You notice a cloaked figure shifting away from one of your royal guards. The armored man looks down at a sealed envelope, a hint of shock and surprise flecking in those chestnut spheres. He quickly looks up towards you and immediately walks over, though does not dare to speak. Not unless spoken to.
Instead he extends the invitation to you, to whom it is addressed to in the first place.
It is a solid vermillion envelope, your named scrolled on the outside in liquid gold. It is a splendid parchment, finely pressed and smells of a sweet, unknown essence. It serves to entice the sense and intrigue.
You carefully break the wax seal, lifting the triangular tab and retrieve the contents. A single card, this thicker than the cover. The side that greets you only holds a gold '+' and an address that is at the edge of the city, it is embossed into the card; however, when you flip it over, words filter into view. You look at the guard and he looks back, just as confused as you are.
Looking back down, you take in the words:
'You are cordially invited to the Grand Opening of the Gilded Cathedral! Please wear formal attire, your best suit and meet us there at 6pm.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSharp.'
Funny, as a King, you would know if such construction was taking place. Right? Perhaps it is a mistake? Or this is a dream? No, all is quite real and the invitation is extended only to you. The Dragon King of Yuran, Devrin Goldheart.
You still have some time to prepare, but not much, and there is still the matter of your attire.
The sound of heavy footsteps could be faintly heard, resonating from the entrance. The weapons on his back were clanking together as he held the sheath of his Longsword, of which was on his waist. The young draconian carried a heavy Warhammer, heavy battleaxe, and a Greatsword, all bronze. He looked around his surroundings and noticed the king and another man who was leaving. He walked over, letting both his hands fall to his sides. He didn't expect to run into the king here, but considering he was here now, the young draconian decided to ask the king for training, when and if he ever had the time to spare. He didn't expect the king to accept him under his wing, but it wouldn't hurt to try. He stood in front of the king, bowing out of respect for his title and position. Staying in that bowed position, the young draconian began to speak, his voice monotone and deep.
"My King, I came to you with a request. My name is Chinmoku Satsugai of Yuran, and I am a draconian. If you have the time, would you consider training me? I am in need of an instructor."

After Leviathan took his leave, Devrin got to work. He motioned for a guard to come over to him. The guard dutifully strode over to his King. Devrin nodded as the guard clapped a fist to his chest "I need your assistance with a simple move" he said to the guard. Ever so dutiful the guard agreed to help. "Thank you" the King said "I need to throw knives to catch on your clothes, so take off your chainmail, as for your clothes I will pay for any damages for your help" he said. The guard was hesitant to have knives thrown at him but he complied with his Kings command. The guard removed his armor "please step over by the wall" Devrin asked him and he complied. Devrin sighed as he relaxed himself. He pulled a knife quickly, launching it towards the man. Flinching only the slightest as the knife snagged his shirt and pinned it to the wall. Devrin smiled and nodded his head to the guard, he walked over to the guard and tore the knife from the wall, releasing the guard. Devrin pulled out 5 gold drachmas and handed them too the guard. He took it and nodded, he took his leave with his equipment to get his shirt patched.
After the guard left, Devrin took his stuff and set it down. Afterwards he sat down himself, crossing his legs he started to focus, meditate. A martial arts style that he had to read about, Dim Mak, seemed pretty useful. He sighed letting out huge breath focusing, looking in deep. The point was to find his center identify his essence. Wondering the darkness he followed a faint light. It was golden in color with a small red center. This was his took ahold of it, now he had known what his essence was. He opened his eyes, now that he knew what his essence was he was now to look for others. Every little thing had its own essence, is able to see all of that even his own guards notice their feelings and notice their intent, not read their minds though. Stood up as guard walked over to him and had them in an envelope.
He turned over the Vermilion envelope, his eyes took in the golden lettering on it including the plus symbol. He tucked it away after reading to turn and see an new Draconian approach him. He nodded his head taking the time to look over the mans weapons. He had to respond to the invitation "rise Chinmoku, I have not much time, as I have a few duties to attend to I can leave someone to train you for now and I can get to you on a later date" he said to the man. He then took his leave.

Chinmoku stood straight up, looking the King in his eyes as he spoke. His duties most likely had to do with that envelope he had in his hands. Chinmoku nodded, but wondered who he would be training with instead. Despite not being able to be instructed by the King now, he will be able to at another time. Hopefully he could learn Draconian techniques, considering he and the King were kin. Chinmoku moved aside so the King could pass by when he chose to do so.
"Of course. Being privileged enough to train with a king is all I could ask for. "
Leviathan had returned to the academy as he noticed the new Draconian on the scene, the king was gone and he decided to laugh. He walked over to the kid and soon said, "Yo! I take it you're the new fella right?" He asked Chinmoku, being new himself, he didn't care as much as he stood before the man, hands in his pockets and guns back in the suitcase.
The air grew hotter as a figure approached Leviathan. Hávardr looked to the young Dreadnought "Gunslinger Leviathan, I am Royal Knight Hávardr" he introduced himself "King Devrin has instructed me with your training and has given me the approval to promote you if you prove worthy" he said to the bored like man.

Leviathan looked to the arrival of a new Knight as he crossed his arms. "Ugh... I can tell by your sword that you're a knight... not to mention with the heat you give off." He covered his nostrils and soon stated, "You smell like literal burning tar!" He soon laughed a bit before he shook his head and stood up straight. "Nonetheless... so what do ya got Flame Knight?"
Hávardr placed the tip of his Greatsword in the ground. He smiled as Leviathan reacted to his heat "What have you completed thus far?" he asked the young man.

There were plenty of things keeping Cassandra here. For one, it was quiet. The angel didn't have to worry about there being large public events, or anything. Solace was all she ever wanted. Solace form the crazy outside world. But because it was so quiet, she knew that almost nothing was ever getting done in this city. Many people were leaving it to go to Nocturne. She wouldn't argue. After all, some people actually enjoyed that dark s**t. Secondly, her heritage also kept her here. This was her home. Her family's home as well. It was perhaps the only reason why she joined the military in the first place. She wouldn't have done it if she didn't love this place in some way. Considering all of this, she often wondered if there were anything she could actually do to help the nation out. There were a variety of trainees here, but she had never really tried her hand at training.
