She owed Commodore Lyndin more than her life. She owed him her soul.

Three: Commodore Lyndin was under attack. Not just from the console which seemed to be targeting him, but from another. A knight, by the looks of it, screaming some battle cry and wielding her weapon at him while he was vulnerable. Honorable, they claimed to be. This... white moon. Honorable and just... where was the honor in attacking a man while he was suffering like this? They were no different than the Negaverse, as far as Cydfae was concerned. Attacking them as blindly as the side they claim to hate.

"LYNDIN, NO"

She had dropped the titles and the honorifics. Her voice was raw and ragged and frayed by fear. He would not die. No one else would die today. Certainly not their beloved Commodore. Cydfae would die first.

Cydfae would die first.

Cydfae would...

Die...

That was her only thought as she flung herself between the axe and the Commodore, her own sword swinging as she hoped that, maybe, she was able to get in a hit. If her last action in this life was to protect the Commodore well then... maybe that wasn't so bad.

TW: MILD GORE AND FEELS
The axe lodged itself in Cydfae's chest with a sick, wet sound. Cydfae looked down for a moment, her face blank as though she wasn't certain what happened. She tried to make a sound but instead gurgled, her face twisting into even more confusion as she registered the sound. Gently, she touched her lips, her blood already forming a froth on her lips.

I thought there would be pain, Cydfae wondered distantly, her eyes rolling around in her skull wildly as the gaping wound in her chest spat blood with each pump of her frantic heart. She stumbled backwards, away from the blade, but was unable to keep herself up. She crumpled a moment later, rolling to her stomach to crawl towards Lyndin, as though he might help her, or she might still help him.

And that was how she died. Reaching out for her beloved Commodore.

She died protecting him.

Knight Andronicus of Uranus
HP: 15/100
Action: ... s**t
Damage: NA
Location: D2

The minute the commander came into view, Andronicus knew she couldn't move out of the way. She was falling too fast, her weapon primed too much, and there was no way to avoid the alien who moved in to protect Lyndin. Andronicus tried to pull the staff back.

An axeblade connected with Cydfae's chest. An axeblade that suddenly was no longer an axeblade and once again just her staff as Cydfae fell to the ground.

What...

The staff fell to the ground as Andronicus' knees gave out.

... I'm no better than the Negaverse...

Andronicus stared blankly at the bloody form of Cydfae, and did not get back up.

Cadet Aliez
HP: 50
Action: Shooting Andronicus and fainting from emotional stress and shock rip
Damage 6 + 3
Location: D2 with Lyndin

Aliez knew he needed to focus. He needed to breathe. He needed to get up and keep moving. The deaths of his friends and superiors…. He couldn’t change that, but he could help the Commodore. The Commodore who had sacrificed so much and suffered for so long. He’d done everything to protect them and to prepare them for this. He was right not to trust them. They were clearly not ready for the burdens that the Commodore carried.

His head snapped up when the Commodore was hit with something. Others had been trying to attack him, but he had been pushing them back -- until now.

“Commodore??” he sobbed, wanting to reach out, to try and use his Source Stone again, but it hadn’t worked before, and he doubted it would work now. But he was obviously in pain and he needed help and--

Vyn was shooting the same Knight who had been attacking before. The same knight who had charged forward with her dangerous weapon--

He shot just about the same time a spray of warmth covered his face and clothes. Commander Cydfae’s body fell and she reached with her last breaths for the Commodore.

Aliez felt faint and swayed unsteadily on his feet as his blaster dropped from his hand. The smell of blood was heavy in the air. If he hadn’t hesitated in shooting the Knight, would Cydfae still be alive…? He didn’t know. He couldn’t think. He didn’t want to think. He just blacked out.

Yikes. With the other generators going down, there was a further influx of Order and Chaos alike in the areas of the two remaining. The Cosmos Page tried to keep his head down--especially considering there was a flaming youma around--but that didn't keep him from still landing some kicks on the generator. He didn't like how more of his uniform looked like twilight, or a starry night sky, instead of a more dawn-like coloring. Pretty, sure!

But not the look he wanted to stick with.

——-

Sailor Lich
HP: 33
Action: Attacking the Generator
Damage Base: 9 Rank: +3 Magic: +2 14
Location: B6

"Yes, ma'am," he confirmed, even as the other senshi (Eivissa) began to cast her magic. He watched, intrigued, as it condensed into a large icicle, one she threw directly at the generator.

Before he could say anything further, movement in black, red, and blue caught his eye. He turned in time to hear the white-haired corrupt (Taenite) say something about being out of his magic... and then he had a fist coming at his face.

Lich grunted as he was sent stumbling backwards, spitting up blood as he felt the pain bloom across the right side of his head. He wasn't exactly one for fighting, and the even how-tos were rather lost on him.

But he still smirked, even as he spat out more blood. He didn't notice how parts of his uniform continued to get just a bit darker. The pain in his chest was only somewhat offset by the pain in his cheek and jaw. "Really? Such a shame. I've got plenty left."

And just like that, he turned and exhaled once more towards the generator. "Ice Blossoms!" Considering how much they were trying to defend these things, he saw no gain in diverting resources from the assault on the generator. Maybe he'd piss the guy off more? Worked for him.

Quote:
Ice Blossoms
Speaking the name of his attack, Lich focuses on a single target as he breaths in deep, and as he exhales, icy air is seen coming from his mouth. This ice crystal-filled air remains around the single target, dropping the air temperature around them drastically in less than a second. When the temperature drops, frost flowers sprout from the ground, quickly covering the target in a thin layer of fragile, frosty ice that can cause a rash, irritation, or even numbness against any exposed skin. While immobilized by the ice, the ice itself is strong enough to protect the target from any magical or physical attacks, or environmental damage, and the target is still capable of struggling to try and free themselves. However, within the ice, thorns have formed inwards toward the target, and any struggles to free themselves risks the target being poked or sliced by the thorns. This only lasts for 30 seconds, and once Lich's magic fades the air returns to its normal temperature and the ice melts away immediately. Lich can only do this attack three times a day.

Lich's magic is unaffected by temperatures or other magical effects around the target, such as fire or heavy heat, but the ice itself is extremely thin and fragile and will break or melt rapidly upon being touched.

When the Captain (Idrialite) appeared next to her, her heart sputtered before picking up again in a rapid, rabbit-like tempo. Wide blue eyes stared up at him, flicking to the rifle he carried. One with a blade on the end. She was pretty sure that all beat her wooden heart to, well, splinters.

The Page still stiffened, glaring up at him in what felt like fitting rebellion. "Or you'll what, stab me?" She spoke in a hiss, all but snarling at him. She was aware of the metal at her shoulder seeming to twist, gaining spikes on it. The tentacles embroidered into her skirt seemed to be joined by images of fish with sharp teeth.

"This is exactly what I want to do," she snapped, gesturing at the generator, "because doing this is the only damn way I'm apparently getting home to my fiance. I'm not losing him, I refuse to let him lose me." And that's exactly what would happen, if she was lost here. Tears began to spill, and she choked on a scream, turning and kicking the damn generator a good few times in a sudden fit of desperation. "I just want to go home. I j-I just want to go home to--" She hiccuped, a name muffled under fear and a whimper.
