He let her drink, nodding a bit before a soft sigh came from him and he placed the drink away. It was nearly gone… “Would you like me to get you something else?” He looked amused, watching her before he stood up. Rave didn’t know what was going to happen with them but he did know that he had to do anything in his power to make sure that the other ended up okay and didn’t end up… like Monty. His lips tightened in a thin line as he turned, beginning to get something for her to drink again, mostly just to be able to walk. Eldin watched, sighing softly before he walked to Gambler, sitting down beside her, “Miss Gambler, are you feeling better still?”

Kit shook her head, running her hand slowly up and down his back, “Let him come up on his own, Joker. The fact that he even is down there means that whatever Eri did is breaking and that… that’s very good. He’ll come up after he gets his solace. It won’t take too long, I don’t think.” She kissed his cheek again, resting against him as she sighed softly. Kit didn’t want Monty to be dead, she didn’t want Joker to be in pain, she didn’t want Kalore to go through all this yet again…but what could she do? Nothing. She couldn’t do anything to stop this and all she could do was hold her friends and hope, pray, for the best.

Stroking his hair, Kit smiled softly, “I want to be good to you, Joker… You’re good to me, so… why shouldn’t I be good to you?” She kissed his forehead, sighing softly. “I think… I really don’t know, actually.” Kit wished that she had some amazing piece of advice that would make all of this easier for everyone but alas, she didn’t. Stroking his hair, she sighed once more. “I think getting back to Area 6 is going to be the best but um… if you want… if you don’t want to be around all this then you can stay with me for a few days? Or if you need something then I’ll come over and help, alright?”

Eldin smiled when he saw that she was working to get her body working again. Nodding some, the smile stayed on, “that’s good. Sir Rave went to get you another water if you want it. Do you want to see if I can maybe help you up or will that be too much?” He figured that she’d be able to take it, but sometimes one just didn’t know… he didn’t want to push her too far but if Gambler was able to do more then it was best if it was done so that they could get things going. Plus… he wanted her stable and in good health before anyone told her about Monty.

Eldin paled as he took her arm, shaking his head, “I-I could never do that to S-Sir Rave…” “Do what?” Said man entered the room, raising a brow as he looked at Gambler, his eyes locking on her as he nodded some to her. “It is good to see you up, Gambler.” Rave walked to her, his steps slow, careful, but he wasn’t cautious, but maybe a little… but no, he wanted to have her again, close to him, but he knew that if he did anything that she didn’t approve of, the pain was just going to come to him sooner and he really didn’t want that. “Your water, Gambler, if you are thirsty?”

Noticing the swelling of tears, Kit smiled sadly, touching his cheek before they were hugging close once more. “I will help with what needs to be done for Monty. Then, you can stay with me.” Holding one another for a while, it was silent before she closed her eyes. “I… I moved, by the way.” Kit figured that they needed to find something else to say other than the things about Monty. It… it was horrible what had happened but she didn’t want the other to be completely upset about it and not be at least a little distracted. Anything she could do to attempt to help, she would.

He watched her for a moment before he nodded, setting the cup down beside her. When asked about Sin, Eldin even glanced over at the other, curious about what the other was planning on telling her about. Was he really dead or had they just figured that he had died? He wasn’t going to lie to her but… “Sin has been disposed of.” Eldin blinked, watching the other. Just those words… they were creepy… he knew that Rave was the one that had been the one to get rid of the man just by how he reacted and spoke. Just what had the other done?

Nodding, Kit returned the soft kiss to his cheek, “Alright… I’ll go down there with you.” She stroked his cheek, smiling softly at him. “If Kalore is still down there… do you want me to try and get him away from Monty?” If Kalore was still down there then she would be worried… but he was still down there, collapsed on Monty’s chest, whispering every now and then that he knew it wasn’t him, his burns covered by his hair, his eyes closed. Fading in and out of sleep, Kalore wasn’t sure that he was going to be okay for a long time.

