Sharkbutt The Orgiastic Decavolty Sharkbutt The Orgiastic OKAY, SO i started up ff8 because reasons and so far i guess it's a dating sim??? i mean look at how much of this game centers around having a gf characters literally become useless without one but like i can see how shiva might qualify for a good girlfriend she clearly cares enough about you to stop by and flash freeze a bunch of asshats when you ask her to but come on ifrit isn't even a lady and quetzal is a goddamn ********' bird birds do not make good girlfriends they're ********' birds end of argument welp, guess I have to play FF8 again.... Seifer is an arrogant a**, Zell is cartoonishly hotheaded, Squall is the typically rebellious teen, and Quistis is an actually intriguing character in that she's kind of immature for a military instructor. spoilers i ******** hate ff8 because of the characters the mechanics are neat though

Bahamut's too high maintenance. great tits though man bahamut always has this weirdo god complex thing some s**t about being king of dragons or whatever it's such a goddamn turn-off

I wouldn't be surprised if I just stopped playing partway through, then. Mechanics are neat, yeah, but even though FF7's protagonist and antagonist were pretty dumb, the vast majority of the other characters were pretty interesting. These ones just seem kind of...one-dimensional so far. Like, they're going to have some kind of life-changing revelation later, of course, but it's clear that they're all going to have this realization as one together and then just not have it effect their personalities in the slightest.

I feel like the entire plot was very well resolved with the Secret Reports. I'm curious to see if they'll find a way to continue the story of the kids from the first or hit us with a new batch.

Squall is sort of alright so far, since he stays quiet most of the time, and Zell is bearable because at worst he makes me roll my eyes and smile to myself. Seifer is just...ugh. Credit for being believable in that I know people exactly like that, though.
