"Its an angel blade," she giggled then winked, "I just want to be prepared." Then looking back to the sky she bit her lip. "Do we need to worry," she asked.

"Finally!" Jack declared. "I've been waiting for some action!" he added, grinning as he drew the Warlord Sword.
Kain didn't say anything, but drew the Soul Reaver all the same. He was glad for a chance to battle, as he had some frustration he needed to work off.
"Where or where is the enemy hiding?" Etna asked, grinning as she drew her ax.

"Now this is my kind of fight." Revy said, as excitement lit up in her eyes. She saw the darkening skies, and thought briefly about the never ending excitement here. "Maybe, I should just stay here.." she thought out loud to herself.

Ai blinked she didn't know why the monk wanted her to do such a thing. "Why?" she asked as she put her hands over her ears. If the new evil used sound she could fight back with holy noise right?

Oomizu looked up at the on coming enemy and grabbed her staff as she prepared a purifying barrier. "Where's mom when you need her? Her soul collectors would come in handy right about now."

the Banshee let out a deafing scream, which pulsed through the entire ship, killing a deck hand swabbing the deck with her scream alone
"Thats why!" Miroku yelled. "Its a banshee! if it screams and your not protecting your ears, it ruptures the veins leading to your head"

Roland covered his ears quickly before he felt the full on force of the scream.
Roy quickly stood with his hands over his ears and kicked the ground to try and make a pillae of earth smash the banshee from around the boat.

Luffy had covered his ears as soon as he could before the Banshee screamed.
Sanji and Zoro covered their ears.

Jack flinched, entirely grateful he'd listened to Miroku's advice. Only being human, he'd have instantly died like the deck hand. "I've got earplugs!" he called out, putting a couple in his own hears. "Jack-Bots, hand them out!" The robots saluted and zipped off to the different members, handing out earplugs as they go.
"Its screams do nothing to me!" Kain declared, confidently. Of course, it was a bit of a lie; it wouldn't kill him, but it did hurt. A good analogy would be a small child screeching near an adult; painful, headache-inducing, but not harmful or lethal. He launched a telekinetic blast towards the banshee.
