...when your first idea for your lit analysis is to compare the original text of Shinel (The Overcoat) to 3 different translations, including the one you read in class... until you remember about a third of the way through your own "homegrown" translation that you can't, because that doesn't count as English literature anymore.

....When people stare at you when you are singing a song in a different language....happens to me a lot so i tell them i hope you fall ,or go to hell in something else they don't understand.

Whenever I play the German Runescape server I'm annoyed and amused by that.
Especially the people who say stuff along the lines of "OMG Y R U AL SPKIN GERMIN UR AL S2PID OMG!!!! SPK INGLESH ITS N INGLEHS GAM3!"

That's pretty strange though, considering if they're obviously on the German server, all the names of their items, all the dialogue, etc. would be clearly written in German.
Most of the English speakers, surprisingly, say they're from England when asked "wer u frum lol?"

Maybe I just didn't notice before. . . I think it's one of those newly implemented things. Kinda like the new and less-improved sound system. confused It's kinda nice to use it during the European school day, since that seems to be when the least Euros are on. Nobody continually hogging the coal mines... and continually spouting the word n00b as if it made them cool.
