Carolynne walked onto the beach with Seth following her. She looked around as the waves slowly churned and crashed. The air was a bit salty and the sun beamed down, leaving Carolynne a bit hot from the long sleeve shirt she had on. the sand was also beginning to get all over her flip-flops leaving it a bit hard to walk. She looked up at the sun without her eyes being harmed or having to squint before looking back at Seth. "Do you like it at the beach?" She asked him.

"Though it could use more green, I like it. Good place to hang out," he commented and replied happily. Noticing Carolynne had a long sleeve shirt on, Seth asked,"Aren't you hot in that? I don't mind waiting if you want to go change," he proposed. He sat on the sand and watched the sea foam wash up on the shore. Poseidon did a really good job with the beach.
(( Hm... Thinkin about bringing Poseidon here. ))

Fate sat on some rocks near the water. The water was so pretty today. Prefect for talking pictures of. Fate took out her camera a took a few pictures. She loved to take picture, It was one of her favorite things to do. She liked how these ones came our so she put her camera away. The wind coming off the water was great.

"No thanks." Carolynne said quickly when he asked if she wanted to change. She had a reason for wearing the long sleeve shirt and didn't want anyone else to know that reason so she sat down next to Seth and looked over to the ocean, to see just how far she could see the ocean go. "Do you like the beach?" She asked him.

"I like it," Seth replied wondering why Carolynne had just asked the question again. "Do you like the ocean?" he asked her back. The waves crashed and washed shells on the shore.

Fate walks around the beach looking for a place to be alone. She likes it at camp but sometimes just needs to alone. After a while she finds a place and sits down. She sigh ans thinks about all the happy campers here. She wishes she had a friend. She oulls a small, dull blade. She looks down at it and thinks about cutting. She doesn't because she is trying this new thing where she doesn't have to cause herself pain. She is now with others like her and doesn't need to anymore.

Carolynne nodded, lightly, knowing she had just failed at trying to change the subject. "Yeah, until I came to camp I had never been to the beach before so it's nice to barely walk about ten minutes and be at the beach." She told him, looking around.

As the auri nymphs brushed against him, another wave crashed. Though this was only his second time at the beach, it was one of the demigod's favorite places in camp. ══════════════════════════════════════════

Carolynne thought about the question. "Sure." She finally answered, standing up. Her back side was covered in sand along with her shorts and the back of her legs but she didn't mind and knew the water would easily wash it all off.

The nereids watched the couple go into the ocean. The water felt cool, which Seth loved, in the hot sun. ══════════════════════════════════════════

Carolynne got into the water and for a second she stood where the water was at her knee caps. It was a bit cooler then she had expected but she thought it was just from her sun bathing for a long time. She then walked deeper into the water when she was used to the cool water and followed Seth in the water until the water came up to her chest where she then stopped and let her body float slightly, while she tried to keep onto her feet on the ocean floor. Waves crashed nearby and left the water moving all around her and looking slightly like she was bobbing up and down.

The current wasn't strong yet, there wasn't a riptide, and the wind wasn't that strong so it made a perfect time to be in the ocean. A big, unexpected wave crashed right on the couple and both of them where pulled underwater. After a couple of seconds, Seth came up breathing hard. "Carolynne, you okay? he asked/yelled. The salt water was in his eyes and he couldn't see very well. ══════════════════════════════════════════

Carolynne hadn't seen the wave come down and her throat burned from swallowing salt water. She came up from the water, heaving in a deep breath and coughing up water that she had sucked down while going under. Her eyes burned from the salt and when she opened them up she found herself closer to the shore, her eyes watering, as she looked around. She heard someone call her name and she looked around, in the water, and saw Seth much farther out then her.

Carolynne nodded then pulled her shirt that stuck to her skin. There was a strange suction sound as it was pulled from her skin. "Yeah, I'm fine." She told him, her voice a bit raspy from her throat still a bit sore. "What about you?" She asked him.
