Draeken looked to her and nodded. "Yes. I know this isnt your tower, but if memory serves me right it's nearby isnt it?" He looked around and shook his head. "I hate this place. We're in Truinthil's Fortress. If this still isnt near where you need to be, he will be better able to take you there."

" Truinthil's Fortress....Yes it should be just nearby according what I have learned....how do we get out of here..this place is giving me the creeps..." She mentioned as she still was holding D's hand, and slightly tighter as she was growing nervous being around in that place. the things she has read int he journal weren't too pleasing especially what she hears or have seen done to Draeken.. " Please...I dont want to meet Truinthil right now...I'll Help Heal you up back at my tower..."

Looking a bit confused, Draeken shrugged and sighed a bit. "I guess I can search for it. I'm unfamiliar with it so there's no telling exactly where I might drop us off in your tower." He took a slow breath and brought them both back into the shadows. This trip would be a matter of only seconds as he found where he was headed and stepped out into what seemed to be an empty room devoid of any hazards waiting for him when he emerged.

(To the tower then I guess)

Stopping in mid stride only a floor beneath the entry hall, Truinthil sighed. She fled again. What exactly was Draeken doing, however, carting her around as if they were friendly with each other. Something odd was going on. It didn't matter though. She would return, he was sure. So with a small shrug and a snicker of smugness, Truinthil turned around and headed back to the depths of the Fortress to resume his works.

Stepping from the shadows deep within the Fortress, Draeken was still grinning as he looked around. "Oi! Where are you old...friend?" He was referring to Truinthil. Or rather, the clone that now resided here. "I've come to...speak with you." He had, though that was only part of the reason he was there.

Looking up from what he was prodding at, Truinthil narrowed his eyes and turned towards Draeken's voice. Moving with eloquence, yet with speed he all but charged Draeken from the side, coming up on this rather crude intruders left side. "I really don't appreciate people barging in the way you have." His right fist was coming straight for Draeken's jaw.

Looking to his left as Truinthil charged him in a rather lazy manner, Draeken's grin only widened as he brought up his left hand to swat Truinthil's fist off course. "Too slow." Following his counter quickly, Draeken grabbed Truinthil's wrist with his left hand and pulled while at the same time bringing his right fist in an uppercut towards Truinthil's gut. "You shouldn't underestimate me just because I don't have the Old Man anymore."

Truinthil's eyes widened in shock as he was easily countered. His shock was followed quickly by pain as Draeken's fist impacted with his stomach, knocking the air from his lungs. Coughing heavily he tried to regain his feet, attempting to pull his hand from Draeken's grasp while at the same time kicking at his opponents ankles to try and trip him.

Maintaining his firm grip on Truinthil's wrist he jumped over the sweep kick and brought his right foot up quickly to kick Truinthil in the chin. The speed with which Draeken was moving, and the strength behind his attacks were much more impressive than what he should have been able to do only days before. "I had hoped we could have negotiated something, but I see it will have to come to this. I'll just have to take what I need."

T: Still coughing for breath, Truinthil saw the kick coming and was completely unable to block or avoid seeing as his arm was still held by Draeken. As the kick connected with his chin he felt his jaw all but shatter and he groaned in pain as his face suddenly felt as it were on fire. He lifted from the ground and started to sail backwards through the air.

D: Letting go of Truinthil's wrist he let the man fly backwards through the air. Landing gently he crouched down and quickly jumped into the air, aiming to bring his right knee down upon Truinthil's chest.

T: Opening his eyes as he was nearing the ground he saw Draeken dropping from the air above him. As his back met the floor, Draeken's knee met with his his chest. Ribs cracking loudly, what little air Truinthil still held in his lungs was forced out. He was only able to groan loudly in pain since his jaw refused to open. Coughing then only hurt more because of his jaw. Soon, his coughing would turn to gurgling as he began to choke on blood that had risen into his throat.

D: Grimacing at Truinthil who lay on the floor choking on his own blood, Draeken laughed a bit. Roughly he turned the man onto his side with his foot and knelt down to pound on his back, attempting to get some of the blood from his throat. "I can't have you dying right now. Not that these minor injuries would kill you anyway. I know you could survive worse. I just had the element of surprise and the advantage right from the beginning since you misjudged me." Sitting back on his heels Draeken smiled wide. "Now, I will take what I need and leave you be. This will probably hurt more than your jaw or your chest." Leaning forward then he held tightly onto Truinthil's shoulder and jerked his head to one side, exposing as much of his neck as he could. He then sunk his fangs into the mans neck. He was not going to drain him, but instead take only enough to gain what he wanted.

