A swirl of steel dust would appear off to the side of the group, and there stood Desh as usual. "I have a third option for you, Abyss. You release Lance, and in return I'll give you what you really want." Desh was of course talking about the elemental holders. He was bluffing, but once Abyss' hold on Lance was released Desh would be satisfied.

"Lance, you don't even need to help Hell's armies. You know I can get you what you want and need without a contract for something unchangable."

"Why do that when I can teach you how to use your brother's strength against him. I've faught your brother too, I know what power he possesses. And to top that, train you the right way. I can use Hell's Ice as well as Fire Lance."
Kikyo glared at Abyss.
"And what have you done to my son?"

Lance opened his eyes to see Kikyo and Abyss and sat up slowy as hell's snow began to build into the wound covering it up and healing.. Lance looked to his hand which was covered in black blood.. "Have I been cured?" He asked looking at the blood and standing up, but struggle to keep his balance.. "What good an I to eitehr of you, I lost most of my strength, I'm a useless took, I can't lead troop into battle or for the matter, I can't even think on how, or where to begain with this life.." He said looking at Both Kikyo and Abyss.. "To be honest you both have what I want, but only one of you truely feels what I need." He said looking at the blood...
Voxin screeched as looked at Kikyo as if he was sensing Lance's thoughts.. He then flew to the air and landed on Lance's hand and dropped a piece of something..

Hells_Ice_Demon Lance opened his eyes to see Kikyo and Abyss and sat up slowy as hell's snow began to build into the wound covering it up and healing.. "However, I could care less for all this pointless drawl. Lance, you may decide later what you want but right now I need you to pay your debt so I may return to my earlier engagements.." Abyss exclaimed irritably. with a swift motion, Abyss and lance fell back into the rift. A loud snapping sound was heard as the rift slammed shut. the darkness cleared upon the other side, Abyss lifted Lance to his feet, only for him to see a small room. "You are on guard duty. Had it been anything else I would have just dropped the contract but I am bound to it as are you. I am giving you something simple to do and I expect you to stay here until the task is done." Abyss said as he sat in a lounge chair not far off. "By the way, you have two things to watch after. First thing is little Damian here..." Abyss directed his speech to a crudely made crib. "the other task for you is to watch this little edifice, here you can see Daniel and the others" Abyss pointed to a large window, which faced an enormous object with Daniel and a few of the elemental holders imprisoned with him. "Keep watch and only leave out the door to your right if you see anyone enter the space outside the window. Do this, and I will give you the Abysmal Core, a one of a kind replica of my very own heart. Now ta ta, I must be off to make sure that Cruxis is Veeeery fired up at hell" Abyss laughed casually as he vanished.

Nathaniel turned and walked off with Kikyo not looking back at Lance or Abyss. he had no care or love for either of them so it did not matter to him what happened to them.
as they walked into the castle Nathan grabbed Kikyo's wrist and pulled her to face him.
"are you ok baby?"
he asked worriedly

Nathaniel pulled her into his warm arms and rocked her slightly.
"shh. you still have Aiden and I. and i will do everything to get Scarlet's will to her own."
as he finished he kissed her forehead.

Jeohin slammed his fist down on the bed in frustration
"damn it! not again."
he could still smell the stench of blood on him.
Jeohin combed his fingers through his smooth black hair and stood up with a sorrowful look on his face. but he changed it to a pleasant one when he walked over to Emily. He reached his hand down to her to help her up.
"what are you doing down there?"
he asked with a light laugh. yet behind his bright smile, there was still the sorrowful pain deep in his eyes.

Emily took his hand and trembled softly. Remembering all that she had seen.

Shina walked outside, looking at both the angels that Oblivion healed and the ones dead. She walked up to one who was dead and kneeled down. She mouthed a prayer and the body of the angel disappeared. A light floating from where it was. She walked over to the next one with the light following her and did the same. The new light went with the old one and collided with it, joining together and becoming the size of both of them together. She continued doing this untill all the dead were gone and turned to the, now fairly large ball of light. She said one more prayer and the light disappeared. She sighed and walked over to the dragons. She used her earth elemental power, although she didn't like using it very much, and straightened out the ground, taking the rustled up dirt and packing it down in its intentioned place. She couldn't do much for the dead trees so she made a giant blade out of black ice, with the help of Oblivion's power so she didn't pass out from the energy she was using, and cut them down to the ground, and cut them into logs a size that could be used for fires. After this, both she and Oblivion were pretty much spent. Oblivion though, could go back in sword form for ten minutes and be fine. Shina wished it were that simple for her. She called Oblivion and Fate back into sword form and put oblivion back in her shealth. She sighed and sat down outside Jeohin's tent and closed her eyes, waiting for Jeohin to come out on his own and taking this opportunity to get at least a little rest.
