It was only out of the corner of her golden spheres that she saw vibrant bolts of ricocheting lightning. Platinum tresses danced silently against an autumn breeze, the night creeping upon them quickly. All around her, at the edge of the treeline, toads croaked, lightning bugs played leap-frog with one another and she, she stood up. Books knocked back as she prepared for impact. Luckily, Greed only landed a few feet away and he nonchalantly tried to play his failed flying on intention. Alex wasn't buying it, arms folded under her chest and the angel gave him a bizarre look that conveyed a silent 'DUH!' before teeth sunk into her full lower lip, and she smiled. "Long time, no see, Hotshot." Alex retorted cheerfully. "Did you come back for another butt kicking? Or did you just miss me?" Of course she wasn't sure why he was here, but he just put her on edge sometimes and she had to jab at him. "You smell terrible! Have you not showered at all?!" Wefts of booze and bar stench ebbed from the firm muscles and clothing, still she approached him, hands moving to the tick-tock of pendulum hips.

"Castration and a** beatings are two very different things... i'd take the 2nd option over the first any day. And I bet you i'd kick youur butt thiss time! I got me some new tricksss kiddo." he said with a smile and a wink, a single candescent vermillion orb closing before opening again swiftly. "And I figured you probably missed me, so I decided to bless kusana with my presence once more. No need to thank me." He said in a sarcastic tone as he did a mock bow, before straightening himself and continuing. "Nah, I started thinking about my favorite nephillim aaand... poof. Now i'm here. Funny how this kinda s**t workss." He said as his tail wiped some of the extra dirt his shoulders had aquired from the crash landing. "You always hate on my smell Alex! I swear if you keep doing it, i'm gonna ssstart thinking I actually smell like cheap liquor." he said again, ruby red eyes surveying the nephillim as she walked towards him.
In her right she held Dread, keeping it against the curve of hip before dropping her arm to the side. "Well! I guess...What are you doing?" Greed bowed in jest and she laughed. "Yeah, you do smell... but maybe it takes some getting use to?" Alex wasn't sure, and it honestly reminded her of Srin. "I dunno. Doesn't really matter." She shrugged. "Are you drunk?" The Nephilim leaned in, staring at him curiously as tawny gold hues fractioned, narrowing at the bloody stare. "Guess what?!" A smile once again tugging at the corners of pink lips. "I took Srin's gun...." It was a whisper, her body leaning as she looked around Greed, checking to be sure the dreadnought wasn't around. "I could be a gunslinger!" It delighted her, like some newly given present, too bad it was pyrite instead of Gold. "Watch this!"
Alex took a step back, cocked her hip, and pointed the magnum. Her stance ready and firm. A slender tendril curled around the trigger and without a second thought, it unfurled a furious shot that spiraled with holy energy and dark at the same time. Then a single tree was cracked, the impact like thunder slamming into the wood. Debris flew away and left a large gaping hole in its wake. Her eyes widened, she looked almost horrified at the both the blast and the destruction. "SEE! Hrmph." Fear washed away, a grin affirming her words.
Bang Bang D rank By fusing the demonic energy from both the gun and Srin into the current bullet(s) in the chamber it will start to have a faint red tone to it. This ton to the bullet itself may seem all that special but once escaping the chamber it will fly through the air and once within a one foot distance of the target with blast into a fiery blast that would knock the target off their feet. The blast itself will give the target minor 3rd degree burns.

As she asked him if he was drunk, Greed raised his arms up high dramatically. "That must be the mossst clever prediction i've heard all year." He said in an answer to her question. When she said she took Srin's gun, the devil man's eyebrow would raise. "No you didn't, let me see." He said, and his eyes widened slightly as she pulled out the rather large magnum. "Holy s**t, that guns ******** huge. But hey, you know what they say about guys with big guns..." He said with a chuckle before continuing. "He's gonna kiiill you when he finds out." The diabolus said, but was still ultimately curious. He watched intently as the nephillim fired the gun, and his smile widened as he saw the blast completely shatter a tree. "Woah... how'd you do that blondie?" He asked, red eyes looking down at the gun, then back up at Alex's face. I kinda wanna try... The diabolus thought to himself. The man had never even held a gun, much less shot one before. He always viewed them as a whimpy kind of weapon... but that s**t was cool. "Let me try!"
Happily she chimed, "I'm not afraid of him. Plus...I think he finds me attractive." Her brow quirked, "...he is a very confusing person but he won't find out! He is asleep." Though as Greed eyed her, her hand shot out to push against his chest. "Hold it. No, Hotshot. You can not play with the gun."
It was like holding out a shiny, golden present, he could look but not touch. "Besides, you do your fairy thing, remember? All that dancing around and grunting." Alex still held him at bay in case he decided to be slick and grab the magnum, she moved it out of sight, tucking it behind her back. "Can you swim, Greed?" It was the first time she called him by his actual name, though it was an odd question to ask in the middle of a clearing.

