Tsukihana Hakkel Academy Student l Mist l Mind's Eye of the Kagura l Tsuki did her best to ignore the background noise as she listened to the question. It was almost in the breath of a moment that she spoke. "There are a few reasons actually. At first, it was so I could become the best medical ninja, and help cure my family." Tsuki's father had succumbed to a sickness that plagued her mother and younger brother as well. "But after actually coming here, after making new friends and seeing the people, I want to be apart of something bigger than myself. I want to be one of the great shinobi who would give their life for this country." As she spoke, a smile hit her face. "Though, hopefully if I do my job right, everyone would be able to keep their lives." She gave a quick giggle before silencing herself.
"Just reach out and grab your dreams. If not, who will?"

Nodding at Tsuki's words, Luo's pen scratched a bit as the stool with water was replaced with the squeaking of a metal table, a shinobi resting on it with life support beeping within the room. As the table stopped in front of Tsuki, Dr. Chen walked in, taking his seat next to Luo in order to preside over the exam. "Because I myself am not well versed in being able to simply observe medical jutsu and determine if they are being performed properly, chief of medicine Dr. Chen has been asked to come in and observe your exam, I hope this is quite alright. This man before you has been put into a coma by Dr. Chen using medical jutsu, and is being sustained by this life support device. There are three senbon lodged somewhere in his body, and a common pathogen injected into his bloodstream. Your job is to first quarantine the area, cleanse yourself and protect your immune system, diagnose the pathogen, remove the senbon, and finally in exactly six minutes the life support device will turn off for exactly one minute. It will be your job in that time to keep him alive. You may begin when ready."
As Luo watched with eagerness, the beeping of the life support system filled the room. Of all exams Luo gave, the medical exam was the most difficult and with good reason. It was hard to find people good enough to practice such techniques under pressure and in the field no less. By creating such a scenario, the med-nin being tested would no doubt be sent into a stressed state, the beeping survivingng as something of a ticking clock. It was this 'stress test' that called for Luo to have to look at two exam sheets, as well as Dr. Chen. Because even if the techniques could be performed well, it's how calm the person can do them that counts as well.

Fordon watched in fascination. this was due to the fact that hunter ninjas had to be some what versed in the ways of the body for their job. medical shinobi naturally took it further then hunter ninjas ever could but there was still a similarity in the knowledge. Fordon hoped beyond hope that there could at last be one of the new recruits able to take up the mantle of medical ninja.

Luo1304 As Kari exited the room, Luo pocketed the scroll he had given to Ensu to learn from. Flipping through manilla folders, he motioned with two fingers off to his right side for Tsuki to come down the stairs as he muttered, "Tsukihana Hakke, please step forward." Waiting patiently for the girl to arrive, it was then that Mrs. Kanai stepped into the exam room, handing him some paperwork. As he looked at it, Luo stood immediately, taking with him the paper as water bubbled in his seat into a perfect replica of himself....or rather a perfect replica of a perfect replica. Walking out of the room as the simple water clone sat waiting for Tsuki to begin her exam, Luo reached the top of the stairs as his robes shifted and his wide-brimmed hat cast a shadow down to the bridge of his nose, showing the light smile on his face as he came into the room at the Jounin's exclamation. With a low chuckle, Luo passed in front of him to the desk of the busy Mrs. Kanai, picking up a stack of papers as he muttered to the man while signing off on a few things, "The finest coffee Konoha has to offer. Oddly enough, no one in that village knows how to brew it as well as LT does. We usually send them the coffee pre-brewed in barrels as thanks for providing the beans." Turning at last to face the man who had traveled to meet him, Luo's perfect teeth protruded from a smile. "Good afternoon, I am the Nindaime Mizukage." As the water-body clone waited for a response as well as a greeting, it eminated even Luo's chakra level perfectly, although subdued obviously due to the non-combat situation. Even from just the lower end of his face, it was clear that the man was young, his right hand protruding slighlty in order to cradle the papers under his arm. Aizen at once stood up and bowed before Luo, he had heard much about this new young Kage who was trying to banish forever the view of the "Bloody Mist" and for that he held a great respect for him. " Lord Luo-sama, it is an honor to meet you, I am Aizen Togusa, diplomat from Iwa and head of the recently formed Public Security Section 9 and Diplomatic Relations Section 6, I have been tasked by my Kage to talk about terms of renewing our alliance." he stated as he slowly rose from his bowed position, he did not know yet if Luo had recieved the word of Jade's defection, but if not, he had alot to tell his potential ally.

