Same could barely hear Kammy over the roar of the speed the thing was traveling at. By the time she realized she had company, the coil she was on was descending back into the sand. "This is amazing!" she yelled over the din. "A once in a life time opportunity--" That ended with her splatting in the sand. SAM HP: 27 poke mattix 2nd roll now, doing 3rd just in case

She choked on the stuff for a while as she tried to find her bearings. "No no no, wait, wait, wait," she mumbled to herself as she got to her feet, staggered, and started to make tracks after the creature--and Kammy, as a bonus. Sam didn't get nearly enough riding time on the thing. She wasn't fast of particularly athletic, however. If Kammy watched, it was a little funny seeing the trainee attempt it at all. But she looked resolute in the endeavor -- and perhaps that inspired something in turn. SAM HP: 27 Quote: 15. You are filled with suddenly, quite intense resolve. Quote a player. "********," Dean screamed at Vash, though whether it was a rebuff of the offer or just a general commentary of his life at that moment was unknown. And then the guy was gone before he could breathe to scream some more. He could hear his voice cracking and growing raw, like he had been at a raucous concert. Soon, no-one might hear him scream. Tobin and Dottie were doing their best, but then they too were gone. Dean felt the usual pang of fear and anger that accompanied being left behind, but...They'd tried. He just kept getting into hopeless situations. Him and Nash, by the sounds of it, since he sounded close by and also trapped. "Nash!" Dean coughed and spat, struggling to get his weapon up to strike at the titan. "s**t, are you..." The air was crushed out of him again. A savior came by and tried to apply bandages to him, but Dean felt like a hole in a dam that no-one could patch up. He was so weak, damn it. The baby of the group. "Hey. Get my buddy," he rasped as he struggled. "Edgelord. Neon green, right there." He couldn't exactly point. Except Nash wasn't there anymore. He was quite alone now, the last of the Plaid Posse. <******** THIS. With a snarl, Dean finally twisted enough under the bulk of the creature to dig his weapon in. The titan apparently noticed he was gone just enough to give him a smack for trying. At that point, Dean had had enough, and he fell into the sand and didn't bother getting up. Quote: 10. "Just DIE!" She jerked her wrist and smashed her tonfa blade down, skewering one of the centipedes while missing the other and, instead, knocking a few of it's legs off.
"I am done with this and you little assholes! YOU THINK I CAN'T TAKE YOUR TINY ASSES ON!?!" Someone's a little tired...

She nodded. "We could use them on your friend," she suggested, before the shadow suddenly loomed over them. It was instinctive. Gale grabbed her, and she yanked and threw him away as best she could. In her other hand, Thane appeared like a makeshift shield, diverting the leg before it pierced through her. The hole in the sand it made nearly swallowed her, however, and the displacement alone threatened to take her under as well. Her light footing seemed useless on sand where she couldn't get any tread. But somehow, Stormy got herself out as well. She panted and thrust the greatsword into the sand for a moment, looking back with a shudder. "I guess that's what Caelius wanted us to lure out." STORMY HP: 38 Quote: 1: You take -5 damage as a massive, massive limb rears down on you, just a single leg, and crushes the sand next to you, causing a backlash tidal wave to nearly suffocate you.
