Tai turned towards Jack, glaring at him through his mask.

"I won't mess up this time," he said, "I will keep you from her even if it kills me!"

As he said this, his anger got ahold of him and his spiritual pressure grew to twice what it already was, not much compared to Jack or Onijiro Chikami, but it was all he could do without letting his old power take over and risk attacking his allies or the princess.

"Very well," Tai began, "Princess Sakura, I hope you can forgive me, but I will do everything in power to keep him from touching you."

As he said this, he lifted the mask from his face, revealing that the whites in his left eye had turned black, and the iris yellow. He crushed the mask and it disolved into thin air. The area grew still and eerilly quiet for a few seconds, before a massive amount of darkness began swirling around Tai, engulfing him for a second before being absorbed, though not effecting his power level. When this was over, a whit liquid pulled from the air itself, forming an uncontroled version of the mask on his face, but only half of it. With an evil grin, Tai exhaled, his breath being visible from the sudden drop in temperature.

As Jack went into the air, he drew Tai's attention to himself. Having spotted the enemy, he almost flew up the mountain because of his speeds, leaping up at Jack and striking at him with the Dragon Katana. Inside, the Tai that protected the pincess watched, ready to take control of the left arm and rip the mask from his face if anything got out of hand.

As he was struck, Tai was sent flying, crashing into the ground near Princess Sakura. He had made a small crater, but got up quickly, laughing maniacly as he made another leap at Jack. In mid air, he swung the blade, not even being close to Jack, and unleashed an uncontroled Getsuga Tenshou. It zig-zagged at first before coming into a spiral.

Jack's grabbing ahold of Tai was actually quite idiotic since they were apparently fight on par with each other. Lifting the blade, Tai laughed insanely as he quickly slashed at the hand that held him. However, out of sheer randomness in combat, he vanished just before the blade could connect, reappearing by using the shadows they cast, even while in the air. he placed a hand on Jack's right shoulder from behind, still laughing as he raised the Dragon Katana.

As the tail slashed his chest, leaving a fairly deep wound, Tai grabbed ahold of it. Laughing, he swung the blade of his weapon towards it, in an attempt to slice it off. However, unfortunately for Jack, and Tai as well, the Tai most people knew, who watched from inside his own mind, was currently under attack by the being whose mask he wore. It was the exact opposite of himself, being white where he was black, blue where he was red. Although that's just the armor; its sking was white, as well as it's hair, and it laughed as it began overpowering him.

Tai ignored the scorching blood on his armor as he laughed, wrenching the blade from Jack's tail violently. He grinned evilly as he raised the blade again.

"Oh?" he asked, now begining to talk, "Let's see just how well you take care of yourself after this,"

With that, he swung, aiming for Jack's neck. It wasn't certain that he would hit, or that even if he did that it would kill the man, but this Tai didn't care, so long as he got control over the lesser evil Tai's body.
