He clasped both of their hands before moving towards the door, "It is an old tradition my people keep alive." he then opened the door, his armblades going back into his body, just as Monaleth opened the door. There eyes met for only a moment before they walked past each other.
"Lady Merlin...what is going on?" she asked after a moment

Rike was silent the whole time Tyr spoke, more out of shoke than anything else. He just couldn't believe that he had to choose between killing his own daughter or exiling her.
It was far too much like his own past...
He left the room a few minutes after Monaleth came in, not even saying hi.

Merlin smiled at Tyr's back, making such a hand shake with vampires was rather risky indeed. Her attention turned to Monaleth and she proceeded to summarize the night's events.

Monaleth sat down and folded her arms, "And are you sure we can trust this Tyr?"
"Mona, if we can't trust him then we're pretty much screwed." Tien replied.

Merlin's smile was purely predatory, "Tyr and I exchanged blood, though not orally, I am now linked to the man. It isn't too strong of a link but strong enough. If he does decide to try and decieve me, I will know about it." She looked at her palm. As her cut had healed it had sucked the blood in and she smiled at her once again flawless hand. She stood then, "I better show him the way to the third level, he needs the code."

"Then we don't trust him at all..." Mona replied, following Merlin, "Makes sense seeing as his people apparently conquer worlds." she looked at Tyr as he waited nearby. But I wonder if he had the same plan in mind...

Merlin's arm snaked around Mona's shoulders and her free hand moved to caress her jaw. She moved her lips close to Mona's ear, "You should know there is only one who can truly know me." She purred softly.

Jen took her hand back not paying any attention to the others, she hoped that she didn't do the wrong thing. She turned to see everyone leaving and decided to follow.

She pressed the button for the elevator. A moment later it dinged open and Merlin stepped in, waiting for Tyr, typing in the code for the third floor.

Merlin raised a brow then chuckled, "I'm sorry everyone but I'm going to have to kick you off. The third floor is designated as Tyr's new home base and will be off limits for a time." She gave everyone apologetic looks....well, as close as she planned on getting to an apologetic look.

Tyr chuckled before shaking his head, "No...and we wouldn't have destroyed the city. We would simply take over."
"Isn't that nice.." Tien murmured before the door opened.
"I believe I realize now why your brother slammed you into a tree..." Tyr answered before stepping out of the elevator and leaving a hurt Tien behind.
"Meanie..."
