Actually, now that I am thinking about it, I am pretty sure GameFreak will not discard DS Lite nor DSi in their Pokemon Games. Why? Because I am sure the graphics would look better on the 3DS, but can still play on DSi/DS Lite. 3nodding So, until Nintendo gives up on the DS Family, yes this includes 3DS, I won't get a 3DS. biggrin

the 3DS looks better because it has more processing power than a Wii... the DS/DSi can't even compare. however, since the 3DS is backwards compareable, and pokemon games don't really require that much to run, they may keep producing them for the DS/DSi, but who knows. maybe they'll decide to jump into full 3D next gen. it'll be a long time from now but the 3DS could probably handle that.

That's what happened when the DS first came out. Remember pokemon dungeon? They had a game boy version and a DS version. It lasted for a while, but then they abandoned GB and moved on. History will repeat itself for the 3DS.
Once it's become popularized enough (And it will becuase of it's unique 3D feature) they will make all 3DS games, such as the new iccarus game biggrin