Nodding to the man, Luo motioned for him to follow into his office. As he continued towards the door Luo muttered back to his secretary, "Mrs. Kanai, do me a favor and send someone to deliver a pound of ground Konoha brew from LT's stash to my office for Togusa to take to Iwa." As he opened the door to his office and walked in, Luo sat on the lush blue seating pillow with gold thread embroidered in intricate swirls of design, the gold tassels fluffing slightly. Motioning for Togusa to sit on one of the two red seating pillows in front of the desk with mirrored patterns, Luo waved two fingers as the door shut with a creak, indicating the movement of water molecules used in order to create that effect. "Sections 6 and 9 huh? Forgive my saying so, but isn't public security as well as diplomatic relations a shinobi's job in and of themselves? So Aizen Togusa, Jade Shihoin has disappeared then? By the looks of it, you seem to not be suffering from the death of a kage, and to be honest the woman seemed too unsteady to remain in an office for too long. It seems her and I are rather polar opposites of the same age." As Luo waited for a response, his keen eyes watched every muscle movement, twitch, expression, and even spasm of Togusa's body, the training from his father as a child seeming to kick in on its own. He didn't particularly like the fact that a man he had only met three minutes ago referred to him as 'sama,' however despite Luo's staunch upbringing in respectful verbalizations, he thought of it as perhaps the way most if not all of Iwa's shinobi were. After all, even when he met Jade she was less than formal, even less than the man before him.

Tsukihana Hakkel Academy Student l Mist l Mind's Eye of the Kagura l Tsuki listened to the pen scratching, just before picking up on squeaking wheels. She watched as Dr. Chen entered, and she offered a quick smile. While he was not her teacher, Tsuki would offer respect. Her eyebrows furrowed as she listened to her task, and nodded her head afterward. Not wanting to waste anytime, Tsuki immediately set out to work, working out the circular seal around the man. For the length lasting the blink of an eye, a tube of chakra enveloped Tsuki and the man, flashing purple. Instantly afterward, Tsuki cleansed herself, her chakra covering up to her forearms. Tsuki rubbed her hands over her body, as if she was giving herself a bath. Tsuki set out to making herself resistant, and created a thin layer of chakra around her body, making it seem as if she had a body suit.
Now that that part was over, Tsuki set out to finding out the best way to remove the pathogen. She placed her hands over the man's face, letting them hover just over it. Purple chakra enveloped her hands, and she began. "I hope this isn't taking any points off of this test or anything...I just always wanted to know. What's it like being the Pride of the Mist?" Tsuki said as she searched the mans body, finding the senbon. Tsuki wanted to be able to take all the poison out through a single location, rather than the man's pores and possibly screwing up. So instead, she moved over to one of the senbon, and set about extracting it. Her chest rose and fell as she breathed steadily, working on extracting the senbon. Tsuki's chakra moved around the senbon, and set about separating the muscles, very carefully. After that was over, the senbon began to move outward, towards Tsuki. In due time, the senbon was completely out. Tsuki grabbed it, and placed it on the table, moving onto the next senbon. She continued this process 2 more times, ending up with a pile of senbon on the table. Tsuki grabbed a vial out of her pocket, and opened it. "If I learned anything from watching Dr. Lothar, it was to always be prepared for anything." Tsuki's chakra wrapped around her hands once more, and entered the man's body. At her level, she wouldn't be able to extract all of the poison, but rather a small amount, just enough to slow down the poison, and at higher levels, develop an antidote.
Tsuki's chakra wrapped around the man's blood, and determined the difference between the pathogen, and his blood. Tsuki's face screwed up in concentration, and began the separation, quickly pulling some of the 'bad stuff' out through one of the senbon wounds. Tsuki now ended up with a ball of the pathogen, which she directed to the vial. Once it was inside, she capped it, and put it to the side. Tsuki listened to the beeping of the machine, and waited for it to click off. It was weird, that she had time left, and couldn't really do anything else about it. It peeved her off, and once drummed her fingers against the table. The machine gave a single warning click, and then shut off. Tsuki's hands moved over the man's chest, and the chakra wrapped around her hands. She began a motion as if she was a pump, and began to sustain the man's life. Her face was calm as she worked, for in reality, this didn't scare her. Albeit there weren't any enemies launching attacks at her or a building on fire around her, but it was still a life in her hands. Tsuki continued this easily, feeling quite confident. After a full minute, Tsuki heard the machine click once. In that moment, Tsuki removed her hands, not wanting to obstruct anything. Tsuki gave one last look at the guy, and then stepped back, taking a deep breath.