Dusk bit her lip as she watched the other leave, sighing softly. She couldn’t believe this… but she wouldn’t say anything about it. Instead, she followed Kyoshi, letting the door softly close behind them as her sad eyes went to the other, gently touching his arm. For now, she said nothing. What would words do now, honestly? She couldn’t think of anything, really… but maybe it would be something that would be good, but once she figured out those words then they would be said. Now, however… Dusk just kept her hand on him, resting her forehead against his shoulder.

She nodded, sighing softly as they began to walk out, keeping Joker’s hand in her own, “I don’t think that there’s going to be a way. If he’s exhausted himself or something then we can lead him out, but…” Kit touched a bruise that she had noticed had formed on Joker’s skin, frowning more. “I think that he won’t let us take him away if he’s not tired or down already.” She sighed once more, shaking her head. This was horrible… this was hell. No, she didn’t want to think of this anymore. “But… let’s just talk to him first, alright?” That would be for the best. Leading Joker, she kissed his cheek once more before they headed down where Kalore was still collapsed on top of Monty, weak cries coming from him every now and then, but now he had nearly exhausted himself. He could barely form the words to speak; his mouth too dry, his throat having given out a while ago.

Nothing was said for a moment. Rave noticed the shiver and it actually bothered him that she would do that about him. He knew that he was strong and he knew that he could do things that people might know but, like Eri, were very underestimated. He had a feeling that she had thought of that right then. But, he wouldn’t lie to her. “Dead.”

She leaned over, resting against him as she nodded. “I need to go and get presentable, fix this white hair, and then go to my people so that they know that there is some form of control and order still there.” Dusk sighed softly, kissing his cheek as she wrapped her arms around him, resting her cheek against his back. “I need to find something that will mask any and all wounds. A royal needs to be untouchable so that the people have something to believe in… then, I need to talk with the council so that I’ll be able to talk to them about better defenses…” Maybe even fire some asses.

A look of pain crossed Kit’s face as she saw her friend. To see him like this… she could barely stop herself from crying but her eyes were watered as she nodded, “Yeah… carry him out, please… The… The chess’ are gone, along with Harley and the boy… so… we can put him there.” It hurt so much to see him like this and she reached out, gently stroking his hair but Kalore didn’t move. Instead, he seemed to grip Monty’s arm tighter, his tearstained face out of view but the shaky breathing that of anyone who had been crying much too hard.

Eldin stiffened a bit, looking away as he thought about the things that had gone bad. So many things… so many things had gone bad. Rave didn’t stop, however. Gambler was the boss, even if she had kicked him out of her group, so… “Raul has been badly harmed, four new comrades of Cecilia’s have come in and assisted us. Also, the city of Area 6, portions of it, are badly ruined while others have remained untouched. My home has been preserved for we had more warning, but people have died in both cities.” And now the hard part… she had asked about the things that had gone bad and Monty… Monty had definitely gone bad. “Many have been… injured.” He knew he should tell her but… was it his place now?

Kit’s eyes welled with tears as she heard the soft sounds from Kalore, finally able to see the pained face that was her friend. She watched as he was taken away, shaking her head as her arms wrapped around herself. To think… Red was gone. Looking at the demon, she bit her lip softly, running a hand through her hair. Kalore was going to kill them for moving him away from him but that made her curious. So… he remembered what had actually happened? Maybe he could at least tell them something other than the fire and Monty having been there.

Thinking about that, Dusk sighed before she nodded, “I think that it would be best if you started to assist me with the meetings, Kyoshi.” She watched him as he complimented the hair, scoffing. “I hate it… I want it dyed back to black… the white in it makes me look like some skunk or something.” Yes, jokes… she wanted jokes, she didn’t want this seriousness that was hovering over all of them like some plague that had no cure. Touching her hair, she sighed again before she leaned up, kissing him softly. “I’ll have to get rid of it for now so that no one thinks that I got touched during all this… we can gradually have it if you wish, but I hate it… If you’re ready, though… we need to get changed.”

Rave frowned as he thought about this but he looked at Eldin first, “Go check on Raul, Eldin.” The boy was about to object but he bit his lip, quickly leaving the room, leaving them alone as the door closed. Sighing softly, Rave looked at the other. “Yes, there is something else, Gambler. Monty was harmed in the fight and it seems… Monty has not survived.”
