I try to find a place to hide myself from sight, and look around to see if I can find the person that has found me. Shell of the first egg protect me, and may first guide my blade to strike true.

I keep my torso still so as not to make noise, merely turning my head to see what caused the rustling.

I dive into the pond, trying to get some consealment and defensive benefits. I check my surrounding to make sure that no one is around.

Chi: You find such an area in a dense patch of trees near a pond. You think you hear someone nearby. In fact, you're sure you just heard them jumping into the water.
Ayumu: Unfortunately, it looks like that is the only cave. You hear someone nearby, rustling the branches of a tree or two. Sounds like they're above you!
Emmy: You find that it's Misaki, her sword at the ready, but she moves quickly, soon fading into the trees.
Misaki: You find a good spot nearby. You notice a rustling in the bushes near where you were just seconds ago.
Jade: "Boo." One of Jasmine's copies kicks you in the stomach, making you lose balance. She lands on the branch lightly, as if made of air.
Nekora: You notice a person-like shape amongst some dense trees near the pond.

She got out her spear and sighed slowly flying away from the sound but keeping a eye on where it came from.

I immediately duck into the brush. I aim for the pond, my fingers spread wide, and fire off 5 exploding (not acidic) needles.

I dive to the bottom of the pond to utilize the water for maximun defensive benefit. I fire a blast of freezing cold, centering it on the figure. I figure the water to take away the energy and momentum of most of the forms of attack the crew has, coupled with my ice armor should be sufficant to protect me for now. Best case scenerio, it's Misaki, worst, it's Ayumu or Jasmine. Jade's bullets will have a hard time even getting past the water's surface, and it will dilute the acid from Chi's acid arrows. Ayumu's mental attacks are probably the only thing that won't be dampened by the water...

I hold my sword out to the side, and charge at the bushes, deliver a mighty swing to the bushes, in hopes to hit what, or who ever is in them.

Instead of wasting effort trying to correct myself, I go along with the force of the kick and let myself fall off the branch, activating my bullet time and unloading quite a few bullets into the clone until I figure I am getting too close to the ground, at which point I activate my flight and bring myself back up to the clone's level.

Emmy, seeing as it's her dragon warrior roommate, Misaki, waits a moment to see if she noticed her there, and when it seems she did and begins to charge, she leaps sidelongs away from the other and her blade.

Ayumu: As soon as you turn your back, a Jasmine clone comes plummeting down, feet first. She knocks you to the ground, hard. You lose grip of your Soul Gem! Jasmine gets to her feet slowly. Her balance isn't too good right now.
Chi: Pretty. The splash makes a nice little rainbow, but probably didn't go too deep, seeing as they all exploded on the surface. Maybe next time! However, that chilling blast of cold could have been nasty. Good thing it wasn't aimed right!
Nekora: You feel several small explosions on the surface of the pond. It's not enough to hurt, but you feel it moving you back a little from the force. Your cold attack doesn't reflect any heat signatures to you, so you assume that you missed and/or the target is gone.
Misaki: You slice the bush clean in half, but your enemy dodged in time. You see that you are fighting Emmy.
Jade: Four of your seven shots land, throwing the clone off balance. She jumps, flips, and tries to catch the branch to swing at you, but misses. She falls to the ground. However, you can tell that she won't be beaten so easily, clone or not.
Emmy: You manage to dodge. Misaki has seen you for sure now, and just sliced the bush clean in half. Poor bush...

She sighed as she ran and quickly tried to get her soul spear, also focusing on the clones feet and legs, trying to make them go numb so far as to if they were not there.

I decide to land and make this a straightforward fight. I dissipate my second gun so that I can aim accurately using both my hands. I fire off a shot at the clones head, re-steady, then fire again in a controlled, calculated method to see how well she withstands the impact from the bullets.

This time, I try a little power combo. The refraction of the water will make it hard to aim from down here, but the same applies to my assailant on the surface. I use my mental powers to lock on to my attacker, and then try another freeze attack, this time guided with my powers rather than my vision. I use my telepathy to contact this figure. Look, this battle just simply isn't worth it for either of us. With how holed in I am, even if you manage to defeat me, it will take a great deal of energy, and the others will pick you off when they find you. Just leave this battle and wait for the others to fight more. Maybe they'll weaken me down by the end!
