*Yuji chukkled* "You say you can't eat any more souls huh. What if the souls you gain are no longer as petty as the human or yokai souls." Yuji smerked, "Thing is when he returns, you could tip shortstraw off on somthing more binifichal to you. You see if you become as actual good allie to him when he comes back, then he can litarly make you both more powerful with the strongest souls that exist. Being part of him makes you part demon hunter under his soul, meaning you can now eat other demons soul with anything they have gathered aswell but only if shorstraw collected the soul and fed it to you. meaning in apoint, you be a nice freind to the boy and you will be rewared more power, lots of souls of greatness, and for him it benifits becuse he will have somwhere to put the other souls. You wouldn't be able to go aginst him becuse if you did that would mean the end. It's just a option. Dont think that the demon way of things is always the answer you could end up in horrable shape... but i wont go there i'll let you decide and concider what i said int eh time that the boys gone. And don't tip keria off. She has to find this out on her own." Yuji actully patted hikaris head, "Hikari here is my hell hound and someday he will be massivly reworded however right now i'm unsure what with." He laughed.

Asher sighed again. "I'm not going to be around when the whole thing blows up. I have to go away for a while, actually. Something will cook in Kiera because of this, i'm sure. But even she won't be able to call me to her. She'll be all alone Yuji. I'm trusting you to keep her company while me and Shortstraw are gone." Hikari frowned. "And me!" Asher looked boredly to her. "Yes, you too Hikari. But you gotta let the father and daughter have a little space sometimes." Hikari nodded slowly. "All right.." Although she didn't like the conclusion of this. Shortstraw and Asher were going away? Hikari looked to Asher, just before she walked out of the room. "Where are you going to go, anyway?" Asher didn't look to her. "Conferences."

The next morning shorstraw woke up first with keria... however early. He shook pretending it was a accident to wake her up. He then yawned and stretched. He knew it would tak eher a bit to actully get up so he went into the kitchen and made some breakfast for the two of them. He knew he only had about a hour or so left though as he came back into the living room with two plates. "Mroing Keira" He replied with a smile.*

Kiera sat up and rubbed her eyes with her palms. When she noticed the lack of Dante she figured Amelie must've taken him sometime when she was asleep. Did she remember she fell asleep? She didn't even know her sleeping patterns any more. She then looked to Shortstraw. This was way too early for her to be getting up. She'd never be awake at this hour. "Oh, morning Shortstraw." She yawned. "This is waaaaaay too early."

*Shorstraw nodded, "I um... wanted to go on a spechal walk... and it had to be this early... so lets eat okay." He smiled however seemed alittle bothered. BUt he hid it away as he handed her a plate and started eating it himself. "An dit's safe i cooked it for you this morning personally." He chukkled wit a smile.*

Kiera took the plate gladly, and started to eat the food. "I don't think i've had food from you before. Thanks Shortstraw." She smiled. She soon finished the plate of food, and yawned again as she sat back in the couch. "A walk substituted for sleep? It's like all this time you've never known me." She joked, and laughed a little. "But since i'm awake now, i suppose that'd be nice."

*He nodded as he finished. "Yea... comeon." He smiled and got up, pulling her to her feet and walking with her out the front door. As they walked down a dirt path shorstraw didn't really say much. He was frowning and in deep thought as he was looking away. He was thinking on how it would be said. However he stopped relizing that the other three were stading on the hill up headed looking down at him. He then looked to keria, "i have somthing i need to tell you..."

Kiera brushed her hair out of her face and yawned, although she didn't stop to look to Shortstraw. "Hmm? What's up?" She didn't like where this was heading. He was acting weird, today. Well, so far. Come to think of it she hadn't seen Asher around either. She'd have usually seen her somewhere by now, even if she hadn't talked with her. What was going on? She hated not knowing things.

*He looked away sadly* "I have to go away for a while... i promes to come back but..." He was unsure how she would act. "Theres some others like me... and they're going to help me find out what and who i am... but it will take time..." He went on.

Kiera stopped in her tracks. "What?" She looked to him, confused. He was leaving? Why didn't he come to talk to her about this first? She was the one who brought him into the family, gave him shelter, even love. And now he was leaving, just like that? He said he was going to come back. But how long would that be. "No. You're not leaving." Kiera's hands gripped each others tightly. This was her parents all over again. No, she was just overreacting. But now she'd wake every night screaming even louder. Now she wouldn't have anyone to escape from the castle with every once in a while. "No. You're not leaving." She repeated, quieter this time. She was afraid. She could feel the anger starting to boil her blood.

He smiled, "I still love you and everything i just... have somthing i feel i need to do. Please understand i need to go with them..." He looked to her.

Kiera took a step closer to him. "And so you choose now to tell me? Now of all times? i bet most people back at the castle already knew you were leaving. ********." Another step. "And so it never came across your mind to talk to me about this at all? No? No guidance from Kiera? And i thought you were supposed to be my apprentice. You're supposed to come to me first about your decisions!" She groped for a handful of his shirt and pulled him close. "You don't love me. You're still just a ******** kid. I should have known you were going to leave me just like all the others. It's all that ever happens." There was a great deal of heat radiation emanating from Kiera's body, and where she held his clothes, they started to burn a little.

*Suddenly hand wrapped around keria and pulled her off him, sturgging to hold her back yuji held her, "Keria... Keria let the boy do what he has to do...." He sturggled, "Keria this is just as hard for him as it is you i fyou love him calm down...." Yuji looked to shorstraw. Meanwhile he stood there looking to keria. "I promese i will be back on this day in two years. The same time. I will be walking over that hill... and we will be reunited. I'll write if i can...." He then turned looked to the hill. Hesitated and turned to walk up the hill. Meanwhile yuji was trying hard to distingwish the flames holding keria there, "Let him do what he has to hun... it's a guy thing... just... belive in him..." He whispered as shorstraw went over the hill as the others walked away. He stood at the top and looked back saldy. He then gave a nod and finally dissapeared...*

"No!" Kiera bit his hand and got out of his grasp, where she then spun around to face Yuji. "He left me! Everyone always leaves me! You should know, you did the same with that b***h wife of yours. Shortstraw was normal, he wasn't going to leave me. Now they've taken him away. And he didn't care what i felt about it at all!" Kiera felt her face burning hot, but didn't have the strength nor the will to stop herself. She took a few steps back, and covered her face with her hands. "They always leave. Don't you dare try and understand me. You had your chance! And now he's had his!"

*Yuji looked to her then slapped her. He now held a serouse however warming face, "That boy wont do you wrong. He chose last night whil eyouwere alseep. Every boy goes through a faze when they have to choose somthing. A goal and something they love. He wanted to prove he was somthing that no one else could be. And in the end he chose you..." Yuji tossed shorstraws storybook to her feet, "Read it. He's been using this little story to express himself and what he choices he made. He felt if he did this he could help you. He could be somthing you and only you could appreshait. He promesed he would return and if you don't belive him..." Yuji looked her dead in the eyes stepping forword, "Then you remember the look on his face and tell me he didn't want to cry. You tell me that that didn't matter to you. Respect him, belive in him, he will come back and he will never leave you agian...." He wasn't yelling at her but rather explaining to her a diffrent side of things. He was hoping however maybe for the first time he got through... he wanted to help her throught this. And he had a plan.*
