Hannah saw Bastian's shot get blocked by their Captain, and her heart was buoyed by his success, and then she saw Bludgers speeding toward Emma and Mel, courtesy of Jazzy's smoking hot Beater bat. "Heck of a choice," muttered the Seventh Year, but their was only one right answer for this one. Breathing an ill-tempered oath, Hannah dove in to try to keep the Bludger from hitting their Seeker, after all she'd promised her to try to keep her safe. She swooped in, hoping to keep her promise and redirect the animated cannonball back at Jazzy.

╚══════════════════════╝ Brianna trailed behind the Hufflepuff chasers, trying her best to not only catch up to them, but to also get her hands on the quaffle. The badgers were really having a great day today. Brown eyes widened in anticipation as the same chaser who scored earlier tried to score again, but Kimberly managed to block the shot, thankfully. And she also blocked the pass between Kimberly and Gid and tried to score once more. Jeez, what was that now, her fourth attempt? Oh, now a fifth attempt. Luckily, Kimberly was an excellent keeper, or else the lions would've been so behind. Finally, with Bas clutching to the quaffle, the chasers made their way down towards Hufflepuff's goalposts and Brianna watched as he tried to score, but he missed. At least they had a chance, she guessed. Between Bas and Gid and Hufflepuff's luck, Brianna felt like she was stuck. She felt useless, but she was trying (when she could). And right now, all she could do was hover nearby until she might be needed.
