Amy looked at Karrie and nodded while laughing softly still. "Yes, I think I do. I should make you come back home with me and help me, both you and Mitri."
Thistle trilled in surprise when Mitri's nose touched hers and her already-large eyes widened more. Then, she leaned forward and bumped her forehead against Mitri's.

*grins* I'd like that, but we've got to head home. I want to get an early start tomorrow so we can get something done while it's still cool outside. Then we'll probably head over to Aqua Springs to cool off.

Amy arched an eyebrow at Karrie and smirked. "Oh really. You just now have to leave after I was about to drag you home with me and put you to work? How convenient, Karrie."
She winked at Karrie playfully.
Thistle blew air out of her mouth into Mitri's face. She whinnied in laughter when she saw his hair blow backward. She blew in his face again to watch his hair move again.

(( Cats are very independent and tend to choose one person as their human. Dogs are "Man's Best Friend" and tend to like most everyone! xd
I grew up with dogs in the family, and have had 2 others since then. In between the last 2 dogs, I had a cat that I had to give to my brother because spouse didn't want cat [hairs] in the new house. After Ex moved out, I adopted a "Katrina Pet", a Siamese mix cat that I just adore. heart And almost 1-1/2 years ago, I took in my uncle's calico cat after he died. That one has a "love me/hate me" relationship with me. stressed
I have what I call "Animal Magnetism" inside of me. Most pets seem to gravitate towards me, knowing sensing that I'm an animal lover! whee
Cuwen, you must have "barn cats" then. My cats have all been indoor cats. My first one, Tinker lived to be 17 years old. Kyo the Siamese mix is about 10 years old now, and Smokey the calico is about 5 years old. I had read somewhere that indoor cats live a lot longer than outdoor cats, with outdoor cats life spans averaging about 5 years. neutral ))

Thistle squeaked sadly and her wings hung down her sides dejectedly. Why did he have to leave so soon?
A few moments later, though, she yawned largely. She hadn't been paying attention, but she was actually pretty tired now.
Amy watched Karrie leave. She was slightly surprised at how abruptly he left. That was odd.
She sighed and shook her head. This was just getting weird. She seriously was starting to wonder if Karrie had either a double personality or a clone. But then again, after what happened with Dame, he was probably just really affected by that. He must have really cared for her to be affected this deeply. Maybe it'd be best for both of them if she avoided Karrie for awhile. Maybe having another girl around that he hadn't known for very long was just stressful for him. Maybe just having Kits around was best for him.
She shook her head and walked over to Thistle. She hated it when she thought this much about something, but she wanted to do what would be best for Karrie, and she didn't know what that was. But it was also getting to be stressful for her to frequently change how she interacted with Karrie simply because he was so hot and cold.
A headache was beginning to form and she looked at Killa. "Sorry Killa, but I'm going to have to head out. It's pretty late for Thistle and I'm getting a headache. I might not be in tomorrow because I should spend some time at Aqua Springs. I haven't been there since Friday. I'll probably see you the day after, though. Night Killa... and night to your grunny."
She smiled softly and then headed out.

{{I actually live in town on main street. lol! We just can't have the cats inside because of allergies. When I move out, I plan to have an indoor cat. I live with my parents right now. The economy went to hell right when I was getting out of college. So I'm living with them while I look for another graphic design job.
When I took one of our cats to the vet, the vet weighed him and said he was surprised at his weight. He said it was healthy and that most outside cats are skinny, almost too much. So even though they're outside, I treat them like they're indoor cats and spoil them. lol! I also let Whisper (a cute tabby) inside every once in awhile when my parents aren't home b/c she's so well-behaved.
I love half Siamese cats! They're so friendly. My favorite cat was a boy half Siamese, half Ragdoll cat. Long fluffy fur with Siamese coloring! So cute! And, of course, slightly crossed blue eyes. lol. He was so friendly. I loved him to death. And on Animal Planet, which I watch a lot, they say that half Siamese cats are actually one of the friendliest breeds around.

{{It's funny b/c full Siamese cats are thought to be the most temperamental breed of cat (though I think that's just a myth) and yet half Siamese cats have been studied and are considered to be the friendliest breed. lol! And do you know that a Siamese who is cross-eyed is actually closer to a tradition Siamese than one that doesn't have crossed eyes?! Traditionally, all Siamese cats had crystal blue eyes that were crossed. Now humans have been trying to breed that out of them. I always thought that Snowball (the name of my half Siamese) had something wrong with him because he was cross-eyed, but apparently it meant that his father must have been a traditional Siamese cat. lol.}}