As she talked about Srin, he chuckled. "Well that's because you are attractive, in case you haven't noticed." He said, though his brow furrowed when she put the gun away. "Ah come on? Pleeease? Just once, i've never shot one before. I'm not gonna steal it, I just wanna try!" he said, his arms stretching towards the gun as she planted her hand firmly on his chest. shaking his head as she made fun of his martial arts again. "Such a haaater... you're just jealous because you can't do any of it." He said, his crimson eyes flashing slightly, though a puzzled look would grow on his face as she asked if he could swim. "Well yeah... yeah I can swim. Why?" He asked with narrowed eyes, wondering what the neph was getting at.
"Pffftt~" Alex waved off his complement, though her cheeks were dusted in a peachy pink. "Honestly, I can learn how if I took the time." Her retort completely dodged his interest in Dread. "And I will have you know, that I do not haaaate anything, Hotshot. Not even a jerk like you." Of course she didn't find him to be a jerk, the smile on her face even told him so. The angel's hand slid away, moving to her chest quickly and pulling out a long gold chain, dangling from the bottom of it was a gleaming locket. She stepped forward again, mere inches from him. "Check it out...open it." It was no trick, an empathizing expression completely sincere, though unbeknownst to him, they would teleport upon the locket opening and it would be directly to the lake...Right above the water. It was a good thing he could swim...

Feared Exalted Evil?
As she said she could learn martial arts, Greed shook his head. "Suuure... just like how I could learn to be a pally if I took the time right?" He asked with a raised brow, smiling as he spoke in the most cincerest, least slurred voice possible for him at the time now. He said, his eyes roaming from her golden eyes downwards, towards her chest and onto the equally golden locket. "Woah. You got treasure too! Wanna see mine?" He would ask, before an obsidian clawed hand reached forward and touched the clasp, opening it before... poof. He was gone with the nephillim.
Kain was walking through when it hit him. He needed to train alittle on his secondary element. He cast his hand towards some rocks on the ground. A magic circle appeared in front of his hand. The rocks gave a small shake as the began to levitate up into the air. A bigger circle appeared and the ground shook with stress. A large rock slab emerged from the dirt. It rose vertically infront of Kain. It was to act as a defensive wall. Kain cut the spell off and the rock slammed back down into it's hole. The next was simple all he had to do was use his energy to effect the magnetic fields in his body. This would allow him to traverse any earthen surfaces. The next was a trap skill, it manipulated the earth under an enemy. It could binds their legs in place. Even better if they where laying on the ground. It would take a good bit of strength to break the bindings or the use of fire or water skills to make it a bit more easy. The next was very useful, he cast out both his hands magic circles appeared infront of them. Rocks flew the air towards his body the layered onto each other. They slow formed a suit of armor made of rock. This was really useful as he really couldn't wear armor. This would definitely turn away a flew blades. The rocks fell to the ground as he released the spell. Now he reached out with his energy. Gathering it into one place. A sword wreathed in flames appeared, he reached out and grabbed it. It didn't burn his hand, he swung it around alittle bit. It wS fine. He let it disperse and summoned the power again. A few feet away two earthen spears burst from the ground. This was good as another trap for him to use.
They traveled from one dimension to this, there feet landing amongst the soft earth and grass. In their embrace, Alex tucked away her locket and shifted from Greed, still smiling as they both made it just fine. The illuminating crescents lowered and her head turned to stare at the man across the clearing. It was who she was looking for, and with a sigh, she stepped from her diabolus, their back to the treeline. She dropped her bag and placed palms against each ivory parabola, just below the plated armor. "Kain!" Even from such a lithe form, her voice commanded in a sweet harmony that clashed with pursuit. "I am challenging you for your captain's position. If I win, I get it and you have to step down to royal guard. If I lose..." The angel smiling before continuing, "I will be one of your royal guards." Hell, that was enough of an incentive for anyone. "Do you accept these terms?" For a second, there was only an eerie silence and the expanse of the land between them.
Kain exhaled as he relaxed a bit after he finished training. He was seated on the go round when Alex appeared. He stood up when she called to him, as she issued her challenge he brushed off the seat of his jacket. As he finished, he looked to her with an arched eyebrow "what made you come up with this idea?" he questioned her.
The smile dissipated, Alex's stare hardened, golden crescents halve and pupils expand to form Cheshire grins. "Because!" She stood her ground, head tilting as platinum tresses cascaded against a small evening wind. "You do not hold your position with pride and squander its power for self gain. What have you done? Who have you trained? Nothing, no one. This land needs someone that will improve it, to better its people. I want to do that. So if I have to fight you for it, I fully intend to."
A deep inhale quaked her chest, a steady rise and fall that birthed confidence. She was fully committed to this after having thought about it for some time.

