Graff walks back to the lounge hoping that Par`il is there, "... hope Par`il can tell me what this mean... or maybe Shin Lu... she said that Ilyana had magical knowledge, maybe she can tell me if this apple is or was magical... now I regret having eated it..." Graff walks while juggling the eaten apple.

You'll never expect what you can't see... ((I wish to apologize profusely. My computer broke at the beginning of the year and my car began to malfunction within a few days after. As I am still in school as well as trying to maintain a job, transportation was the first priority. Again I am sorry. I'm going to send out a guild announcement to hopefully let everyone know we can return.)) ((HL, I am writing the ending to our fight as we have been waiting quite a long time. Hope you don't mind.)) ((Is this battle line up correct still: Kayla vs Shin-lu, Isaac vs Graff, Josh and Par'il vs Siom, Isaac vs Shin-lu (and Ilyana), Isaac vs. Siom, Official: Dark vs Selene (Don't worry, Isaac should get a break between his last two fights).))
Dark's blade came dangerously close to cutting her fingers off! Adeva let go of her weapon at the last minute. The katana collided with the falling staff close to Adeva, twisting just out of arm's reach. However, Adeva's quick thinking saved her from being weaponless. She kicked her foot forward, catching the pole in its decent and popped it back up into a defensive position. Again Dark smirked. "Heh! Again you humor me... but I won't allow you the chance to do that ag-..." Adeva, somewhat in a panic, attacked without hesitation. With most of her force, the weapon swung to the side of the assassin. Dark held up his sword to counter it. She changed the attack! The staff hit the sword and then spun around it, knocking the blade up into the air. Despite how the fight had been going, Dark actually seemed surprised by this upset. He watched the sword move up and out of sight and then locked eyes with his opponent. Her attack wasn't over! Having brought the staff above her head, Adeva proceeded in the reverse direction with it, aiming for Dark's skull. The experienced fighter quickly threw his arm straight up to nudge the moving staff to the side, avoiding him entirely. The katana finally stuck in the dirt at the base of a tree a short ways behind him. The attacking staff had collided with the ground next to his feet. Seeing an opening, Dark lunged forward at the small girl. Adeva took a quick inhale at the impact. She released her weapon, having this end fall to the ground as well, bouncing only once before resting like its opposite end. They stood there in silence as Adeva's arms fell limp to her sides - eyes, glossed over and watery. Dark, too, seemed to have tears falling from his eyes. His head rested against her chest, and his arms were wrapped around her sides, hands gripping tightly to the back of her shirt. "I'm... so glad... you are alright." He was...himself.
The now eaten apple had done nothing! Graff wasn't stronger; he wasn't more powerful; he wasn't enhanced magically. Save for it's unusual appearance and the odd note attached, the apple was in no way special on its own.
Par'il had already slowly made his way across the battlefield of the arena, making a few notes to himself about the current set-up of its lightly forested scenery. He had been standing on a balcony viewing that outside the arena at the top of the stands. He had seen the new half-fox approach with Nightwalker. After, he merely stared at the boundary of the arena grounds, waiting for the next round to begin.
Siom, after being distracted by Kayla fro a bit, decided to become serious once more as Kayla turned to see her wolf-friend. Nodding to the newcomer, an interesting half-fox breed, he then turned to Isaac who had just received a letter. Despite his curiosity, Siom didn't pry into asking about what the message was. "Isaac, as your pallet seems so large right now, what do you say we get one of your fights out of the way? Graff was the first to challenge you." He suddenly looked confused and scanned around the room rapidly, only to realize this man's competitor wasn't in the room. "Has anyone seem Graff since the end of the last match?"

Kayla looked back at Nightwalker. *Nightwalker, vel'uss zhah lil' ly'ryus dal?* she sent in question. *It's from the elders.* Nightwalker sent in reply. Isaac opened the letter and read it silently. 'What could the elders be sending us a letter for?' Kayla wondered curiously.
((Translation: Kayla: *Nightwalker, who is the letter from?*
It's alright thain, glad to have you back! ^_^))

You'll never expect what you can't see... Par'il, still a ways up on the stadium watching the arena ground's perimeter, witnessed Graff approaching the arena. 'Is he next to fight?' Allowing this question to subside in his mind, he continued to watch the edge of the forest. The calm wind rustling the leaves of the night was a relaxing sound to the elf. He began to wondered if he was starting to be homesick, but he dismissed these thoughts before depressing himself with images of the small, forest-engulfed village far from the human settlements. All considering, this time away isn't too long for an elf's lifespan.

"No, not really." Mira piped up. Isaac folded the letter once he was done. *Father, what did the elders want?* Kayla sent in wonder. Isaac looked back at his daughter. *I believe you'd better read it as well.* he sent back in reply. Kayla took the letter from her father and read it. 'Oh my goodness, it can't be!' she thought in suprise. *Where's Stardust?* Nightwalker sent in question to Mira. *She went to rest in Kayla's room.* Mira sent in reply. Isaac turned to Siom. "Sure, might as well get ready." he replied.
((What do you think the letter is about?))

Shin-lu, having gotten Ilyana her food, was walking back to the stadium with Ilyana on her back with a 6 foot long kebab and currently working on foot number 2. Shin-lu spotted Graff also heading to the arena. "Graff!" Shin-lu shouted over just before Ilyana accidentally whapped her in the side of her head with her kebab stick.

"Oh yeah I'm fine. that's what I get for giving her a spear to use as a kebab."
Ilyana shrugged as she continued to eat a chunk of meet around the middle of the stick.
"So how are you doing? Is your match next?" Shin-lu asked.

You'll never expect what you can't see... Par'il still stood atop the stadium. His attention was brought back to Graff as Shin-lu called out to him. He watched the figures from afar as Graff rushed to the woman with haste. One would think she was seriously injured by the way he ran to her. It was only know Par'il could see the weapon of veggies and flesh. 'How does a girl that frail keep a figure like that? Where does all the energy go - her source of magical power?' After their short conversation, Graff ran back to his cabin. Par'il only blinked. 'Was the challenger truly this ill-prepared?' he asked himself, having only heard Graff's panic.
Siom heard the man's response. He let out a small, yet strangely determined, grin before nodding. Walking just out the doors to the battlefield, he scanned the stadium. The trees made this task difficult, but from what he could tell, Graff wasn't there. Hoping the acoustics of the arena would amplify his voice enough to be able to be heard by graff, he called out. "Hey! Graff! You're up, buddy!" Par'il could feel the vibrations of the sound as Siom bellowed. The elf turned to look back into the stadium. The echo could easily be picked up by anyone within the Arena grounds.

Kayla kept reading the letter over and over, her hands shaking in anger. 'I can't believe it!' she thought, frowning slightly. Nightwalker walked up to Kayla, rubbing his muzzle against her hand. *Calm down. I understand you're upset, but please don't do anything harsh.* he sent to Kayla.
