It hurts my poor sensitive ears and will damage your beautiful...ehm...manvoice! And I am not a ninnypants! *Stamps foot* *sigh* Then what can I do?!

sweatdrop Now that that's out of my system... please allow me to elaborate.
See, Youko wants to audition for the Renaissance Faire this year. Very, very badly. But there are so many requirements for auditions. She needs help. D: Badly.
Youko needs:
-One-minute long classical monologue
-16-32 a capella bars of a song, no opera, belt and/or legit. permitted.
gonk Youko is torn between two monologues. One's out of a novel, so she doesn't know if it'll be allowed. Another's from the infamous opera, Faust, but it's simply far too long. gonk

And... erm... belting is when you... belt it out. That's the only way I can really say it. When you belt, you sing really, really loudly.
As for legit., well... sweatdrop I haven't got the slightest clue, nor does my friend, whom is musically inclined. Which frightens me. Because if we don't know, maybe the people at the Ren-faire just made up that term to wig out auditionees. Or something. ninja

Y'ought to do something pretty that compliments your voice. Like, choose something for your range and whatever brings out your voice the best.
Me? I'm partial to Castle on a Cloud or something to that effect. I like that song. XD