The trees creek in Old Entish, whispering among each other. The forest itself crept in the darkness of the leaves. Steps like continuous thunder smote down upon the ground with the Shadow of the Forest approaching. Of course the trees already told him of the challenge upon Alex's lips. The deep, enchanting music of the horn of Kranila burst into music when Korok approached.
His right hand moved gently a branch that bristled when the heavy steps finally stopped in between them like a referee, and he looked to both of them, swinging his head in between them. His armor clinged with the movement of his right arm taking out his longsword and penetrating the floor beneath him. He then spoke "I shall lay witness to a new Captain, or a new Royal Guard. If the terms are accepted." He lay between them but also a bit back to make sure he wouldn't be caught in a misfire. Then the voices of the forest seized, and all lay quiet with the Shadow of the Forest as a referee.
Equipment: Longsword of the Forest, and Shadow of the Forest's Armor. No passive effects.

Kain actually only shrugged "I haven't seen a trainee pass into my office since I started, only you have joined since I took office." he said to her blowing off the insults. He summoned Masamune from the gems and placed under his belt "I accept" he simply said.
Dirt grinds beneath the angel's boot, her body pivoting to narrow herself in his tawny visage. Feet shoulder width apart, the left foot first, she readied for battle. Eyes flashed with a flaring gold, twin miniature cosmos burning brightly with determination. The ends of her hair drifted outward, laggardly swimming behind and around the porcelain face. Quickly she cast out Falter to his gusto shrugs, if he wasn't willing to realize fault, then he would certainly about something else. He'd drain his energy faster. Ignorance must be bliss. "You expect people to come to you?! Get off your high horse." Torrents of energy continued to flux like radioactive auras, their cherub glamor whirling in Resolve. Stakes were raised, dust billowing around the clearing as the air seemed to draw in silence. The trees swayed, watching and waving along the outer brim of the large area. She knew that Korok was here without even hearing him, she felt him, like tiny pinpricks against her spine, it set her on edge. In one fell swoop, hands grabbed her bow from the clip, right hand plucking an arrow from its quiver. As soon as she did, it ignited in holy aura as it was unsheathed. She placed it against the string, feathery edges splay against ivory tendrils. Yet, strangely, neither the bow nor arrow were pointed at Kain. The position of her body allowed for her to turn, a slight swing as she raised the bow and drew back the string. As soon as the trajectory point was reached, the one aligning her to Kain, the arrow was released and sent through the air with haste. The wind behind it adding in endeavors.
[Activated: Falter, Resolve] [Used: Falter, Resolve, Power Shot]
Falter Rank: C The caster will use their own good aura, to afflict the target's mind, making them think about all the bad things they've done, from taking a cookie without permission, to killing a man in cold blood. This causes their attacks to cost a rank more, thus draining them faster.
Resolve Rank: C The paladin is able to up their ante by increasing their energy output, thus making their other paladin skills stronger by one rank.
Power Shot Rank: C Description: Its a slow to start move but once you fire the arrow the target has only a short moment to react before it hits. You hold the bow horizontally and pull back as far as you can but you are facing to the right not at your enemy. Swing your body to face the enemy and then quickly fire. An arrow fired in this way will actually have some wind behind it that other arrows fired at you will be blown away except for other Power shots or Charged arrows. This will go deep into a tree.
