i'll be honest, sapph... at this point, i wouldn't be surprised. xp you have no idea how many people i know have gotten appendicitus since last year.

meh.... i'm just burntout today. sweatdrop i've been raging and raging for months, and finally just drank myself numb earlier today. sweatdrop i'm calm right now.

I have 2 reasons for not drinking:
1. I'm not at the legal age yet.
And here's another reason you (Twi) probably wouldn't convert to Buddhism:
2. Drinking alcohol is forbidden. One of the five Precepts of Buddhism is that one should "refrain from consuming intoxicants."
As for my avi's martini and cigar appearing to be against this... the avi's not Buddhist. wink Plus, I'm sure it wouldn't affect the pixels like it would a person.... xp

I believe Muslims are similar in their beliefs. In this day and age, I think it's commendable.
Sapph~ I had a friend who's appendix burst last month. And he's FINE. It was a little scary for a while, but honestly appendectomies are common enough that surgeons are very good at removing them with few side effects. I think the only thing you have to worry about is that you are such an angel that God might take you while you're still good.
Me on the other hand...well, lets just say I'll live forever if the good die young. wink

heh. xd i wouldn't allow myself to settle for any religion anyway, even one with such lack of dogma as Buddhism. but yes, i certainly am not willing to give up my Drinking and Smoking. =w= they are considered Sacred in my traditions.

I have been putting myself to sleep around 1am because I have to get up with the little one. I wish I could stay up later... Maybe in two weeks, I'll be on vacation without the daughter, but I'll have college classes DX At least they are online.