Aizen followed Luo into his and took as seat on on one of the red pillows indicated by Luo." Well first I would like to say thank you for meeting with me on such short notice Luo-Sama, and it's a new policy where the people in the organization work solely on a single task in order to better the chances of sucess through speicalization, but enough about that on to more pressing issues." he stated as he looked a Luo respectful, he could feel that Luo was watching his every move and reaction, a diplomatic powderkeg, is the type of sitution Aizen normally refered to it as. " Indeed, Jade has gone rogue as such the alliance that you and her formed is considered void, as such I was asked to come here and work out terms for a new alliance, with the first asking to be if the terms of the old alliance would still suit you Lord Luo-Sama." he stated the current sitution to the Luo, conveying as much respect as he possiblely could.

((Delete all the OOC.))
As Luo realized that the woman was dead, a sigh escaped his lips slowly. It seemed as though she had simply been dead long enough for the grief to have been wiped from Togusa's face. "I am sorry for your village's loss. Well to be honest, there were no set 'terms' to our alliance. As you know Jade was a rather unorthodox person. She simply asked that we be allies and help each other whenever needed. Can't say anyone would claim that such an alliance didn't suit them, but I will say that it has no borders so-to-speak."
As the first Luo spoke to Aizen, his clone watched intently how Tsuki worked, his pen scratching furiously as he did so. As she came to the pathogen and removed it as well as the senbon, Luo was surprised to see that she recognized it as a poison and the method in which she removed it. As she spoke to Luo casually, he retorted back carefully with a smile as he muttered, "Well I can't say it's anything horrible. I put my people first and my duty second. It's in this state of being that the people have given me their respect and praise, and mine to them." At last when the machine turned off, Dr. Chen's facial muscles tightened as this was the secondary reason he was here; to make sure no one died during this particular part. Watching with intrigue until the machine clicked on again, the room went silent for a moment before Luo glanced sideways at Dr. Chen muttering, "Well?" Turning his exam sheet to let Luo see it, he nodded and turned his attention back to the young girl. "Your timing, coordination, and overall composure were all impeccable. You even managed to find the bonus three extra senbon placed within the body, as well as finish the first part of the exam with time to spare. According to both Dr. Chen and my own test papers not only have you passed perfectly, but you have received above a perfect score, giving you the highest score in forty years, falling short of Dr. Chen's by six points." Picking up a headband from the assorted bunch in front of him, Luo tossed it to the girl with a smile. "Congratulations Tsukihana Hakke, Light of the mist: You have passed your genin exam."

Michael CorneliusKirigakure | Weapons/Taijutsu Specialist | Konaga | Academy Student Michael carefully approached the door that led to the Kage's office, taking no notice of how dirty he was. From the training, or skirmish as he would call it, sand had gotten everywhere, and some of his clothing was wet. It was something that he didn't mind, as he was used to it. There were bruises all over his arms, and fresh blood was still dripping from the glove on his right hand. Such a dirty man should have died long ago, but he usually tends to his hygenic needs once a day.
With a succession of three knocks on the door, the academy student grasped the handle of the door and slowly opened it, revealing himself to the situation inside. A look of slight recognition crossed his face as he noticed the girl inside, the rather lively one with red hair. Michael shook his head lightly and quickly locked his optics onto the Kage, walking into the door, closing the door, and stepping off to the side until he had finished his business. Setting a block in ones mind was effective, but he knew it would fade eventually, it always did.[Chakra: 30/30]