T: Truinthil's eyes shot wide open as he felt a part of himself being siphoned out of his body. Thoughts began to race through his mind as he understood what was being done. Draeken was using his need for blood as a vampire to his advantage. Normal vampires weren't able to do this, but because of his lineage, Draeken had discovered he could take from other races their traits and even some small portion of their powers and abilities. In a sense he was able to at will make himself into an entirely new being where as his ancestor attained his changes through freak accidents and near death experiences.

D: It only took about a minute before Draeken released Truinthil and stood up wiping his lips, a savage smile on his lips and a fierce light in his eyes. "I thank you for your...Contribution." He turned then and disappeared into the shadows, leaving Truinthil to fend for himself."

T: Rolling onto his stomach, Truinthil began to crawl his way towards the room where the regeneration tanks were. He wasn't in danger of losing his life, but he needed to get himself fixed up. Draeken may not be in his right mind. He needed to be ready to stop anything Draeken might try to do that would endanger not only his own plans, but the lives of everyone.

Stepping out of her shadows near the entry way, she merely dusted herself as the air was thick. She sighed slightly as she glanced briefly around before taking a few steps. " This place needs some fresh air..."

After roaming around for a bit and not sensing anyone, she sighed as she waved her hand over a small table. the dust cleared off, as it whirled into a reddish mist, forming into a rose, in which she laid on the table. With the remaining mist she forming it to say -Sai- under the rose. With a nodded she made her way out.

It had been some time since Truinthil had entered the regeneration tank. Unfortunately in the state he had been in he had neglected to set the damned machine properly and it had taken far longer to heal him than it would have taken for him to heal without it.

The tank opened and he fell upon the floor only semi-conscious and completely unable to upright himself. His muscles had atrophied quite a bit. Coughing a bit Truinthil started to drag himself from the machine, each foot gained setting his arms ablaze. He could not allow himself to stop, however. He needed to get his muscles working in proper order and find out just what had gone on since Draeken had assaulted him and used him as a tool for gaining more power. He did not especially like being used in any manner.

Some several hours later Truinthil had managed to summon the strength to prop himself up against a desk in a room adjacent to the regeneration tanks. Breathing heavily he waited a few moments before turning and grabbing the desktop and slowly pulling himself up, using his legs for extra leverage until he stood, barely able to balance and stay upright. He reached then carefully for a small wooden box set at the back of the desk next to some stacked books. He had never thought he would actually need to use this cocktail of chemicals, but then again, he had never thought he would be a clone of himself let alone that any portion of him would be turned good.

Pulling the box towards himself Truinthil opened it and stared at the three small vials within. Each had a plastic cap at the top, underneath which contained a small needle. He grabbed up all three in his right hand and pulled off the first cap with his teeth before shakily managing to slide the needle into the vein in the crook of his elbow. It amazed him he was able to manage that, but that amazement was quickly gone as the fluid contained within the vial emptied into his bloodstream and his entire body seemed to erupt with a burning sensation.

Eyes wide and unblinking, staring madly at the ceiling Truinthil managed to repeat the process with the second and third vials before collapsing to the floor twitching and groaning. Soon, if he hadn't been lost in the mind numbing pain, he would hear the sickening sounds of his muscles rapidly rebuilding, the blood pounding in his ears as his heart pumped near to exploding. Within a minute he was thrashing on the ground going from a fetal position to spread eagle over and over.

The whole process took only a few minutes, but afterwards Truinthil lay on the floor breathing heavily, his eyes still wide as his mind returned to him and his heart slowed. He had felt pain worse, but that had usually been when he had been blown into pieces or on the occasions he had technically died. Those had all been incredibly short lived events, however. This had felt like an eternity of pain. But it was over now. He had to get up. He had to find out what was going on in the world. He had to catch up with so many things. Instead, though, he passed out from exhaustion.

It would be several hours before he awoke with a start. Sitting bolt upright Truinthil looked around and groggily began to remember the events that led up to his being on the floor. Grumbling to himself in irritation he stood and immediately set about getting to his room to get clothes on.

Within several minutes he had gotten to his room, dressed himself and had already darted into the shadows, exited, and stood now upon the flat ground over his fortress. The tree next to him was at least one hundred feet tall and of considerable girth. Looking at it he narrowed his eyes. After scrutinizing the piece of nature for almost a minute he nodded, satisfied that he hadn't been out of the world for too long. He then slunk back into the shadows set out towards a far off destination.
